Surprised by reviews on Unilocal.Had a great experience. Pros: 1. Location: very close to the highway but in a quiet area. 2. Cleanliness: The hotel appears to be old but the premises were generally clean. 3. Room: We got a room on the ground floor. The room, the bed, the toilets, everything was clean and well maintained. We were very satisfied. 4. Staff: very friendly and helpful. Cons: 1. Limited food options nearby. 2. Breakfast is carb overload. Fruits would have been great.

It was fine. Basic accommodations right next to a large dog track and casino. 15 minutes drive to Memphis and a standard pool. It’s nothing fancy, but it does the job. I’m not sure why Unilocalers are so tough on hotels.

Disgusting, slimy floors, stains on couches and chairs. Roaches crawling around and A/C did not work. Only good thing. Refund given and we left.

Horrible! After spending 11 hours driving, I check in. The bed was stained, sheets and pillowcases filthy, carpet filthy, dust everywhere. A man came to put clean sheets on the bed and didn’t know how to make the bed, so I helped him. The shower didn’t drain, found a roach in the mini fridge. The best part is, a man used his key to come into my room in the morning while I was still in bed! Horrible invasion of privacy and very scary and illegal. The area is shady and I was told the owner would call me back regarding the issues. It’s now been 1 week and I’ve called several times and have been lied to. I would’ve been better off sleeping in my car. Please save yourselves your time, money and sanity and stay anywhere but here.

I selected this hotel online based on amenities and reviews and I am dreadfully deceived. First the massive road construction and the tortuous route to arrive at this address(construction is only part of the hassle). I pulled in, went to the door, and was deafened by an alarm right above my right ear. It shrilled at an ear shattering 88db(yes, I measured). I immediately commented on it… This will matter later. The transaction was swift and all seemed well until I parked and observed the major renovation in progress. It slowly degenerated through the evening. The tablesaw, ceramic saw, and jackhammer were all going on the floor above. This is an open breezeway design that has the ominously unlit stairwells. These also echo like mad. It was 112db in the room. At 7pm I went to the office to complain. The info I derived from the visit is: they have vacancies on the first floor, normally the saws stop at five, I could have been on the other end of the motel. Days Inn West Memphis — where the staff make passive-aggressive room assignments. How else would someone who says he disliked a loud noise be billetted directly in the construction. Hey Days Inn, you screwed me over big time. Yeah, I’m hacked off.
