I’m really impressed with this Salvation Army thrift store. As soon as I walked through the door it was like I had walked into Target or Walmart, except everything was second hand. Everything was extremely organized and the items themselves(ex: clothes and electronics) did not appear outdated.

Not quite sure how one location’s prices on similar items can be so far off from each other. But, alas, such is the case. This one is a «super» Salvation Army. Located in what was once a furniture store, you can still go into the fake house and view the furniture items they have on inventory. The selection varies(just like any location), but this one seems to be able to get the better items. It takes time to browse through all the racks and shelves to find something good. But every so often you find that magical item that you just have to have but didn’t know you needed to have it. The staff here are as friendly as can be. I don’t think I was smiled at so much by an older lady ever in my life. Huge pro here is that they take cards, whether it be debit or credit. Downside is the pricing of items.

I always score big at this Salvation Army location. I’m on always on the hunt for anything pertaining to owls and I almost never leave this place without one. The store is organized well and kept neat. Employees are friendly and helpful. Some of the prices are questionable but still reasonable. If you love thrifting it’s worth the drive, you won’t leave empty handed.

This thrift store probably tops my list right now for good finds in Pittsburgh. It is a bit out of the way(in West Mifflin) but if you are doing a lot of shopping, then this is the place to hit.(It is also close to Big Lots, Burlington Coat Factory, and a Gabriel Brothers). Garments are usually well organized by type of clothes, and it doesn’t overtly smell like mothballs. The clothes are also organized by color which saves me a lot of time when I’m hunting for something. Sometimes it can be a little on the pricey side(for a thrift store), and they are very strict about not selling something without a tag, so don’t even try. Also, sometimes when they staple on the tags, they damage the clothes. This is a huge store, very clean, and a neat little staging area for the furniture. Open 9a-9p Monday-Saturday.
