Good sports bar to grab a bite to eat and have drinks. They have excellent wings. Recommend getting the B & B wings. B & B wings have a sweet, but spice to kick to them. Good drink specials. Bartenders are attentive(attractive too) in serving drinks. At night, young crowd. Need a cameo hat and jacket to fit in, but for happy hr or lunch, good spot to check out.

We really love the wings here. The food otherwise is ok. However, last night, we went for a later dinner– we were ignored at the door for about 5 minutes with the greeters back turned to us-while she chatted with a waiter… finally I interrupted them and was admonished and told she would be «with us when she finished what she was doing«. it is my thought that you should be acknowledged and nicely told that they will be with you in moment instead of ignored… silly me. Also my husband’s tomato sauce was seriously burnt… not a good flavor.(Made me wonder if it was intentional for interrupting the greeter…) Lastly, to top it off, the open mic was so loud– so loud you had to scream over it. I get the live music scene, been there done that. But it could be set at 6 or 7 so people can converse without shrieking at the top of their lungs. We had to hurry and get out of there, it was just so so loud. If we go back, it will only be for afternoon meals in that case.

Food was poor at best. Somebody needs to let the cook know French onion soup is made with beef stock not chicken bouillon. Waiter was awful. The look on his face was of someone in mourning that should have taken the day off. Drinks were overpriced. Agree with another review you can buy most of the menu at BJ’s in the frozen food section. Never ever again.

Not sure what all the hype is about this place. Supposedly the wings are good. Most of the menu is just fried frozen food you could buy in the freezer section at restaurant depot. Salads are awful and made with iceberg lettuce. Grilled shrimp was tiny and cooked to death. The selection for vegetarians/pescetarians is pitiful! The beer is cold and the sangria was pretty good though.

The wings are very good as well as the rest of the menu. Great sports bar with lots of space inside. The bar area gets rowdy /irreverent during games so best bring the kids over to the dining room. A new outdoor games area and outdoor bar that looks like a yankees dugout replica has been built also. The beer selection is ok but needs more taps and craft beer.

Been going to the original jimmy geez for years and thought it was time to try north. Nice place and big. Way bigger than the original. We were seated in the back. It’s a big menu with mostly bar/comfort food. I love the wings at the original so I tried the wings as an appetizer. We also got Mac & cheese wedges and stuffed sweet potato. The wings were terrible. I’m gonna say they were cooked from frozen sometime before I ordered them. They were hard tough and cool in the middle and drenched in sauce. The stuffed potato was also cool in the middle and the pork it was stuffed with was beyond chewy. Mac & cheese bites were good. For main course I had the skirt steak. It was average at best. Over cooked and tough. Sandra and juli each had a burger and said they were pretty good. Suzi had chicken parm over pasta. Bland Bland Bland. For dessert we had ice cream and girls had a chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. The vanilla ice cream had a strong flavor of metal. Absolutely horrible. We let them know and they did take them off the bill. Nice friendly staff and prices are reasonable but food is average at best. Thinking I will stick to the original for the wings every now and again.

Nice atmosphere, a little noisy in the dinning room. the dug out is fun. Friendly bar tenders and wait staff. Went there a few buddies, eat and drank, they did not rush us just hung out watched a game!

Place straight up sucks and I would never go back. Manager is unprofessional and bias. Complained about tables using«fowl language» and being«loud» during football games, but two feet away at the bar they were allowed to be as rowdy as they want and curse. It’s a bar. Are we adults? Manager was cocky and threatened to call police on paying customers for fowl language use. Not a great place to go if you want to have a good time and enjoy any sporting events. Choose another sports bar. Unless you’re 90 years old, or have kids.

Great place. Clean dining room and clean bathroom. Friendly service and full of TVs. I ordered the BLT wrap with fries and a few beers. The food was served quickly and tasted great. In addition to the great food was a large selection of beers on tap. Looking forward to going back and I’d recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for good food and a good time.

Jimmy Geez just charged me an extra $ 1.50 for an extra dollop of blue cheese with my veggie platter. Really, guys? That’s not how you keep people coming back. I love this place normally, but that’s not good business.

Ok sports bar but it’s really loud which makes for difficult conversations. Chicken tenders and wings a very good and the salads are substantial. Not much parking.

This place has a number of incarnations over the decades and all have failed. So my interest has been piqued by the full parking lot every time I pass by. I finally stopped in with a friend, who recommended the place for its mac n cheese bites. The hostess told us it would be a 20 minute wait for a table, but there were two open seats at the bar, so we grabbed them. Beer selection is average, a lot of the big brewery swill along with some gems. But seriously, why do they need a paragraph on the menu to describe Budweiser and Miller Lite, etc Bartender was friendly and efficient. We received our food fairly quickly. Maybe our experience is different from others who have complained about the wait time because we were at the bar. My friend liked her mac n cheese bites as always and even ordered a second. I chose the buffalo chicken pannini and it was tasty, as where the jalapeño«bottle caps». The décor is pure sports bar, well lit and plentiful TVs. A far cry from the dark and empty dive bar that was in this budding in the 80’s.

I was craving buffalo wings, I had ordered the buffalo sampler before and it was pretty good but this time was absolutely disgusting, boneless chicken and wings had no sauce and seemed to be from days before, super dry and did not even look like chicken. I had throw the entire platter away .I will never go back to that place!

My wife and I spilt the steak tip appetizer, ordered medium rare, came out cooked perfect. Great rosemary seasoning on the beef and the horseradish sauce was good. ½ burger was juicy and cooked just how I asked medium rare… same for my wife’s grilled steak wrap. Service was friendly… beers were cold… place was busy and clean. Will definitely be back. Great with or without the kids.

I ordered take out from Jimmy Geez. I ordered two kids meals and two adult. I was surprised when i arrived home to see that I kids hamburger had six french fries to go with it and the adult had about nine. The shrimp Cesar salad had enough lettuce to barely cover the bottom of the tin. Maybe they are better when you stay but it’s really sad that you have to make dinner after you go out to buy it. I would skip the take out. They seem to want to skimp on the cheapest part of the food. I would not return.

The ladies were going out tonight, and somehow this place was suggested. Obviously after my experience, I looked at her with the tilted head confused dog look. She didn’t want to make waves, so went with the flow. She thinks I’m a snob(I’m not, my favorite places are dive bar/restaurant types places). Oh well… got to be right again. Like you have seen from other reviews was repeated tonight. Had to wait for no reason to sit, then for service then for food. And all of them, not worth the wait. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Considering this is in the middle of nowhere, it’s not like it is local to many. Not going to mention other spots, but you don’t have to drive far to find better bars or food or service. If coming from Oak Ridge, other spots are better if you head south or up to Sparta. Wish it were different as I’d love a local-ish place that was a good hangout place too.

Two reviews. If you want drinks, this is the place to go. Fast, friendly bartenders. Lots of tv’s, specials all the time every day of the week. Now, if you want food, that’s a different story. Lots of choices on the menu, some homemade creations, no problem finding something to choose from. However, GETTING your food is a monumental task for the kitchen. I’ve had issues there in past with bad ticket times, but today was the worst. Waited two hours, watched everyone else in the place get their food, then we left. The bartender said he would pay for our drinks even though I said that was okay and I don’t mind paying for that. Can’t say that we will be back anytime soon especially with competition in the area. You would think that would light a fire under management’s butt! Bottom line, drinks = fast and priced well. Food = slooooow service and decent taste. One star because I go to this place to HOPEFULLY eat and not just drink. I can have a beer or drink at home for less money and aggravation.
