I went 2 Jersey Mikes 3x at three different locations and the service was first class! I’m a Cousins Subs fan but now my tastebuds have agreed Jersey Mikes bread, service and products r better than Cousins Subs. I know this will b debated by critics and serious Sub sandwich fans but even their chips r better! The prices need a little tuning but 4 the first class customer service I’m not complaining. 1 last thing the location on the east side is next door 2 Jamba Juice who has the best juice bar in Milwaukee!

Last night after shopping for new cell phones my family went to Jersey Mikes. The tables were up on ½ the tables at 7pm last night? Made us uncomfortable especially because they don’t close until 9pm. I ordered the Cheese Steak. It was just ok. The description said smothered with onions, peppers, and mushrooms. No mushrooms, 3 little pieces of peppers, and barely any onions. For the price, taste, and value. Cousins is speaking to me pretty loudly. The Cousins Cheese Steak is substantially better. I

One of the best Philly cheese steak sandwiches I have had. Others in my party said their sandwich was excellent as well. Very friendly staff. Will definitely come back.

I find myself favoring Jersey Mike’s subs over Jimmy John’s, Cousin’s, Subway, Firehouse, and any other sub chains I forgot to mention. I like the variety of hot and cold sandwiches; I like the abundance of meats and veggies; I like the texture of the bread they use; and for the most part, I like their approach to great customer service. Some employees are better at it than others. Get your sub«Mike’s Way» for the additional oils and seasonings that add major flavor layers to your sub.

I had been craving meatball subs for a week. Like I would wake up and instantly desire the warm feeling of mozzarella melted over juicy meatballs in my mouth. But other things got in the way. First it was Bel Air, then Leff’s Lucky Town for Fish Fry, and somehow seven days passed and I didn’t fill this urge. But then it was tonight. Saturday. At 6:30 my partner and I decided to indulge in subs. Subway? Nasty. Cousins? For nostalgia purposes I only eat ham and provolone there. No, what I wanted some amazing giant meatballs at Glorioso. I can drive across town for meatballs. Yes, let’s do this! Wait. Closed at 6? On a Saturday? Whatever. Ok, so we’ll just do the Public Market. Hard to get in and out, but we’re dedicated people. What the hell. Closes in 30 minutes. Don’t places in Milwaukee want money on the weekends? I’m literally trying to hand someone my money and I can’t. Businesses: just because you want off on the weekends doesn’t mean the world stops eating. So I come to trusty Unilocal and I look up «meatball sub near 53208» and the first thing that comes up is Jersey Mikes. And woah. It is even closer than Culvers which = quicker time to get home and stuff face. Go there. Get greeted awesomely. And meet Ray, who provided the most caring and genuine customer service I have experienced in a long time. Everything looked clean and fresh. My partner got a roast beef giant of sorts and a got a giant meatball sub with onions. The meat tasted amazing and I was happy for exactly what I craved. And I have more for later. But back to Rayven, who made my sub, and Ray, the guy working the register. They were really great and seemed happy to work with each other and be at work in general. It made the experience really great. My partner is going back to tip them right now, actually. I don’t carry cash and he only had so much and we want to make sure those two employees know they are appreciated. I’m a happy, meatball sub stuffed lady.

Glad to see I’m not alone on this sub place being subpar. First, the subs are very salty, second they use Boar’s Head meat and third, worse than Subway, Cousins, JJ’s and even going down to almost as bad as Quiznos. This is one place I DONOT miss about living in a West Allis.

Probably the only pastrami sandwich I haven’t liked. Overall, I don’t think Jersey Mike’s is good. Pastrami is my favorite deli meat of all time and I still didn’t enjoy my sandwich. I don’t know what it is… maybe the bread, maybe the quality of meat, but jersey mike’s is not for me. Of all the sub places, I would rank jersey mike’s below subway and cousins… and FAR below Jimmy John’s, if that puts it in perspective for anyone.

First time at a Jersey Mike’s and I was very happy to have made the stop. Food was great and the staff here was awesome. After we mentioned it was our first time in they were quick to make popular recommendations and were very welcoming. Too often the negative comments come through and today it was a fantastic experience. Staff was great!

I’ve been here a handful of times and I’m surprised I haven’t posted a review for it, but there’s a good chance I have a review for a different Jersey Mike’s location. I love Jersey Mike’s. The only thing I’ve found that I don’t like is the fact that it’s BYOBO… Bring Your Own Black Olives… They cut the meat right in front of you, same with the cheese. Ask Subway to do that for you, then just laugh as they pull the meat out of the processed bag. Based on that alone, it makes it just feel fresher than Subway. Don’t get me wrong, I like Cousin’s and Glorioso’s too, so I’m not just trying to make a knock on Subway… but everything at JM just seems to be better. Crisper lettuce, fresher tomatoes, more tasty bread… I dig it. The people don’t seem to hate their jobs here either, and that’s a bonus. So, thanks Jersey Mike’s, I’ll be back.

First time I was here it was fantastic. However, this time was a little disappointed. No salt or pepper or mayonnaise on it. Hate going back and having something corrected.

Descriptive phrase: east-coast style subs shop. I came to Jersey Mike’s to get my free birthday sub, and the two young workers were excited for me! I’d never been before, so I got their #6 Famous Roast Beef and Provolone. It was a solid sandwich, with plenty of fresh ingredients. Nothing wowed me, though I did enjoy the nearly-excessive amounts of seasonings and oils they covered it in. It’s a fine change-up from any other sub place.

This location is in a strip mall on Miller Parkway, near National Blvd. Entering and exiting the parking lot is easy and there is plenty of parking available in the lot. The store itself is bright, new and very clean. This was my first time visiting a Jersey Mike’s. I was glad I came here. Jersey Mike’s sandwiches are definitely superior to those at Cousins or Subway. The quality of product rates with Pot Belly, but it is different and better, IMHO. At Jersey Mikes, all orders are built with fresh cut meats; literally; i.e., they take a slab/roast/brick of your choice of meats/cheeses on a slicing machine and cut it up, fresh, for your sandwich. For sure, they put a lot more meat/contents on the sandwiches than any of the aforementioned competitors, a reason that the price maybe as much as a buck or two more expensive. They have«add chips and a drink» specials and the beverages are«help yourself.» I really like this place!

I was happy that they finally came to Milltown. They slice your meat to order so it’s really fresh. I have only had the turkey sub but I highly recommend it. This is going to be more costly than a Cousins or Subway visit but I think it’s worth it. This tastes as good as a sandwich I would make at home. I really like their iced tea. It actually has tea flavor unlike most fast food places. I have never had an issue with the service. It’s always been fast and friendly.

I stopped in for the first time on 4⁄4. I had never heard of the place before, but decided to give it a try because my mom loves it. I was pleasantly surprised by how different this place is compared to the typical Sub restaurant. Everything is sliced/cooked in front of you rather than sitting in pans all day. I went in the early after noon and the guy who was working did a great job! Will be back!

Subs are great, I love the deli style service… employees could be more friendly. Biggest knock against them is that the amount of meat on the subs seems to vary greatly.

I live just down the road from this place and when I saw it was finished I was anxious to give it a try. My fiancé and I went for lunch just after it opened and I was impressed by the interior but still decided to takeout. Their menu was easy to read and had a great variety of subs ranging from cold-cut to hot sandwiches. I decided to get their featured sub which was the Chipotle Turkey and my boy got a hot sub. I thought their bread was delicious and was surprised to see them cut the meat as they were making my sub. I’d recommend Jersey Mike’s to anyone who is looking to upgrade from Subway and is bored with Jimmy John’s and Cousins!

I just Noticed a jersey mikes subs on miller park way and did a u turn. I had this once years ago in IL. and thought it was good. There is three sizes sm, med and large so I opted for the med for around $ 7.00. Well a med is 13 inches and this was a big sub. First off when you order a sub you will notice a meat slicer next to a glass deli meat case displaying all the meats and cheese. When you order your sub they will take the meats and cheese out and slice them right in front of you and then it moves to the fresh toppings section. I had lettuce tomato and onion on my Italian sub and finished it off with a drizzle of vinegar, oil and spices. The guy finishing the sub was a fan of cocktail because he was tossing the bottles of vinegar and oil in the air and pouring them on the sub. The whole experience of this place was kind of hip and cool which I don’t usually see. The sub was very good and I might just have put at the top of my sub list. Subway look out there is a new sheriff in town and the big guns are out. I don’t go to subway or blimpe because I didn’t think they are that good when you have a cousins and jersey mikes in the area that serve a better product. Two thumbs up.
