I enjoy the fact I can eat breakfast food at lunch. It generally has clean restrooms and does a neat shopping area included. Located on a road with several other restaurants and hotels close by right off i20

With limited breakfast options in the area, Cracker Barrel is on my rotation of breakfast spots. Service here can be hit or miss, depending on how busy or how fully or understaffed they may be. If you are in a hurry though, I would recommend dining elsewhere since dining here usually takes about 45 mins– 1 hour. Some of my favorite breakfast items are the Wild Maine blueberry pancakes, topped with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup. Fluffy, warm buttermilk pancakes are the way to my heart and tummy. Their pancakes are always cooked perfectly! The sawmill grits are consistently delicious– don’t forget to add a pat of butter for even more deliciousness. The homemade buttermilk biscuits become addictive when you smother them with sausage gravy. For a sweet treat, try the biscuits with apple butter, which is available on request. I also enjoy the turkey sausage, which is often juicier and tastier than the regular sausage patty. There’s nothing special about the other typical breakfast items(bacon, sausage, ham, eggs) but they do satisfy your appetite. Their coffee comes with unlimited refills so you’ll be caffeinated and ready to tackle on any day of the week. The waitress will bring you the check near the end of your meal and you go to the register to pay. If you’ve been to a Cracker Barrel, then you’ve been to them all. The storefront is always festively bright with seasonal décor and you’re bound to find some good home décor/gift ideas. The wait for a table on a busy day is usually 10 – 15 mins at most. You can browse the store while waiting or enjoy the front patio filled with rocking chairs. The staff are almost always hospitable and friendly, which gives Cracker Barrel its’ Southern charm.

Don’t expect good service, even if it’s not busy. As far as the food goes, I ordered the sunrise sampler and it was mediocre at best. The hash brown casserole was ok, but cold like the rest of the dish. The waitress wasn’t very polite until she served up the ticket. What a «tourist trap». Would not recommend.

9 dollars for 2 eggs and a small ice cream scoop of hashbrown casserole and no coffee after asking twice. Every cracker barrel I go to has the same sorry ass amount of casserole and it’s way to expensive for what it is. Unilocal says its 2 dollar signs! Waffle house is way better and it’s only ONE dollar sign

3÷28÷2013 was the date I wrote this. It changed the date when I edited it. About all I like here any more is their cornbread and turnip greens. Use to LUV the chicken fried steak when it was homemade. Their batter changed on quite a few items also and it ruined the food. I LUV to shop their deals in the store tho! For that I give 5 stars!

My family and I stopped into this Cracker Barrel on our way down to the beaches along the gulf coast. I absolutely love any Cracker Barrel so it will be hard to get me not to rate a Cracker Barrel location with at least 4 stars. The food is great — I always get the Uncle Herschel’s Favorite with some ham, grits, and the must-have hashbrown casserole. I love the ambiance with the country atmosphere and all the random items scattered across the walls. After eating I always get lost in the front area either shopping for random things I don’t need or sitting outside on the rocking chairs. The only issue I have ever had with Cracker Barrel is the speed of service. I never go to this chain if I am in a hurry. It usually takes at least an hour to sit down, order, receive your food and pay. However, if you aren’t in a hurry and want some great, fresh home cooking then Cracker Barrel is for you!

We hadn’t been to a Cracker Barrel in years and last time we went we remember it being phenomenal. Pulled in and parking lot was packed. The gift shop had a fair share of people and it made maneuvering to host stand was difficult. Pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly, but hostess said absolutely nothing to us. Took 7 minutes to have a server even touch the table. As we looked around, we saw several other tables frustrated. What gets me so mad is when you see a group of staff standing around by kitchen. I ordered chicken fried steak with mash potatoes, dumplings and fried apples. My wife ordered the ham with corn and fries. We ordered mac and cheese for the two year old. Food came out 15 minutes later by someone besides our server. Food must have been sitting because fries were cold and apples cold. Dumplings tasted like flour and lacked substance. Chicken fried steak had lots of gristle. The ham was half inedible. My wife say corn was good and I enjoyed snacking on my kids mac and cheese. On menu it states corn bread or biscuits, but we were never given option. I’m not a biscuit fan and a plate came out with 8 biscuits and 3 little butters. If I had wanted biscuits the poor presentation would have bothered me more. My wife and I both ran out of soda and had to ask before given refill. That took another 6 minutes… Halfway through meal server asked us if we wanted to go boxes and presented check. Ummm what happened to not being rushed!?? Bathrooms were so-so and could have been better cleaned. I think it will be another few years till we return and perhaps will pick another location.

Worst service we have ever experienced at Cracker Barrel. We had been driving all day and was hoping to stop for a good sit down meal. Part of the order was not correct, we never received our bread and waitress didn’t come back until she brought the check. I spoke with the manager and the entire meal was free.

Fresh country eggs! I love my eggs sunny side up and when I pop that whole yolk in my mouth… i can taste the freshness! Delish! Great price and service… especially from Megan.

This was, quite literally, some of the worst food I’ve ever eaten. Bread was tough and dry, butter was hard, all 4 meals were room temp, skin of potato was completely inedible, checked tenders were dry and flavorless. I have never seen a pork chop that skinny. in fact, I didn’t know it was possible to cut them that thin. I would describe it as a shaved pork chop. No wonder it was dry. It’s saying something when you have to dip the pork chop into ketchup. Gravy was gelatinous. I’ve had better salads at McDonalds and better chicken at Chik-Fil-A. I promise that none of this is an exaggeration. $ 40(plus tip) for a meal we could not choke down. Save $ 20 and get some fast food instead.

Cracker Barrel has the best customer service & great food too! Our waitress was excellent and the food was BIG and prepared for us within 6 minutes. The cost per person is approximately $ 8 – 10 and you get quality & quantity food. There is a gift shop which covers all the bases(adults & kids). The restrooms are clean, nice, stocked up with supplies, and conveniently located by the gift shop. I give it 5 stars — job WELLDONE!

I like Cracker Barrels — probably because I only eat there once every several years. Last night we went and had: 2 — chicken fried steak with mixed corn/green beans; 1 — Camp Beef w/corn/red potatoes/carrots; 1 — Grilled chicken tenderloin with baked sweet potato and steak fries. the 2 chicken fried steaks they said were great. the camp beef my friend said she didn’t like; she said she did like that it was not so salty, but something about the cut of the beef or something(i was too busy stuffing my face). my grilled chicken tenderloin had great flavor; i just wish there was more of it. it was 4 tiny pieces(i mean, like chicken nugget size) — maybe i’m just a pig. The baked sweet potato was delish, and the steak fries were also good. I also finished off the dinner with a piece of apple pie and ice cream. would have been so much better if the pie had come out hot. but, maybe i’m too picky. our server was Donna, and she was great — thank you!

This location is hit or miss. The food is always a hit, with large portions and tons of delectable sodium nourished home cooked meals. The prices are a hit too, so affordable. The location is right by the airport so a perfect destination to send off your friends before their flight. The choices are great too, and they added some healthier options to the menu. It’s the staff that is a miss being so busy they can’t remember your table, or your order, or your water, or to be friendly. I don’t blame them but the people in charge need to hire more workers so it’s not so hectic and understaffed. It definitely effected our experience here but for the food and price, there’s nothing else quite like a Cracker Barrel.

Its very cold in here! Cracker Barrel needs hotter food and warmer dining areas, but we still stop at many Cracker Barrels!

Cracker barrel isn’t just for old folks! Great food and generally good service. They stay busy at this location but it’s good for a change of pace. Food like grandma used to make.

Sure… it’s a chain restaurant, but the food is tasty and the service at this specific cracker barrel was outstanding.
