Maybe it’s the management that’s the problem, because the restaurant has declined over the past year. It used to be one of the top chain-restaurants in West Monroe but not anymore. There is always a wait, no matter how slow it is, because they are under staffed and can’t clean the tables. The waiter got my order wrong the last two times I have been, but the drinks were good and so was our appetizer. However, it was served in to-go paper cups… Overall, it’s a consistently bad experience now, and that makes me sad.

Honestly, this was not a good experience. I normally love Chili’s & always enjoy the food, but this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in a restaurant & definitely at a Chili’s. They were out of salsa, they brought old guacamole, they were also out of corn tortillas, the kids pizza tasted like they used salsa as the sauce(which is probably why they ran out of it). It was slightly spicy and enough so that my son noticed & didn’t want to eat it. We asked for jalapeños on the side of our guac & fajitas, & didn’t get them either time. We also asked for black beans & didn’t get them until we asked for them a second time. In general, the food just wasn’t that great. It tasted like it had either been sitting out or like it was old. I am really disappointed in our experience & hope that they read this review & do something about it.

The service was very slow and it took quite some time for someone to seat us, we were just about to walk out before we were acknowledged. The food was mediocre(I’m being nice, it wasn’t very good) but the drinks were good! The physical appearance of our server was very«ex con, just got out and I gotta have a job so my probation officer lets me stay out late» he was nice but no doubt he’s served his nickel. The bathrooms were in horrible shape. The rolls of toilet paper were on the floor instead of in the dispensers as were the paper towels. One paper towel disperser was completely broken. None of the stools were flushed. It doesn’t send a good message to me if they can’t manage to take a peak in the bathroom and tidy it up or even care to stock it properly. We were there for a couple hours and no one fixed the problem.

I just had the pleasure of dining at the Chili’s in West Monroe. Although this is one of my favorite«chain» restaurants, I don’t find the time to go as often as I’d like. I ordered the bottomless soup and salad lunch which was reasonably priced at $ 6.99. The food took a little while to come out but our server, Devon was very kind, courteous, and pleasant. As a matter of fact, I made sure that I spoke with the GM when I left because I wanted his boss to know what a wonderful job he did. I’ll definitely return!

I dined alone at the bar on Chili’s while I was in Monroe on business. I felt this Chili would meet the corporate guidelines and offer the type of dining experience you would expect from Chili’s. I was a little apprehensive after reading the bad reviews, but I was tired and there was a chance of rain and it’s not as though I was expecting the Next Food Network Star to be born in this restaurant. So, I’m a lazy girl and it didn’t blow up in my face. It was actually pretty good! The service was good, unlike others before me, I was pleased with the level of attention I received. I had an early dinner, so it wasn’t too crowded and with a nearby Hooters, this didn’t seem to be the place to interest a group to catch a game. The food came quickly and the bartender was on top of everything, keeping my drink full, ensuring the food was to my liking and asking about dessert. He engaged in just enough conversation to pass the time, but not dominate my attention, so that I was forced to talk to him. I was in and out and enjoyed my meal. I would definitely go back based on my experience. Maybe new management has turned things around!

This Chili’s kinda sucks. =( We were three out-of-towners just looking for some good food and drinks — and sadly, we didn’t find either at the West Monroe Chili’s. First of all, we had to wait several minutes for anybody to even greet us. Oh, and did I mention the place was completely empty? So, it wasn’t like everybody was busy helping other customers. In fact, we saw so many employees just standing around talking. Finally, a server came by to help us find a seat. We made the mistake of coming to West Monroe on a Sunday night — because you can only get beer and wine. We asked for sangria, but the server said they’d have to make it without any brandy. Then, he brought out two glasses of red wine! I’m pretty sure I could have made some sangria without brandy that still actually tasted like sangria! Anyway, the wine was awful, and we couldn’t drink it. We got a cheese fries appetizer, and it was good. And then our meals came, and none of us even finished half a meal. In fact, I took exactly one bite of my quesadilla. Yeah, it was that awful. But our server didn’t even ask if something was wrong. Honestly, he was pretty oblivious to most things going on. In the end, our trip to Chili’s was pretty sub-par, and I probably won’t be going back.

Meal started great. Appetizer was hot and fresh but that’s where it ends. My fajitas were ice cold, my friend’s burger was not hot and every bite all they could taste was pickle. The burger was small. Service was very slow(but not our servers fault, she was running around like a chicken with her head chopped off). They needed more servers. Will not be back :-(this use to be one of my favorites. :-(

I must say this has been a fav of mine for several years. We ate there tonight, and it was pitiful… Our appetizer looked like it had already been served, or cooked in old grease. I ordered unsweet tea, and got sweet. Then it gets worse, I ordered Portabella & Steak Fajitas and got plain fajitas. The tortillas were cold, like they were just pulled out of the fridge. The black beans tasted like they were fresh dumped out of a can, and not even heated. Needless to say, it will be a while before I eat there again. Oh, and did I mention it took forever to get our food!!!
