Only gave 1 star because no stars can be given! Horrible customer service if you’re lucky to get that I’ve been inside 3 different times n had to walk out each time!!! not wasting time there anymore

I ordered pollo guisao(stew chicken) with rice. I was a little disappointed. Although the food was seasoned nicely, it was warm. I personally like my food hot, I told the waitress, but lost my appetite during the heating process. It was ok.

Amazing food!!! We love stopping by there for breakfast… The service is great! The owner always greets you with«hello». Always busy there so it says a lot about the restaurant. Ohhhh and the coffee is to die for! Love having this gem by the house…

The place gets 3 stars as the food is good. However they need to get people on staff that can speak basic English, as it’s not cool talking to a customer to place my order. :-(

Pretty good breakfast. Everything was good. Coming back. Street parking can be hard, but they have a few spots for customers behind the restaurant l. Look for them or you’ll miss them.

Great little hole in the wall Spanish joint. Specials of the day are great and so are the fresh juices. The chicken soup is rx only and can cure anything!

They have a great selection and good value for the dollars spent. The staff are great and the food is filling and well made. They are also willing to accommodate special requests and do so graciously. I am told their Cuban coffee is absolutely delish!

great for quick pick up to take home. I never tried delivery service but I assume it will take long. Daily specials are great and portions are hearty. Breakfast sandwiches are great as well.

Stopped in here earlier today to pick up some food for dinner for myself, a friend and my boyfriend. Small place, dinner was ready as soon as I arrived, nice workers, they accept debit cards. For $ 33.00 there was a lot of food. However, we all came to realize this place put quantity way before quality. We ordered chicharron, yucca, chicharron de pollo in a garlic sauce, chicken cordon bleu, rice, beans and tostones which we all split. The rice and beans were average, the tostones was way too soft, the yucca was just really soggy, the chicharron was not fresh and horrible compared to other places within the area. The chicken cordon bleu was decent, it came in a nice red sauce and the chicharron de pollo in a garlic sauce was extremely bland. The free flat bread that came with our meal though was just awesome(definitely the best part of the meal). Overall in my eyes a complete disappointment especially due to the fact that I have had this place bookmarked for awhile mainly because of all of the fantastic reviews.

My budget for meals out has ballooned since I tried this place… I go here at least twice a week when I’m too lazy to cook. I live one block over on Boulevard East, and the food is phenomenal for the price! Be sure to ask for the menu, and check out the daily specials. They keep big vats of delicious meat going all day, and the Bistec con Viejo Roja is my absolute favorite. You get an enormous serving of meat, rice, beans, and friend plantains for just under $ 10. The counter ladies are the nicest people around, and give me a smile when I try to say things in Spanish. I usually get food to go, but if you dine in the portions are even bigger. I got two good-sized meals out of one special when I ate in! Best restaurant in the area, in my opinion.

I don’t know why it took me so long to try this place. I live literally right around the corner, which is so fantastic now that I know its amazing. West New York is a predominantly Latino neighborhood, and so the staff are here too. Even though my Spanish is limited, the staff is very accommodating and understanding. The interior is like a small diner, with a bar and stools. Everything is nice and clean, and the how atmosphere is just very comfortable. I usually get the food to-go, and damn is it ever satisfying. The prices are very reasonable, especially for their sandwiches. Honestly, the only thing that I wasn’t thrilled about would be the ham croquettes, just a bit on the dry side. El Artesano on Bergenline does them quite better. The portions here are plentiful, which usually allows me to get two meals out of one dish. Try their pomegranate batido(milkshake) for a wonderful treat. I will continue to frequent this place at least twice a week.

One of the best restaurants in town. The staff is friendly and bilingual and so is the menu. Every meal is translated so even non-Spanish speaking people could enjoy Latin cuisine with great aplomb. Plenty of food variety, they boast daily specials Monday through Friday as well as sandwiches including«pan con bistec» or «croquetta preparadas.» Eat in or carry out and good for breakfast, lunch and/or dinner.

Fast friendly service with a home away home kind of feel. So happy that I live close by this awesome place. Their café con leche(Spanish expresso with milk)(is soooooo good and you can’t go wrong with the sopa de pollo(chicken soup) mmmmm Everything is good but the special of the day are the best deal. My top eating spot in West New York.

This is the local colombian diner around the corner literally from my apartment. I was so pleasantly surprised by the food quality and the great service from the wait staff. Yes, their english is limited but hey my spanish is very limited so there. — Churrasco: big, juicy, flavorful and cooked just right — Roasted Chicken: big, falls of the bones tender, not too much skin and good seasoning. — Chicken soup: drives your cold away good — Shrimp with spicy sauce: pour that sauce all over your rice and forget about the beans. I was in Colombia couple of years ago and I think the food at this restaurant is better tasting. I cannot wait for the next meal. I must try their sandwiches or empanadas de colombia.

My girlfriend and I were going to eat here the other day but it was PACKED! A few days later we were able to get a seat and we’re glad we did. It was around lunch time and I got the steak in creole sauce with red beans and my girlfriend got the pork, ham, and cheese sandwich. Both were delicious and we ended up with enough leftover for lunch. All in all the food came quick, was fresh and delicious, and the meal came to $ 20 with tip and an appetizer. Hard to beat that!

Another great meal here — I had the Steak and Fried Eggs, which arrived with a side of potatoes and everything was great. I also ordered a sweet corn arepa along with a guava pastry and those were also excellent. I’m so glad this place is here!
