Ordered some general tso’s chicken for delivery. Got it anout an hour and a half later and it was all breading, no meat. Not going to be going here again.

Maybe I ordered on an off day, but the food was just OK if not somewhat disappointing. I scheduled it to be delivered at 12.30 and it was delivered right on time by a very pleasant Chinese man. Chicken and broccoli — kinda bland, the texture of chicken was a little chewy. Broccoli was good, just the right amount of crispness. Wonton soup — good wontons, but kinda bland broth. The egg drop soup was underwhelming. It seemed to lack flavor and had minimal amount of egg in it. Chicken nuggets and fries — standard Chinese food version I like. Not too greasy. This seems like the best Chinese place close by, so I’ll definitely try more stuff.

Have been looking for a fresh tasting and reliable Chinese food place. Second time ordering from them, and have to say that the food is consistently well prepared, fresh and hot and delivery way faster than seamless estimated! Awesome hot and sour soup !! Five stars. Keep up the great work !

So good! Had some amazing chicken and broccoli; delicious chicken chow fun; and a great fried vegetable dumpling. Quick delivery and delicious food means I’ll be ordering from them again soon! Thanks guys!

Ordered from Foliage Garden the other day after browsing grubhub and seeing positive reviews. I was a little skeptical, I checked Unilocal and decided it was worth a try. The food took a little bit longer than I’d like to arrive but I’m about 20 blocks away to be fair.
The food was super fresh. I ordered steamed veggie dumplings and a chicken with broccoli combo + beef fried rice and I added egg. Everything tasted like it was made to order. The dumplings were stuffed with crisp cabbage and carrots. The broccoli that came with the chicken also tasted really fresh.
I really enjoyed the food and received a free soda for the amount I spent. I loved it alot. Not greasy… like other Chinese takeouts! Will definitely order again!

Best Chinese in the area so far! A year ago I moved to West New York and since then I’ve been on a quest to find good chinese food. I gave it 5 stars because delivery was fast, fried rice was brown (and not that nasty yellow stuff others sale) general tso chicken was reddish brown and slightly crispy (just how I like it). I would definitely order from here again. It’s not the best Chinese I ever had but definitely the best in the area.

Best Chinese restaurant I’ve had tasted so far. The delivery is truly speedy. And they are not stingy with their sauces. Not like some other Chinese restaurants to charge you or have a limit or tell you what you’ve ordered only takes that type of sauce you don’t need the extra sauce…

Generally everywhere I’ve lived, I’ve always had one Chinese restaurant that was my stand by on those nights when cooking dinner was just not an option… Foliage Garden is that place at our house. Really good food, quick delivery, and they always come up the stairs to our door. Can’t say enough good about this place!

We were driving back home at around 11.30 pm. We were very hungry, didn’t know where to find some decent food.
That’s when we happen spot this message place. we asked them if they were open, the Lady owner came out saying that they were closing, but make my order. I could see from the counter that they had completely packed their m.e.p. They unwrapped everything to make my order.
Lo mein and chow fan were my favorites. Dumplings had a thick doughy wrapper.
Overall a great place for a cheap take out Chinese.

BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT
we order from them about 2⁄3 times a week. Food is fresh, pipping hot and delicious!!! and not to mention a speedy delivery. I love this place and recommend it to anyone. This is takeout at its best

First, thank you Unilocalsters! Because of reviews, I was able to find a Chinese place that was convenient and tasty.
What I tried:
House LoMein — very tasty, good amount of meat and tasty too!
Chicken and Broccoli — broccoli was EPIC, very, very good and a tasty dish all around.
Pan Fried Rice — really good too, not dry and not greasy.
When I’m in the mood for Chinese food again, I’m coming back to this place.

For chinese food its one of the better places I have had in the area. My goto meal is General Tso’s chicken and I hate it when its not crispy. Both times I ordered from here the food arrived quickly and the chicken was nice and crispy not a soggy mess.

I’m only giving 4 stars because I’ve only ordered from here one time, and I don’t think that is enough experience to warrant 5 stars.
But, having said that, everything about my experience was positive, from the person who took my order to the delivery person to the food itself. I will definitely be ordering from Foliage Garden again and I would not hesitate to recommend it to a friend.
