Love Sal’s! Probably order from here a little more than I’d like to admit. Everything is delicious and well prepared. If you eat there the staff if friendly and everything is clean, if you get delivery they might possibly be the quickest delivery I’ve ever had. We’ve tried many things on the menu and never found something we didn’t love.

Best chicken wings in town. Delivery is always quick and fast. Prices are reasonable and staff is very nice. I usually order for delivery twice a month, never had a problem. Great pizza shop in West New York.

WORST Customer Service ever !
I have been trying to reach them since a while. In my last 3 attempts, I have been put on hold and my call has been transferred to other employees turn by turn. In one such attempt, the employee just randomy cancels my call without even talking. In the last attempt when finally a girl came and statted talking I had a very simple question as to why are they charging me extra for a side dish with a wrap, when it is clearly mentioned on their website that all wraps are served on a whole wheat wrap and a choice of side dish of salad or fries. My question was simple and straight enough as to why are they charging extra for something which is coming slong with the main in the price piblished online. Unable to answer my queastion, the lady on the other sude of the phone dropped my call…
Seems like some kind of strategy of fooling around customers!
The least we as a customer expect is some dignity and integrity ! A genuine recommendation to people around not to loose out on their hard-​earned money to some spoilt and shrewd eatery. Wish I could give 0 star to them !

Disappointed! I ordered from here because of the reviews about how great the pizza was on Unilocal.Let me assure you the pizza here is not what these reviews make it out to be. Still looking for a good pizza delivery place in the area of anyone has any recommendations. I like the pizza when it’s like a good New York Slice. This place is just ur basic ordinary oven cooked pizza. Nothing great about the crust or sauce.

Really good option for a pizza. The crust is amazing and the tomato sauce is really good. The attention is good and even is tiny place but is cozy. Good choice for pizza.

Their pizza gave me the shits. Not once, not twice, but three separate times.
Also there is a female there that was extremely aggressive and rude on the phone.
I do not recommend unless you need to lose water weight quickly.

To start off, Sals has been here since before I can remember. Growing up in the area, I would always only come here for slices which were always amazing! But now, as an adult, I can say this is definitely one of the best pizzerias in the area.
Ordered a Medium pie and ate in the trattoria side of Sals, had a beer and watched the game (Go Giants!). The customer service was great — the two girls behind the bar also were the waitresses and could not be sweeter or more attentive! They interacted with the customers and quickly addressed anyone that walked in. Our pizza, more importantly, came out at a reasonable time and was as good as I always remembered it to be! So happy to see Sals is still doing well & can’t wait to come back

Always great pizza whenever we order for delivery. Super hard to find a good spot for pizza but this place is definitely a winner!
Even better to go there to grab a slice. They also have a nice dining area for trattoria style. Fast service and they never disappoint!

Based on the reviews, we ordered the classic Sicilian pizza and it was delicious! Another time we ordered a supreme ny style pie and it was pretty good. I would say if you are craving a Sicilian… this is the place to go.

Plain old good pizza. Tasty sauce & crispy crust. Good size too. That’s all that matters. Friendly staff. They have a special during the week, something like 2 slices and a soda for $ 5, don’t quote me, call to check. There is a front and back entrance. Standard pizza shop seating, not a huge place. This review is based on me eating there, don’t know how the pizza measures on a delivery.

Soggy croutons in chicken caesar salad.
Cold garlic knots that i had to throw into the oven.
And cheeseless chicken mozz wrap.

Why does their description says, best pizza place in «Bergen», if they can’t deliver there ??
– They don’t have «whole grain» (without artificially enhanced dough) bread. I don’t know if their sauce & cheese is processed-​sugar free or not. I dont mind adding lots of calories — so long as they use natural/​seasonal ingredients (not food like substances)
– It was my first time and I specifically mentioned that. I saw lots of hastags with store saying #bergen, so i researched them, and read the reviews and called.
They (with due respect) denied and said cannot deliver beyond 30 street. Then why Unilocalers are commenting, best pizza in bergen? Why does their description says, Bergen? I offered them extra $, but no, i am few streets far for them.
Wonder if they encounter a toll booth if they drive two streets further.

I order a delivery from sal’s pizzeria & rest in West New York, NJ … My order was fettuccine Alfredo and they charged me 12.95 for plain fettuccine… No chicken or shrimps

Thanks Unilocalers. I was hungry and your reviews led me here. I got «one and one» — 1 plain and 1 Sicilian. I really liked the regular slice. Goeey and a bit oily with lots of flavor. The Sicilian (square) slice was good but too much dough for me. My favorite Sicilian slice is at Rose’s in Garfield, NJ. If you’re ever in that area, I urge you to stop in and give ‘em a try.
Sal’s looks like it’s been around for a long time and everyone behind the counter was friendly. Definitely had a great neighborhood vibe.

This place has the best solid NY-​style pizzas in the area. I’m never disappointed whenever I’m craving a plain or one-​topping, greasy slice. However, I wouldn’t recommend getting getting more than 2 toppings, as their specialty pizzas aren’t that great (besides a white pizza).
I have gotten a few of their pasta dishes, and they can be hit-​or-​miss. You’re better off sticking with their pizza…

My wife and I order delivery from here pretty frequently.
My wife absolutely loves the stuffed spinach pizza. It’s currently her favorite item to order out of all the restaurants in our area. It’s good for dinner plus about two leftovers dinners. I personally don’t like pizza, but I like to get the chicken tenders.
We get the pizza and the chicken tenders delivered for $ 20 — $ 25, a great value.

We’ve been ordering pizza from Sal’s for years and they are one of the best delivery pizzerias in NJ. Food is always very good especially the pizza, phone ordering is fairly easy and they understand how to process credit cards over the phone (some places that really confuses for some reason).
Great mozzarella, very good pepperoni. Not a huge fan of their canned mushrooms though, with the wealth of great toppings they have it would be great if they included fresh mushrooms.

Wow! I’ve been eating at Sal’s for 17 years now. Since I was a kid, I moved to LA but always make sure I eat there whenever I’m back in town.
Everything is made with love, you can taste it! And the service is above and beyond– I ordered a half cheese half pepperoni pie and the driver mistakenly gave me a cheese pie, so I decided to call — not to complain about the driver who was actually really nice, but just to let them know what had happened– and Sal took care of it by sending us our half pepperoni pie at no cost! It came in like 10 minutes! — amazing!
I’m glad that the service has never changed and the quality of the food still tastes like home!

Sal’s Pizzeria is excellent. My family has been going here for years and it’s absolutely one of the best around. Growing up, I remember my Dad calling on his way home from work letting us know he picked up Sal’s and how excited we were! They have excellent Sicilian slices and regular slices. The Sicilian has crispy, thick crust and the sauce on the Sicilian and regular is out of this world. I can’t stand when I get a slice with bad sauce! Affordable, delicious and CONSISTENT. Absolutely no complaints.

Best pizzaria in Hudson County and North Jersey is pizza country. The regular slice is amazing but the Sicilian is out of this WORLD good! Has always been there. A legendary place and has actually possibly gotten better over the years!
