Go for the roast beef and salads, very good service and staff! Check out their daily specials that are good for the wallet and the belly. They do delivery and pick up very well!

This place has excellent food from the calzones to the pasta to the salads. We love doing half price pasta on Wednesdays and they have lots of options. Their salads are very fresh and the Cesar has homemade croutons. They also really have their stuff together and are very organized with their pick up orders. I have yet to be disappointed at Nick’s.

We ordered a catering order saturday and have nothing but nice things to say!
The order was a cold cut platter which came with all the fixings you would want on an Italian sub, diced onions, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, red onions and all the condiments you want.
We also got a large Greek salad which was not your average salad ! It had everything including red leaf lettuce peppers and tomatoes with red onions and feta on side! Nicks house dressing is amazing in itself !
The sub rolls were fresh as well and cut into 6″ rolls. Lastly the spinach pie was fantastic a true crowd pleaser. They made a large tray and cut it up into fours .
The staff are wonderful and very professional. This is our third time getting a catering order from them and it will not be the last!

I love everything I have tried on the menu so far. The food is hot and fresh. When my mom and sister come to visit they always ask if we can get lunch at Nicks. Moms favorite is the seafood platter fried. My sisters favorite it the seafood platter baked. I love the hamburger pizza with onions they use fresh ground beef not a meat mix it’s the best!!! The

Best sub shop in the area. They have reasonable prices and they take pride in their food. My favorite is their chicken cutlet salad not the chicken kabob. The chicken is so damn good. Kind of reminds me of my mothers famous «smashed chicken.» We live within walking distance of another sub shop but choose to go here instead.

Super friendly! Very clean and great food! I will definitely go there often and tell my friends about Nick’s Place! I enjoy walking into a place and feel welcomed and greeted with a smile. Makes a huge difference!

I love this place. The portions are ridiculous, you can share or save ½ of just about everything. I get the chicken kabob salad (which has mixed greens not just ice-​burg, love that!) and eat it for 2 days. Chicken salad, always fresh, all white meat, never drowning in mayo. Then there is the Fisherman’s platter… haddock, shrimp, clams scallops & LOBSTER TAIL? Brilliant! Huge fan.

Went to their brand new Lawrence location today with a few of my friends from central. Got fried chicken and cole slaw which were both great, not to mention their awesome menu which has everything you could ask for and very friendly staff. Will be back there soon!

The food here generally is not the weak point. We ordered delivery recently and were stunned at how long it took. I work as a chauffeur. My wife placed an order after I dropped off a party in Portsmouth NH figuring we would both arrive at the same time. She was told the pizza would take 45 min to arrive. I dropped my party off at 7:00 and they had a brewery tour and a private function. By the time I had to leave to pick them up at 9:15 the pizza from Nicks had just arrived, cold as a dead fish. Moral of the story is? Drive to Red Hook, take a tour, eat, and be home before your pizza arrives!

Salad is always fresh and delicious, it comes with fresh pita bread and always extra dressing if you need it. The Nicks Special pizza is very, very good as well, Seafood is great too, and the pasta is amazing. I love this place!

Great pizzeria! The pepperoni is good but we just had the «thin» vegetarian. OMG!
Fabulous! Could not imagine it with the typical thick crust. It would be too much. Please try if you like veggies. I typically could eat 4 pieces. With this one, 2!

We’ve ordered take out here a few times now and it’s always been great. The service is fast and friendly. And more importantly Nick’s is super clean! The rustic pizza is the best, but the roadhouse is a close second. We’ll definitely be back!

My bf and I have ordered from here twice now. The first time we had mixed feelings. We got a small pizza. Toppings were loaded on. I mean loaded. They definitely don’t skimp on that aspect. Which is good and bad. Lots of flavor is a positive but it’s so heavy that the dough becomes soft and you can’t eat it like a normal slice. It’s somewhat of a turn off actually. Today we gave it another go. We got the veggie pizza and a calzone. Pizza was again packed with toppings and, therefore, too soggy to eat. The calzone is hard to explain. It’s like they took a pizza crust, put toppings on it, then put another pizza dough on top, cooked it, and cut it like a pizza! It wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t order a calzone or pizza from here again. I’m not impressed by this place at all.

The first time around was not that great but we went back and are so excited because the pizza was much better! Love the calzones, pizza and roast beef sandwiches. People working are always friendly which makes it that much better. And the place is new and clean! That’s hard to come by.

So far so good for the latest Italian place to take up shop across from Pentucket High. Only ordered pizza once –a combo – that was pretty good, not greasy, and, best of all, delivered. Hoping Nicks makes a go of it, although our heart is still with West Newbury Pizza Co. «Downtown.»
