Jamba Juice

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at Jamba Juice. Usually I have excellent experience with the customer service and the quality of the drinks but this was not one of those times. The waiter was very disrespectful and had no hospitality skills whatsoever and had the audacity to scratch his balls while sagging his pants. And I can’t wait to get home and report this to the Bureau

Love coming to this Jamba Juice location. Quick. Clean. And pretty consistent smoothies. Colin and Michael are great and fun when they are here together. Will be back again and again.

If I could give this Jamba Juice 0 stars, I would 100%. First off, it was obvious from the get-​go that this location was severely understaffed. Upon entering, we had to wait at least 10 minutes to order our drink, as there was only one guy working and he was in the back taking an awfully long time working on this açaí bowl I’m assuming the previous customer ordered. 10. MINUTES. Seriously?! Strike one, bruh.
After he finally came over to take our order, he proceeded to take the order of the person behind us too. Okay, that’s fine. I get it. Take a few orders and then work on making all of them at once. Fast forward another 10 minutes or so though and those few orders turned into to at least 10 orders (see how long a line gets when you only have one guy working?!) and I was turning extremely impatient. Strike two.
While waiting for the guy to finish taking his like 100^th order (okay, slight exaggeration, but when you’ve been waiting 20+ minutes for a freaking Jamba Juice smoothie that usually takes 5 minutes tops, you get a little crazy), another employee finally walks through the entrance and I think to myself, HALLE-​FREAKING-​LLUJAH. We were saved. Or so I thought. If only I knew how wrong I was…
The new employee goes to the back of the kitchen and quickly starts grabbing a few things to make the smoothies. So far, so good, right? Newp. After putting some ingredients into a cup, she immediately stops and then looks at what I can only presume was the recipe for that smoothie. One glance, two glances, three glances. Girlfriend clearly did NOT know how to make that smoothie sans recipe. Or the next one. Or the one after that either. This. Was. Going. To. Take. Forever. Omg. Strike three. Already.
Now, I know you’re probably asking yourself… Corinne, why not just leave or get your money back? Because, Unilocal-​ers, I’m a stubborn ass mofo and I wanted my damn Apples ‘N Greens smoothie. Also, once you’ve kind of invested some time into something, it’s hard to justify leaving after wasting so much of your time already, ya know?
Fast-​forward another 10 minutes or so and the smoothies were finally moving on to the blender. Thank god. It should only be a few more agonizing minutes now. Wrong again! For some reason, my blender was the only one that didn’t seem to be working, as I saw that green pile of mush just sitting there, not getting blended in the slightest. At the same time, I saw other smoothies getting finished and being handed to all the people in line behind me. Um, no. This is so not okay.
I throw an «Excuse me» out there and as calmly as I can, ask her if there’s a reason why it’s taking so long to get our smoothie, seeing as how customers after us have already gotten theirs. In response, she merely points at my smoothie in its blender. No words. Nothing. «Is the blender not working?» I ask, just to maybe get an actual response out of her. «Obviously not» she retorts rather rudely. Girl, did yo momma not teach you any manners?! Well, mine did, so as politely as I can in this ridiculous situation, I say «Well maybe you can try putting it into another blender?» which is only met with a look and no action whatsoever. WHAT IS GOING ON. Strike 193 513 959 195. How high do you wanna go, Jamba?!
The guy all of a sudden appears after disappearing for forever (could have really used ya out here, dude), grabs my smoothie, brings it to the back and throws in god knows what into it (telling myself it was just more kale to help me sleep at night) and then puts it in a new blender. SUCCESS. Finally.
He leaves the smoothie in the blender for a few seconds and then the woman grabs it out, throws a cap onto it and pushes it in my face. No apology. Nothing. Should I really have expected it though? Probably not, but still. After frequently Jamba Juice for years now, I’d expect way better. Never thought I’d receive the worst service of my life here, but here we are. I will most definitely NOT be coming back and will be telling all my friends to never come here either. You have all been warned. If you’re ever thinking about stopping by here, DON’T. ABORT ABORT ABORT.

Nice and fast service, takes coupon, no guilt on calories when smoothies are all fruit and vegetables. Love their apple and green smoothie. They are pricey but their portions are pretty large but the smoothie is thick so I it’s definitely a meal replacement. Then, two hours later, snack on something.
Wish there was a Jamba Juice in my town!

Seems like a nice enough place. The cashier was very nice, smiled and made a couple of jokes. Didn’t catch his name tho. The place looked clean and the wait was not very long. My smoothie was a little bit chunkier than I would have liked, but other than that everything was fine. I’d come here again if I’m in the area.

This Jamba Juice is in the mall, it’s a juice bar with a good sized menu to choose from, I had the greens and ginger on my last visit which was very cleansing and refreshing. It was more of the smoothie consistency rather than a juice… it was $ 7 and change for a medium… so that basically was my dinner.
I must say that it was filling kept me satiated for the whole night…(I worked all night) anyway I think it’s a bit overpriced for a green smoothie — but I know that Palisades Mall rent is probably expensive too… I’d go back again… front line staff member was friendly and attentive as well… Speedy service, overall it was a pleasant experience.
