Just wanted to say, thank you so much Stacie for my ombré and haircut you did such an amazing job. My husband loves it. I will definitely be back thanks again.

Since going back there, a hairdresser there was very helpful and fixed it for me for free. I am now very happy with it although it is shorter than I hoped! :)

Okay, so today my first day ever getting my hair done at this place and being real, I never thought about visiting because I thought they only did certain types of hair(if you know what I mean). But my hair was in a huge poor and I needed it done badly! I walked in and the first person(and only person) I saw was Samer. He is the sweetest stylist and he made my experience very comfortable. The hole time, we were laughing, making jokes, and he answered all the questions I had about my hair. You guys have NOIDEA how happy I was that he can do my hair texture. So my natural ladies! Go to Samer, he’s amazing. My hair looks amazing. I feel amazing. He has a brand new client! I’m really excited to see you evolve, Samer. You’ll be great.

I came here to get my hair cut for the first time at this place. I haven’t gone to a salon in a while but Ive never had negative experiences in the past. The cut was decent itself seeing as I spent only $ 20. The stylist wasn’t great though. She never asked for my name. She hardly made small talk and she kept going to her phone. I wouldn’t come back. She was rude and seemed annoyed she had to even work. Her own hair? Bleh. How do you work in a salon and not have nice hair? Those services are at your fingertips! Wish I got the other stylist! She was working with another customer and seemed really nice!

After my negative/unwelcoming experience, the new manager messaged me and described her shock and explained that the employee was no longer at the studio. She asked me to come back for another try(on the house) and I took her up on it. She was very welcoming and did a great cut. Based on her response, I’d come back.

I took my 9 year old daughter for a trim. The hairdresser complaint about untangling my daughters hair making her embarrassed. My daughters hair is long which we want to keep. The hairdresser kept on saying that my daughter should could her hair up to her neck length. To which I got scared and said no! Not coming back. Rude and lack of patience

Not friendly, rip off charges. I was smart to ask pricing upfront and whether it includes wash, dry and or blow dry. The answer is no. If you decide to come here, make sure you ask in details before you sit down otherwise be prepared for the extra $ 30 fees.

Horrendous. I went in to get a layer cut in the back of my thick hair and some side bangs. The hair stylist, who had complained to my friend during her(also botched) incredibly easy cut that she wanted to find a different job, proceeded to insult my choice of hair product, ignoring(or downright arguing with) my explanations of why I need to use what I use, and then start hacking uneven layers into the back of my hair. She said she would keep the length but then proceeded not to. She also complained about how thick my hair was, whining that she had to go over certain parts more than one to cut it right, and then proceeded to not give me any bangs whatsoever. At this point, though, I didn’t want her touching my hair anymore, so I left without insisting on it. I ended up having to go to Lord and Taylor in Scarsdale to have my hair fixed, and the poor stylist there had to chop off multiple inches of my hair to try and get it right again. I know thick hair is difficult. But you shouldn’t be in the hair business if you are just going to complain about having to work with any hair thickness/texture other than your average straight, medium-thickness hair. This hair stylist also got up during my friend’s trim to take off her sweater and, to my eyes, take three minutes just standing in the back of the salon, doing nothing. I can accept a bad cut — it happens to all of us, and nobody is perfect — but the attitude was horrible, and there is no excuse for that.

I had Nikki and I absolutely loved her(her hair color and personality). She was very easy to talk to. I told her what I wanted, and she gave me the exact color I was looking for as well as the cut. The cut was different, but still not outside of my comfort zone. I really liked everything about the cut, color, and style. Nikki is the best! I would definitely go back to her again.

the people who work here should be embarrassed. how do you ask somebody to come back in a half hour, just to make them wait another 15mins and then say you don’t have time to take them. all because the potential client has special needs. absolutely disgusting!

I honestly don’t know but was I ripped off? Seriously a shampoo, cut and blow dry is $ 45? I might as well have gone to a better place to get my hair done. Christy was alright. When washing my hair she was digging into my head with her nails, she probably washed off half my makeup and she got my shirt wet. She wasn’t too personable, barely talked to me. I’m not going back.

I normally avoid the«chain» style hair salons, since I had a terrible experience with one years ago(it was not a Mastercuts) and I have a huge fear that I’ll end up with another hair disaster. But my hair was getting out of control, and I really couldn’t afford to spend $ 65 just for a simple shampoo, cut, and blow dry. I was in the Palisades Center anyway, so I bit the bullet and walked in. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by one of the stylists who was working on someone else’s hair. She was friendly, and informed me somewhat apologetically that the wait was about 40 minutes. I had the time to wait, so that didn’t bother me. She told me that I could add my name to the list, and they’d get to me ASAP. I left and came back about 25 minutes later, and as soon as I came back, they were ready for me. Vicky brought me back to her station, gave me a place to put my purse, and then took me back to the hair washing sinks. She was very upbeat and personable, and the conversation wasn’t «forced» like it often is in hair salons! After Vicky washed my hair, she brought me back to her station, and asked me what I was looking for. She immediately understood the look I wanted, and made sure to ask lots of questions about length, how I tend to style my hair, etc. She made me feel comfortable, like I could trust her not to butcher my hair. Vicky worked efficiently, and got the cutting part over pretty quickly — I was kind of surprised! During styling, she didn’t slather on the product like most salons tend to — she sprayed something lightly on my hair before drying it, and then a small amount of what I assume was a smoother after it was dry, and that’s it. And when she was done, my hair looked FABULOUS. And to top it all off, it was only $ 20! I think Vicky may have restored my faith in affordable salons! I can’t speak to anyone else’s experiences here, but I know that I’m super happy with my experience with MasterCuts, and with Vicky — so happy I took a chance!
