Staples

This is my first post, but have to tell you, I’ve been using this Staples for many years and it is always a pleasure. The managers always go the extra mile to make sure the customer gets the best deal possible. From Tablets to Computers, these folks have always rocked over going online.
I’m a bit on the techish side, so most of the time, I know my needs in advance.
I have been to a few but this will always be my «go to».

I just don’t know where to start… I drive 5 miles out of my way just to avoid this dump of a store. Items are frequently out of stock, staff is indifferent at best, almost all the shopping carts are difficult to use and the floor is filthy. I have switched to Amazon, free delivery and frequently less money, and no attitude

This is the worse staples I’ve even been in. It’s always filthy, and most of the staff is inept. I was in there yesterday to fax something. After I put my fax through, I didn’t receive a confirmation. I had to have the confirmation it was extremely important. However, the extremely rude girl that was working on 6÷24÷2015 in the evening acted like it was my fault. She proceeded to run her mouth about how stupid I was for not checking before I removed my credit card.
The store was crowded, lines everywhere, confusion, one guy got a credit card stuck in the machine.
I’m giving this two stars because the manager, Vladimir, that was on duty was extremely nice, and so was the tech trying to fix the fax machine. Other than those two employees there was nothing good about this store. I left and went to the one on RT 23 and that is a nice sto

Convenient location. Decently stocked.
Unfortunately, it always seems like it’s in dire need of cleaning. Customer service is non-​existent, check-​out lines are always too long and inefficiently staffed.
It’s just not as tidy and professionally run as other Staples locations in the area.
The staff does not seem familiar with their products and are unable to answer most questions. When met with questions, they read the information that’s on display with the item. I’m quite sure most of us can manage that for ourselves…

This staples might be convenient, but it never had what I need! And it feels untidy and gloomy. The staff is hit or miss helpful, once you get one to assist you. It’s a mess in my opinion. I wish I had good things to say, but I don’t shop there for pens and composition notebooks. I’m a grown woman with more sophisticated needs. I need a Staples that knows how to treat me right. Give me options, so I keep going back. Make me feel special, pay attention to me, and most of all have guest books, white glossy paper and invitations in stock when I need it! And don’t act like you know what you’re talking about when it’s clear you have no idea. Ugh. Go here if you need scholar lined three hole sheets for your kid. Otherwise, go to the staples on pompton ave in cedar grove. It’s only 5 minutes north.

Although I continue leaving scathing reviews, like the one I left four years ago for this store, the store never improves and the service remains bad. I continue to shop here because it is in close proximity to other places where I shop and, after all, a Staples is a Staples. I will continue to be a Staples shopper, however this store is an abysmal example of what the corporation stands for. I have been in hundreds of Staples in my career and this is certainly among the five or 10 worst. Do not drive out of your way to buy anything here. Stop in if you’re in the neighborhood and you need something from an office supply store (although they likely won’t have exactly what you need).

Convenient enough for getting my ink cartridge refills. It carries the air of depression that permeates the entire strip mall — seemingly frozen in a bizarre time warp circa 1984. Major drawback — the pointless display of electronic Android tablets and e-​readers. There is no wi fi to explore them on… those that even have power. The store employees have no inclination to help aid or assist, and they are not at all familiar with the mobile space, the hardware or anything of the likes.

They don’t always have what I need here. When they are not busy, they are very helpful. I avoid this store at all cost during back to school. The lines are rediculously long and they only have 3 registers!
