A small, clean place, couple of tables available. Had a grilled pork sandwich, delicious! They have some to go foods available also, apparently the chicken and rice is really good. Service is slow but the sandwich is well worth it. Cash only! In the same plaza, there is also a Vietnamese grocery store that is pretty good.

There are few truly authentic Vietnamese restaurants in the South Florida area so this place is honestly a rare gem. For banh mi sandwiches, this place is amazing. It reminds me of similar places in San Jose and Westminister in California(where there are very large Vietnamese communities). The place sells amazingly authentic Viet food, and the restaurant has a family-run type of atmosphere. Would definitely recommend any time you’re craving real Vietnamese food.

I am a really big fan of good and authentic Phở. I drove all the way north to try out Pho16, but it was a Wednesday and they were closed. As I was making the drive back south on Military Trail I caught a glimpse of this little place tucked in a corner of shopping plaza that also has my other favorite Chinese restaurant. So I pulled in and took my culinary adventure inside. So happy that I did! As described by others, this small place is really quaint. The little older lady is sweet and welcoming. I ordered the spicy beef Phở which took a little bit of time, but was very worth it. Make sure to eat the soup there rather than take it home to reheat later. If you know your Phở, then you know that it must be eaten pipping HOT! If you like your Phở spicy and very home made, this place is top notch! I also ordered the Banh Mi to go and it was delicious as my dinner and breakfast for the next day. Bring CASH, since this place is CASHONLY. I will be trying other things on the menu very soon. All the different sandwiches and the pickles in the refrigerator look perfect to grab and go during the summer when most of us don’t want to cook due to the Florida heat. This place is a Winner!

I’m a huge fan of of Vietnamese sandwiches so this place was a must for me. The only thing I wish was that they would be opened on Tuesday because being in the restaurant industry we only have the week days off. When you do go your greeted by a much older Vietnamese woman, when ordering there is a language barrier.

Great hole in the wall, and friendly owner/chef. sandwiches are great and so are different Vietnamese delicatessen not available elsewhere. Fresh sugar cane juice is a must in this hot and muggy weather, and her homemade sausages are also exceptional. Finally, the price is better than most other sitdown restaurants because this is aimed at takeout guests.

The flavor of the sandwich was great with all the fresh veggies. They are easy to miss but worth the stop

So far ive tried the combo sub but they also have all sorts of SE Asian desserts and rice noodle dishes. My next visit im going to try the Banh Xeo. Typical foods you would find on a road side cart in SE Asia. Cute place and the lil lady that works it is sooo sweet. I urge people that are in the area come try this out.. Your Welcomed!

This eatery is basically a little hole in the wall, with a cute little lady behind the counter who is very busy preparing food. It’s cash only so be ready if you want to get a meal here. Everything is very cheap and you can get lots of food for a small price. I have to admit some of the dishes in the refrigerated case scared me a bit. I saw a lot of nasty bits floating around in some containers that my have been delicious but I guess I’ll never know because I didn’t have the courage. I’m what you’d call a semi-adventurous eater, I’ll eat snails and alligator but not chicken feet or pig’s feet. Maybe it’s the appearance. Call me ignorant, or maybe I just have to try it once and I’ll be hooked, who knows… Anyhow, they have a nice selection of banh mi sandwiches, but there were some ready made dishes on display on the counter and they looked good enough that I decided to buy three of them. I wasn’t thrilled at the fact that they weren’t refrigerated, especially the chicken, but the lady behind the counter said she just put them out. For fourteen dollars I got enough food for 2 – 3 meals. First up were the banh beo –steamed rice cakes. This was my least favorite of the three. The texture was a bit on the gooey side and they didn’t taste too fresh — there was a slight fishiness to them and I couldn’t eat more than a bite. Next was the banh cuon — the steamed rice flour roll. I love this stuff — whether it’s prepared as a dim sum dish stuffed with pork or shrimp or just straight up with soy sauce — this slippery, starchy, carboy noodle dish was right up my alley and with a little bit of the accompanying fish sauce I was in heaven. Last, I got the lemongrass chicken with a side of sticky rice. The chicken was tasty, moist and well-seasoned but the rice really stole the show — it was flavorful and wonderfully glutinous. I could have eaten a pot full of the stuff, so glad I don’t live close by! So if you’re in the area, give this place a try. It’s a nice change of pace from the usual sandwich and salad lunch options in the same strip mall.

I came here for lunch with a coworker and we were both blown away by the delicious sandwiches(#3 and 5) and how reasonably priced they were! I wish I knew more about Vietnamese food, because there were lots of items on the counter and in the fridge that looked interesting and vaguely good but I had no way to tell what they were! I’ll definitely be back, and hopefully next time I’ll have the courage to ask more questions!

I took away a star because, they changed the recipe for the grilled pork. The old recipe was better. I think it should be 3.5 stars. It almost tastes like the BBQ pork that you get from Chinese take-out places. The pricing for the sandwiches are still good though, and I like their prepared food to-go boxes.

I have only had Vietnamese food once before dining here and I have never had a Bahn Mi before. My friend loves it so I figured I would give it a try. I went in there to see what they had and I ran into a very friendly Vietnamese man who offered me advice what to get. I got the combo Bahn Mi. It had was good. It was very different from anything that I have ever had. It was a very pleasant experience. The sandwich was only $ 3.50! They also had other delicious looking food lined up for purchase. I would go back. They only accept cash and there is a bank in the adjacent parking lot.

I was really excited when this place opened. The asian community here in south FL is not as large as in some other areas, where vietnamese to-go places like these are more common. This place has a pretty decent selection of foods. I’ve only gotten the sandwiches here as well as a couple of other items, which have all been good. They have a decent selection of prepared foods such as spring rolls, chicken & rice, banh cuon(rice rolls), chao(congee), and a variety of vietnamese desserts. The sandwiches are pretty good, especially the grilled pork one. I give this place 3 stars because sometimes it seems as though they don’t toast the sandwiches enough and the meat is still a little cold. Also because I guess my standards are a little high for these types of places since I grew up in an area with a very large vietnamese population. There are 2 small tables where you can eat inside, but most people just take it home. Everything here is very inexpensive, but just make sure you bring cash.

I’m a huge fan of food places like these in Cities like Orlando, Atlanta, San Jose, and Tampa. They’re bakery/deli type of shop. I was very excited to find this hidden gem 2 months ago. It’s next to Subway off of Military Trl & Community. Banh Cuon Tan Dinh is run by this sweet older lady. I think she makes all the food herself and maybe has a helper here and there. Like the previous reviewer mention, all the things are cheap and CASHONLY. The Banh Mi are $ 3.50 each. It comes loaded with meat and veggies. They even offered a variety of stuffing to select from. They also have a fridge full of sweet CHE(desserts). Not to mention all the prepared food they have on the counter. I really enjoy the Banh Bot Loc which, is steam tapioca flour with sauteed pork and shrimp. They also offer Chao Long which is congee. Recently, They started to offer fresh sugar cane drink. At $ 4.00 a cup it is a better deal than what I get at the Saturday Green Market. I highly recommend this place. They deserve some love from the community. I hope they stay open so I can get good Banh Mi in the WPB area.
