Absolutely loved every cupcake I sampled! From red velvet to carrot cake to the strawberry with rum frosting, everything was super moist & incredible. Great friendly staff too

We stopped by looking for an afternoon snack and were very pleased with our decision.

I wish I could give a better review because the proprietor is so sweet (no pun intended). However, I’ve tried their cupcakes on two occasions and both times I’ve been left wanting. The first time, the cupcake was undercooked. This time, the icing was fantastic but the cake was too moist/​dense. I like my cupcakes light and airy and that was not the case here. I’ve only tried one flavor, vanilla, but my friend who tried the red velvet said the same thing.

Sooooo good! And cheap! Who would think this bakery right on Clematis St. in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach would offer such amazing cookies and brownies and cupcakes and sweets of every kind for so cheap. Keep doing what you’re doing. I always go back when I am in West Palm Beach.

Great place. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. They have a huge variety of cupcakes & other sweets. They are all delicious but my fav’s are the turtle (super chocolatey) & the pistachio. My wife’s a big fan of their mini-​key lime pies. It’s also in a convenient location near downtown WPB & also next to a good coffee place. Their hours are convenient for people who want to pick up sweets after work, too.

I have found my new cupcake nirvana. These cupcakes, unlike that «other» place that appears to have finally closed down, are moist, flavorful, frosting isn’t too sweet awesome variety and more reasonable prices. I tried the pumpkin, banana cream, peanut butter and butter pecan and ALL were amazing! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is that there is too much frosting to cupcake ratio — I end up having to scrape half off and toss it. But if that is the only problem? They rock! My husband had a brownie, said the cake was good but wishes it didn’t have frosting on it — there wasn’t an option for a more traditional one.

this place has really rich cakes and cupcakes. I love them because they are moist and full of taste. They offer a variety of flavors for their cupcakes. It’s not a chocolate or vanilla kind of place, it’s red velvet, nutella, carrot cake, etc.

My husband is obsessed with the mini pies, especially the pecan, but also the coconut. He likes the proportions of the ingredients and that they aren’t too sweet. I particularly liked the cannoli. The chocolate cupcake was also good. Moist and VERY rich.

Excellent baked goods and friendly customer service. I enjoy the lemon squares and the coffee macarons. The owner, Mary Kay, is super friendly and answers any questions you may have.

The BEST place to get cupcakes in West Palm Beach hands down. The establishment is very clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. The cupcakes are made fresh every day so the earlier in the day you go the more of a selection you have to choose from. I have yet to purchase a flavor that I have not enjoyed! Great for parties and catered events. They are open late on the weekends if you’re looking for a late snack. Run by a lovely family. I’m glad to see a small business doing so well.

The cupcakes were very dense and had a lot of frosting. I just did not care for them particularly and I was disappointed because I had come here because I was nearby and this place was well reviewed. It was not worth going out of my way for.

I just love Café Sweets Bakery. The shop itself is super clean and very inviting and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. You will always see a smiling face when you walk in.
They bake mini pies, cakes, brownies and other pastries but the stars of the show are definitely the cupcakes. The cupcakes are SO very delicious! Not only are they moist and flavorful, they have a ton of creative flavors! (Bacon Maple cupcake, anyone?) Their chocolate cupcake with brownie chunks is easily my favorite cupcake I have ever eaten. Some chocolate cakes have a tendency to be dry and tasteless, not a problem here. Only moist, delicious, chocolate-​y goodness.
Lots of cupcakes inspired by alcoholic drinks like the Mojito, Butter Rum, and Pina Colada, and Strawberry Daiquiri (my personal favorite of that lot).
They also have a Sweet Tooth Card (Buy 10 cupcakes or pastries, get one free) which, challenge accepted, I use as an excuse to try every flavor.
Love the staff, love the goods, love Café Sweets :)

UPDATE (3÷31÷14)
I have changed my review from 5 stars to 3 stars. They have raised their prices twice within the last year. Last time I went a couple of weeks ago, it was almost $ 11 for 3 cupcakes. I can no longer rationalize the cost on a regular basis; once it crosses the $ 10 threshold, I have to seriously weigh it against Cheesecake Factory, Kilwins, Coldstone, and other dessert options.
The quality continues to be upheld and they are constantly creating new flavors, I just am sad to see the prices rise not once, but twice within 12 months. Also, due to factors clearly beyond their control, I now have to pay for parking (I used to park in the dirt lot out back, at my own risk).

Had a chance to try red velvet, a lemon bar and coffee café — all were wonderful!
Finally caught up with a tiramisu cupcake. Hate it to say it, but it was by far the most disappointing product I’ve had from there. The flavor was on the bland side and tasted nothing like tiramisu. Oh well … life goes on, I’ll stick to the 10 – 12 others that I really enjoy.
UPDATE (4÷20÷13)
We have been back several times and continue to enjoy these cupcakes on a weekly basis. Our samplings now also include:
— chocolate cannoli cupcake
— chocolate mint cupcake
— carrot cake cupcake
— chocolate cupcake with brownie
— chocolate cupcake with cookie
— almond joy
Still have yet to find one that we didn’t like. :-)
As of now, our favorite is the German chocolate.

Finally, a good cupcake shop in West Palm AND its open late (10pm on a Sat. nights)!
Wife and I split 3 cupcakes — a s’mores, a German chocolate, and a chocolate chip. They were all moist and delicious! The German chocolate was my favorite, and hers was the chocolate chip; we both agreed that the s’mores was more of an «experience,» but we wouldn’t be in a rush to get it again.
We’ll be back again. Next time we’ll try to get there a little earlier in the day, when there are even more options.

I absolutely adore this cupcake bakery. It’s a wonderful family-​owned business and I love their take on cupcakes and brownies.
Everything is delicious. But the walnut brownie will have you re-​evaluating your entire existence, wondering how you managed to get through life prior to having one. So delicious.
Excellent service, atmosphere but most importantly, the desserts are great.

This is a nice small cupcake shop home for mother daughter and grandmother. They are so sweet! Dane Cook the cupcakes every day and put them up and they have the most interesting flavors. Mojito cupcake and cookies n crème cupcakes!
I think I just found my after work snack. Great customer service, great cupcakes, and of quaint humble book.
