I’m obsessed with ice cream & you can’t go wrong with Carvel! I went here one chilly Sunday afternoon so it wasn’t busy at all, was greeted when I walked in by friendly employees. I decided to try the mint Oreo which I think said limited time only and I loved it. I got it in a cup with the chocolate crunch topping (my favorite).

We have been to this Carvel more than a few times and usually on Wednesdays dor their buy one get one deal on their Sundays. This Wednesday we got there close to closing time and we got our ice cream and went to eat it outside. They closed their doors and qe continued to hang out outside. A group of about 10 family members ranging from an 80 year old grandma to a 1 year old baby just having a fun time outside. The one young woman with the blond hair suddenly comes out and with a not very nice load voice says that «the store has been closed for over 30 minutes and that of we dont stop threatening us i will call the police». We all sat there like what the heck is her problem. We never knocked on the door or said anything to anyone. We were literally just minding our own business, watching videos, showing pictures and sharing stories. We could be load when we talk (part of our culture) but nobody was talking with, at or even about them. Then my cousin pointed out that the girl probably was upset because she had to clean outside and we were still there. Which shows the level of maturity when this girl chooses to threaten us with the police rather than just saying“excuse me guys but i need to clean this out here”. You do what you want but they’re not getting my money again. Not if that girl is there

Ice cream was excellent as would be expected at a Carvel. My favorite part is the old style building & that they only have outdoor seating.

As far as ice cream goes, Carvel can do no wrong! I really really really really really really love ice cream! You scream, I scream, we all scream for ice cream!
My most recent visit to Carvel I ordered the strawberry alongside some Nutella flavor they had and a boy was the combination intense!
They have a marshmallow swirl ice cream that is also out of this world and the rocky road is always spot on.
Even though all of these ice creams are delicious, they are very high in sugar so I wouldn’t recommend getting a large if you are sensitive to sugar as I am.
Order one scoop or too small scoops in a cup and you’re golden! I am never able to finish two scoops.
The ice cream cakes are out of control, but I think we all know that!
Carvel is a chain and therefore I shouldn’t have written a review I guess, but it’s so darn good I had to!

Stopped in with the family. The girls working were very friendly and helpful. Ice cream was good but nothing fancy just your normal ice cream shop. Prices were reasonable and nice seating outside.

Lousy, don’t advertise something of you don’t have it or if the machine is not working have a sign saying out of order so your not waiting in a long line for nothing. :(

Woohoo! This NYC gal is a happy camper whenever she sees the Carvel sign! No one does soft serve ice cream cakes like Carvel folks!

2^nd time I went to this location and been told they can’t make a product that any other carvel makes which is the cake batter carvelanche it’s stupid. They use the cake batter to make the cake mix flavor so why not for a carvelanche. The carvel down the ways from this one makes it no questions asked. Not a friendly location.

I took my two boys here for ice cream and the lady’s working were super helpful and patient with us.
They helped me pick out flavors for my picky sons ! And didn’t mind if it took a little longer then normal…
Everything tasted great and wasn’t a hole in the pocket …
Great place for kids !

I have to admit that growing up Carvel was NOT my favorite. Boy how times have changed. I love that Carvel has simple yummy ice cream. Many ice cream shops are selling crazy flavor fusions and topping bars that range from silly to strange all in the hopes that they can WOW you. Carvel just keeps it simple and lets the ice cream flavor take the lead. Usually I get a simple cone of whatever flavor I’m in the mood for but on my last visit I had their pumpkin ice cream with chocolate syrup. mmmmmmmm … Delish.
This location gets pretty busy around 7:30pm no matter what night it is. Service is always fast so don’t let the line of 20 people scare you. They have lots of tables outside but since it gets pretty packed you should be comfortable with sharing your table with a stranger or two. Hey you might even make a new friend at this cozy little ice cream parlor.
I think what I love most about this location is the nostalgic look and feel of the place. Two huge vanilla ice cream cones sit on top of the store and the sign and paint colors look like they just came out of the 50’s-60’s. It really is a blast from the past with simple flavors and friendly faces.

Take a trip back to the roaring 50’s and try this delicious ice cream place! Back when A1A was where everything happened they opened up this neat little ice cream parlor. The outside hasn’t changed, and if you squint your eyes while eating their delicious ice creams, you can see the Thunderbirds and Cadillacs roar by.
An absolute must along A1A!

I don’t know what this Carvel does that is different, but damn.

We go here WAY too much. Terrific soft serve, and terrific service. I suddenly have a craving for a vanilla malt…

Best ice cream place in town! I love the soft serve chocolate the best.

After a Comsi Comsa lunch @ Bradley’s on flagler. I was leaving the island, and the after enduring some hot humid temps. It was time for some ICE CREAM.
Got the Soft Serve COLD chocolate with sprinkles on the classic cake cone. So hot, outside, it started melting. See pic
This place has been here since the 60’s
A must stop on the Dixie hwy. nestled south of the antique shop district– which i guess is where everyone on the island gets rid of their junk.
