Golden Corral

Because my parents and I so often go to the Golden Corral in Boynton Beach, we thought we would give this location a try since we were out there. No comparison. This location is poorly run, half of the options were nearly empty or empty and the food by and large was not recent. It’s still a great deal but the Boynton Beach location is much much nicer.

Was visiting friends & decided to take them out for lunch. They live near this place but had never gone there. I think they will go now. Wife & I always go to Golden Corral when on vacatoin & this place was not as nice as some but still very good. Would go again if in the area. Too bad only have one in Massacusetts.

Found a fly in my lemon as I was drinking my water as pictured I ask the lady for the manger she didn’t tell me she contacted him till 8 min later after 20 min of waiting and after manger not showing up I decided to leave Baecause it showed my how they cared also I ask for cornbread cause I saw my friend had some they chief said they didn’t have any and it was labeled as some cosserale while in fact it is cornbread this place is horrible

Same mediocre food every day. Fried chicken, friend shrimp, fried fish, nasty mashed potatoes and sides, and prime rib and salmon with a huge line that runs out once you finally make it. After a few bites of my bland-​redundant food, I didn’t feel like wasting my calories for the day on crappy microwaved junk. I’ll pass and just go hungry until breakfast tomorrow.

Had a very bad experience with manager as i was taking my seat. Cannot comment on food because i turned around went back to the front, hot my money and spent it elsewhere, where customers are appreciated.

My last day in Florida… I’m from Canada… this place was recommended by my sisters husband. We had fun locating it, found it kinda tricky… but it was worth it. The quick service was friendly, the amount of food displayed and the variety was excellent. I saw happy faces all around me, people taking pictures to capture a good memory. This is definitely a place to eat if you want good service, excellent food and an atmosphere to enjoy with family and friends. I only wish I could’ve captured a few pics to show how satisfied I was. Until next time, I will never forget this place.

MESSAGED RECIEVED– we get it! You close at 9!!! Being a former restaurant employee, I totally understand the feeling of late, last minute customers who prolong my ability to get off and get home. But seriously, you people need to also understand that you chose this field to work in, and therefore should get used to dealing with this issue consistently. That being said~ how rude and unprofessional is it when a business or establishment of some sort makes you feel like a burden or an inconvenience? I literally walked in an hour and a half before to they close, and mind you this is a Buffett so I’m not sure why they act like they are even an actual busy restaurant, anyway, they did not hesitate to make us feel like we were assholes and reminded us of the time they close, at 9. So annoying, the management was actually egging it on. You really need to clean house here. And this is coming from a person who never writes reviews, but I felt compelled after this annoying experience.

Excellent for what it is. Golden Corral gets a lot of undeserved flak for being «cheap» and «dirty.» And that’s fine — buffets, especially Golden Corral since it has so many locations, are divisive restaurants, and one either likes them or doesn’t. It’s almost trendy to «dislike» Golden Corral, which is just a very tired opinion when the restaurant is objectively better than most other places within the same category people frequent typically with no issue. For what it’s worth, Golden Corral offers a wide variety of food — from salads to steaks and desserts — and this location serves it fresh and clean. I have gone there on multiple occasions, and would favor it over any other «fast food» type restaurant any day. I have never had issues with food quality or cleanliness. It frequently gets busy, but staff does their best to keep up and everyone is always friendly. The «breakfast for lunch and dinner» promotion, wherein they serve breakfast all day, is a great idea. They should make it permanent. Just like five-​star dining establishments have a place, so does Golden Corral, and this location is a prime example of buffet done right. Bravo.

some days you just say. ok Golden Corral… i like the breakfast more than anything and my kids of course love going there for the cotton candy and chocolate fountain.

My husband and I stopped here after dropping off one of our teens at a friend’s house in the Acreage. It was Friday night about 7:15 and very crowded but when we first came in, there was only 1 cashier. Once the folks in front of us figured out what they wanted to drink, things went much quicker for us! Food was good, nothing memorable. I did enjoy the variety of fresh vegetables. I load up on the «good stuff» before I head to some of the less healthy options, lol. Our server was very attentive as he cleared plates and filled our drinks promptly. Staff replenished food regularly and when necessary. It’s very loud in here but a good place to people-​watch. Would return.

Super cheap and great food! Turkey, burger sliders, were my favorite. Clean and tasty buffet, im from LA AND HOMETOWN BUFFET AINT GOT NOTHING ON THIS!

Food was good — Service was good. But the Ambience was HORRIFIC. And not because of loud children. but because some machine back behind the salad bar was either clearning or washing potatoes. THUMP THUMP THUMP. not just for a few minutes. but at least 15 minutes, until I just gave up and left. But not before asking for the manager. who actually tried to justify why it was ok to have food prep machinery operating SO LOUDLY that you could not even converse with your server. So now the problem is not the loud irritating machine. but the manager who thought there was a Good Enough reason to justify this dining experience-​wrecker. I won’t be back.

Food selection and fresh options are very good. This place is busy for this reason! Been to this place many time. Steak the way u want… Ribs. Soups. And a lot more.
The only negative is the restroom! They DO NOT keep it clean as most places! Just wanted to wash hands before and after consuming food! Unfortunately same experience three times!

It’s been years since I have been here. The first lunch of the new year was consumed here. When I get 3 plates of food, it really means that I eat half of it because the buffet has so much food. Salads, starches, meats, sides, desserts, bread, you name it. I’m happy I didn’t eat enough to explode. The place was jammed packed for a midafternoon visit. Maybe it was because of the holiday. Either way, I haven’t ate since the visit today and I’m sure I’ll be starving tomorrow morning. Thankfully, I wore my stretch shorts. I didn’t need any buttons popping off since it is a resolution I intend to keep this year.

This place is good! Days with ribs, steak done any way u want! Excellent selection of fresh items! Busy place means fresh food! Good selection of wings that I love! Great value too for excellent food! No need to spend $ 50 for excellent choices! :)

I have seen a nice lady dropping food and placing it back in the tray. The other time I’ve been there unattended kids touching the food and placing it back. I’m NOT eating here again, ever! I’m NOT pretentious but Waffle House is luxurious and clean in comparison. Good luck!

Had dinner this evening! My friends and I enjoy the Golden Coral in Royal Palm Beach at least once a month. The food is always good but the FRIED CHICKEN is the BEST I have ever eaten.

Some of the food is decent. A lot isn’t that great.
It’s a good place if you are really hungry, but the food should be viewed as just for filling up.
Service is good for a buffet. You can’t expect a lot from a place like Golden Corral, but it does have some areas to improve.
The best thing to eat here is the rolls and honey butter.
We came on Thanksgiving day because we ate as a family the weekend before (It was the only time everyone could get together). We got there early, but it was getting crowded quickly and I would expect a long line by 1pm or so.
The food was okay for that day, but didn’t really seem any different than any other day. The Turkey wasn’t that good at all.

During a recent visit to Florida I stopped in to this location for lunch. As I walked in the staff at the registers were very friendly and smiling. I walked into the dining area and I was overwhelmed with greatness, they had different stations set up for different types of food such as salad, seafood, dessert, meat, bakery. There was always a cook behind cooking fresh food and rotating it out instead of waiting for an item to be empty. As I walked past the servers they always greeted me and asked if I needed anything with a smile. The location was very clean including the bathrooms. I especially enjoyed seeing posters all over the restaurant for a free meal for Police, Fire & Emergency Personnel on Sept. 11^th.

If you like variety in a buffet this is a good place. I like the new addition of the chocolate fountain and the cotton candy to the dessert bar!
