It’s amazing that this patio overlooking the ocean is not packed right now! The food is really, really good, and you cannot beat the ocean breeze and beauty of Palm Beach Shores at night. Unfortunately, not everyone knows about this place, and I am hoping to spread the word. Complimentary homemade bread and hummus were brought to our table soon after we were seated outside. We then had Saganaki(Greek fried cheese) with watermelon– delicious and refreshing with the juice of the melon next to the salty fried cheese. Thinly sliced eggplant rounds served with Tzatziki sauce was also wonderful. Feta cheese covered with sesame and black olives was another appetizer we tried. Lovely to look at and eat! My sister had the Moussaka(Greek lasagna) and said it was fabulous. All this while looking at the far-off lights of boats off shore. Lights are strung up on the large patio, which is on the top floor of a small hotel. The indoor dining room décor is also very pretty, but there was no way we were going indoors. People need to know that Singer Island &PB Shores is not just Johnny Longboats or Two Drunken Goats. Try Mediterranean Taverna and you won’t be sorry!

Terrible food. Ordered the price fix menu which consisted of kebabs, salad, gyro and dessert. Kebabs — 4 of the, two chicken and two pork. Chicken smelled like it was bad. The sauce it came in was limpid. Salad was sandy — perhaps because it is close to the beach! Gyro was the worst. The meat in it, not sure what kind it was, was burnt. Not just crisp but actually tasted burnt and hurt my gums. Dessert was walnut cake and half melted ice cream of some kind. Walnut cake was inedible and stale. To add insult to all this… they automatically add 20% gratuity. What a waste of my hard earned money. I only hope I did not contract food poisoning or something worse. The worse restaurant I have been to in 2015!!!

I was staying in the area and am glad I tried this place!!! Ate there 2 nights in a row — the food was delicious — truly Greek! The hardest part was deciding what to order… have to say that I’m in love with the Feta Sousami appetizer and the Octapodi but really EVERYTHING was not only fresh but seasoned perfectly — you must try the Moussaka! And the service was great too — will make it a point to go back soon.

Hard to find. On the top floor of the old Top of the Spray bldg. under construction, parts boarded up and the ground floor greater did not know the place existed. Poorly trained wait staff could not pronounce the food. The food, shrimp, lamb, and dips was excellent. Tasty, spice, d just right, with perfect portions, But, the, comfortable seating needed cleaning, both restrooms badly needed attention, and the halls were very hot, Good food, terrific view of the ocean from the rooftop, bot not ready for prime time yet.

The Greek fries were great. We also ordered the hummus plate. The free Unilocal check in glass of wine wine was expired tasting, not in the good way. The atmosphere was gorgeous. We planned to go for brunch, as it was adjoined to our hotel and there were breakfast menus in our room. Low and behold they don’t open til 5pm. I don’t understand why they would even have a brunch menu if they aren’t open for brunchi do recommend if you are in the area you go for the amazing view and atmosphere.

We planned to have a nice evening dinner under the stars tonight, but unfortunately, the weather had a mind of its own. Regardless of the rainy night, we shared a nice meal with a friend and had a pleasant time just the same. It was our first time at this location and in hindsight, I may not have chosen the finest meal, I’ll know better if we return. My mussels looked much better than they were, although the octopus dish and watermelon salad I shared with my husband were both very tasty.

Our waiter was so friendly and engaging with our children. View is breathtaking and the breeze is a welcomed relief from the hot Florida sun. The 5 dip sampler was fantastic, my husband and I shared the Dinner Sampler for 2, and enjoyed everything on it. Would definitely return again in a future visit.

What an amazing place!!! I cant say enough good things about my experience here. I decided to visit this place after seeing it come up very highly recommended on Unilocal.I made reservation two weeks in advance. The restaurant itself is very big and when I arrived wasnt very busy [7pm], but by the time i was leavin 8:30, it was much more crowded. You wouldnt see this place existed other than a small sign outside the SEASPRAYINN. You have to go inside the inn and take the elevator to the penthouse. Where you are greated by a very nice hostess eagerly waiting to take you to your table. They let you pick which table you want. The seaspray inn has live music in their outdoor bar which is directly located in the bottom level which is part of the backdrop music of your experience. Roughly around 8pm the band stops playing and the owner of Taverna put on his own tunes. Relaxing and soothing music. Reminded me of being at the spa. If you checkin with Unilocal there is a free glass of wine offer. I ordered the octopus which was nicely mixed with some red onions and capers. The different combinations meshed well. There was a light sauce that made it extra juicy to go with the tender octopus. shrimp saganaki was the second appetizer I tried. It came in a very creamy sauce. You could see the feta that was built into the dish. This dish will go well with some breas to help soak up the gravy like dressing that will remain after you finished all the shrimps. There was Chilean Seabass on the menu but they were out so instead theygave me the halibut. It was deboned, juicy and cooked to perfection. I also got a side lemon potatoes. Parking wasnt so good on the property. But there is a back open parking lot. might be better bet. I cant wait to go back!!!

If you like traditional Greek food this is your place! We ordered the sampler for two and it was delicious. The Greek salad was loaded with feta and banana peppers giving it a slightly spicy salty perfect balance. The kabobs were seasoned well and perfect with the tzatziki sauce. The lamb was moist even though it was cooked beyond medium rare but was still delicious. The Greek lasagna was my favorite. It had a great spice to it and was very meaty. The view was the best we have had in west palm beach and the bill was the cheapest!

Going through the rundown hotel had me a little skeptical but when I got to the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere, view, and the service was great. I’d rate the food 4.5. I loved the Mykonos chill music!!! Our server Pam was awesome. It was difficult to depart that evening.

Had dinner here on the recommendation of the Marriott. Rooftop restaurant in an otherwise rundown looking hotel. Do not be fooled. The food and service were excellent, the view over the ocean is wonderful. Had the grills octopus appetizer and lobster pasta dish for dinner. The octopus was done perfectly, and the main dish was good with a fair amount of lobster. My husband had the grilled yellowfin snapper and was pleased. Our server recommended a pastry dish for dessert that was fabulous. Going back again tomorrow night.

The ocean view is incredible. I had lunch on the rooftop terrace and the food was delicious. I tried the Bifteki. Presented as a Greek burger, the lamb patty comes filled with graviera cheese served with a side of those Greek fries with feta … yum This is an authentic Mediterranean/Greek restaurant with great service

I just had an amazing meal with my family here this evening! We ordered several apps: beets were my favorite! Also the shrimp and scallop apps were phenomenal! The several dipping sauces with the pita bread was a table favorite! The view and atmosphere was perfect! Def. a hidden gem in the local area! Next time I’m in Singer Island this will be a go to for me!

It was kind of late on a Saturday night and we were looking for a place where we could take a large group(9 people). Mediterranean Taverna had room for us. It was a little bit of a challenge to find the restaurant. It is located on the top floor of an old hotel on Singer Island. Kind of a scary elevator ride up got us to the penthouse where the restaurant was located. It had both indoor and outdoor seating. The outside area is a really nice setup. It was real pretty just wish we were there before sunset to see the views. For the table, we ordered a bunch of appetizers. Each were very good. We then ordered our entrees. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My only complaint would be the portion sizes. I had one of the pasta dishes. It was very tasty but it could have been a bit bigger. We then moved on to dessert. This was not a strong point for them. Perhaps it was late. The Baklava and other desserts were just ok. They were a bit soggy and had an okay flavor. Perhaps being the end of the night had something to do with it. I would definitely come back to this place. Great ambiance and good food can make a wonderful night.

The seafood pasta was delicious, packed with flavor, salted and spiced just right. I definitely recommend! Beautiful view, very comfortable. Veggies on the swordfish kebab were spot on, very very good. swordfish itself was just good. Vegetable rice was also very solid. Would come again!

Tonight my family(a large party of 12) ate here and the positive reviews are correct. The journey TO the restaurant was odd(through a parking garage and up an old and decrepit elevator) but the restaurant itself was cute and stylish with a great atmosphere. The owner was there and making sure everything was running smoothly. When I see this I know the restaurant is being run with integrity and care. Now let’s talk about the food. With 12 people we ordered a lot of different dishes and none of us were disappointed. The saganaki was not typical lemony fried cheese but fried cheese with almonds and honey and watermelon. I thought I would be disappointed because I love the traditional kind but I loved this too! The Greek lasagna was delicious, the shrimp saganaki was terrific, the beet salad was super tasty, the tzatziki was thick and flavorful, the pita was thick and warm, the potatoes were perfectly lemony and the Greek yogurt dessert with fruit and honey and almonds was the hit of the desserts. There were so many other dishes and they were all wonderful. Highly recommended!

We had a large group that dined here during Christmas week. The service and view were terrific. Olives and pita bread arrived table side with our drinks… as a olive junkie, super nice! Had the eggplant & zucchini chips for an appetizer, very good. Unfortunately I’ve waited a little too long to write this review, so my memory of some of the entrees is hazy. The sea bass was perfectly cooked with a coconut sauce… that was light and non-coconutty :), so don’t be afraid to order it. Salmon was wonderful with a lentil hash that was delicious. Seafood pasta had a good flavor. I would go again.
