A simple place where food is good and at affordable prices. Portions are generous and service is pretty good and efficient. Souvlaki gives a better version of Greek food than many other fancier and more expensive PBC«greek» restaurants. I haven’t had anything that wasn’t pretty tasty here, so it is a place in my «go back» book.

Love Souvlaki Grill! Their food is consistently delicious. The imperturbable staff is competent & unfailingly polite. Lamb Shank is tried and true. Vegetables and salad are fresh, flavorful and presented well. I’ve never had a bad meal here. Delivery is also available and is reliable. This is a place you can bring your mom with food you can take home to mom. One of the true hidden gems in Northwood Village

This is a secret gem of a restaurant! The food is always made to order, generous portions and inexpensive. Small dining area with a friendly neighborhood vibe. Very casual with daily specials and all the usual Greek, Mediterranean selections. My favorite is a small Greek salad with a mahi skewer which is always grilled to perfection! If you like fresh, healthy Greek food try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Great little Greek place. The gyro was delicious along with the tazitki sauce. The baclava was dry. Everything that came out of the small kitchen looked very good. The pita bread was very fresh tasting also.

I would love to write a review that reflects their food. But that’s not the case here! I just ordered my lunch and didn’t realize there where two locations. Instead of canceling my order, I rushed out and hightailed it to the north wood location. Only for it to be closed… when it clearly states here that it’s open. Maybe you can understand my confusion since I called this location and spoke to someone. So I called back and asked if they were closed and she said yes. That location is closed on Sunday’s. When I asked her why she didn’t say anything, you called the belvedere location and hung up on me. So for the record. This is the second review on this restraunt that is mainly for the staff! You also need to turn off the phones when you are closed. You need to retrain your counter help!!!

Solid small Greek place. The meats were on point – the gyros were as expected and the chicken souvlaki was great. The fries were good. The fried calamari was overly rubbery, and the sauce it was paired with was a bit on the sweet side and didn’t match it as well as sauces I’ve had elsewhere. The tzatziki sauce was disappointing. The yogurt base wasn’t sour or rich enough, it could have used some garlic, and it didn’t have enough cucumber or dill. The service was good, but the overall feel I got from the place was that it needs some passion. Everything was adequate, but the staff seemed content to stay at that. In an area where there are some truly superb eats, that might not cut it.

WOW. Just Wow. I’m very pleasantly surprised! We were tossing around ideas on a Saturday night in that«I don’t know, what do YOU want to eat?» way, when I happened upon the Northwood version of Souvlaki Grill in my trusty Unilocal app. It sounded decent, so I set off for takeout, why not? I was a little taken aback by the appearance of the place(looks like… nothing) and was equally unimpressed by the interior(same), but what the heck, I was there and I didn’t feel like returning home to do the«Now What?» thing. I ordered up a couple of Souvlakis, one with rice and one with fries, and hoped for the best. The shy-but-polite guy smilingly worked his magic at the grill, while the girl behind the counter offered an extra baklava on the house. She said had too many but I call BS! She could tell I was having a crappy day and was simply being incredibly sweet. In less than five minutes flat, my order was bagged and I was on my way with a smile and great anticipation. I love an efficient establishment. OKAY! here’s the best part: the food was nothing short of amazing! A-MAZ-ING. everything was fresh, perfectly cooked, plentiful, all quite reasonably priced… what an absolute treat. We both really, really enjoyed it. We ate every single bite, rubbed our tummies and smacked our lips, and then marveled at what a find this little place in the up-and-coming-but-still-pretty-edgy neighborhood of Northwood is. Hey, the best places are always the unassuming ones, this I know because I’ve eaten in many of the most highbrow(and overrated, and stupidly bank-breaking) joints in South Florida. Take my advice: you want a great meal? Save your pretention, forget those other places. Throw on a pair of shorts, bop on down to 25th Street and savor the excellence that is Souvlaki Grill. Thank me later.

Good chicken gyro. Side salad was OK, but for the price of under $ 9 with tax great value. Next time I’m up here I’ll come back

Souvlaki Grill is the best local Greek food there is! Fresh, authentic, and traditional flavors. You have to try everything at least once! Our favorites are the grilled octopus, horiatiki salad, pork souvlaki, and Nick’s tzatziki! Live music often on Friday nights(check their Facebook page to be sure). The music and food combo makes you feel like you’re in a taverna in Greece. We also had Souvlaki Grill cater our baby girl’s baptism. Everything was so delicious, and Nick and his crew delivered above and beyond our wishes and expectations! Thank you! We also get take out from their Belvedere location often! We can’t get enough!

Heck yeah!!! The food here is delicious! I’ve tried the chicken and shrimp kabobs, Greek salad, hummus, grilled eggplant and zucchini and everything was full of flavor, fresh and scrumptious! Al is great and very accommodating. Really nice guy! Hard to find good customer service in WPB, specially with all the pretentious people who live here but think they belong in the island. LoL You can’t go wrong with Souvlaki.

Tried this place for lunch yesterday. The Gyro was a bit better than the other location on Belvedere Blvd. Good sauce, good amount of meat, french fries were not greasy. A complete plate for $ 7.50 Will def be back.

We stopped by here for dinner one night a few weeks ago(sorry, have been lazy about Unilocaling) and truth be told, my expectations were of mediocre Greek fast food. Boy was I wrong. We sat down inside as they were setting up for live music on the sidewalk, somewhat unsure of what the procedure was. Do we get waited on? Do we order ourselves? But someone nodded to us to just sit and someone came over. I ordered the braised lamb shank and he ordered the appetizer plate(I think that might have actually been what it was called as well). Wonderful olives, great-tasting hummus, good falafel, fresh feta, and the tzatziki… mmmm. My lamb was so amazing, it melted in my mouth. I’m salivating just thinking about it. And then in total fat kid fashion, we finished up with a dessert of baklava. So tasty. The service is as attentive as it can be since it’s diner-style. It’s clean, somewhat loud when the crowd comes in, but everyone wanted to make sure we were having a good time and a good meal. Even the regulars commented on the food–«prepare to be amazed». It obviously attracted the Palm Beach locals as there were a few women who walked in with purses as expensive as my car, so don’t let the neighborhood dissuade you. Overall, it was fabulous. I can’t wait to go back.

This is a diner-like atmosphere with some of the best greek food I have ever had. I had first had a large greek salad in which the lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber and feta cheese were fresh-fresh-fresh and nice dressing on the side. Then I had a traditional gyro and it was awesome!!! Again, super fresh ingredients, the perfect amount of tzaziki sauce and plenty of succulent meat. Best ever. I will be cruising to Souvlaki Grill often for the $ 4.99 greek breakfast plus cruising through the rest of the menu this summer. Any of the souvlaki(pork — chicken — lamb — beek — dolphin — Shrimp) can be had by the skewer or sandwich or platter… All of the traditional greek dishes and sides and desserts are also present on the menu! And all within a mile of my condo! Outstanding!
