This place is just not very good, which was a shame since I went out of my way to go here(only Jamaican restaurant open on Sundays). The food was mediocre. Not bad, but you can tell that they put no love into their dishes and use cheap/convenient ingredients. I had the jerk chicken which was unlike any I’ve ever had. It lacked the spice jerk chicken is usually known for. The price of the dish was reasonable though. The service was absolutely TERRIBLE. No customer service whatsoever. The girl at the counter didn’t even care to speak or acknowledge any customer, except some people she knew. She didn’t tell me the price, give me a receipt or anything, just stuck her hand out with a dumb look on her face. Definitely not a place I would recommend or return to in the future.

Second time to eat their oxtail lunch. The price is right at 8.99. I ordered oxtail with cabbage only. The serving was more than enough, it can be 2 meals. The oxtail was very tender but they did not render the fat off. There was quite a bit. The sauce was thick like gravy, it will coagulate if left out to cool. The cabbage was chopped in huge chunks, crisp. Also came with large slices of green pepper and carrots. They are less expensive than a competitor down the street but not as good. Still worth a try. They are busy during lunch. They offer many other Caribbean favorites such as Jamaican patties and jerk pork. The lady who helped me was very nice. They are located inside of the Food Town grocery store, where you can buy international foods.

Oxtail was very good. Beef stew very good. Place was empty at 7pm on Thursday. My wife did not like the jerk chicken. I liked it.

Dimly lit and humble, Negri Grill N Jerk was the perfect lunch. Had brownstew chicken with veggies and rice, with a can of Jamaican soda all for $ 6.50. Very happy I will definitely come back and try the rest of the menu.

Real deal Jamaican! We had oxtail and curried goat. Both were delicious. We moved to Texas 5 years ago. I forgot how good real Jamaican food is compared to what passes out there. Check it out!

We tried the Chicken in Brown sauce and the Fried Chicken and both were really good. We truly liked the steamed cabbage that came with both meals. The lady that took my order was friendly and helpful, I have to say the place is a little dark and oddly put together but I would definitely go back for lunch.

Stopped in for lunch with a coworker since she said they have awesome food. Place is very big and dark, not very welcoming and empty around lunch time, Everyone pretty much take their orders to go. Owner greeted us and took our orders. Owner was very polite and spoke to us about the business and how the restaurant turns into a night club at night. We both ordered from the lunch menu, the brown stew with cabbage, I really enjoyed it.

Just got into West Palm Beach and wanted to try something different. I had the Goat Soup and it was great. I also had the Oxtail with beans and rice. The oxtail a were good and the sauce that they had been cooking in was outstanding. Atmosphere is not much and the music was way too loud for an old fart like me. Overall a good experience.

Food and Service was great! We had the lunch special and the Jerk Pork was delicious and surprisingly fat free and the steamed cabbage was to die for! The ambience made me feel like I was right in Jamaica! Overall this was the best tasting Jerk I have had in a long time!

Food was terrific, large portions and authentic flavors. We ordered the jerk chicken and oxtail. Drinks? Eh. No regular sodas or juices, the drinks were kept in a refrigerator along with the full bottles of salad dressing, unusual. Customer service was lacking as we realized during our dine-in experience. We did not receive a check for our dinner, the owner just told us the amount which we thought was very strange. In addition, the owner hit on us from the moment we walked in the door and honestly, it was creepy; definitely, it was a place to take out and NOT dine-in.

Very good place!!! I had the LG Oxtail and the Jerk Pork lunch special. The oxtails came with rice and beans and I had the Jerk special($ 5.75 w’ can of soda) with The veggie side which I didn’t care much about it. it had a ginseng kind of taste to it and it did not go all that great with the cabbage. I am going back today for Oxtails :)

Average. Was in the area and wanted to try some Jamaican cuisine – so we stopped into Negril Restaurant. I ordered the brown stew chicken and my friend ordered the jerk chicken. The flavors that we were craving were not present. Both dishes were okay but nothing noteworthy.

Since my local Jamacian restaraunt closed, I have been in search of good oxtail. I have tried several other places in the area, and they wer just flavorless, and sometimes chewy. So I was very happy after trying my first oxtail from Negril Restaraunt. I had been refered by two other people, and I was not let down. The oxtail is served with cabbage, and traditional peas and rice. The portions were large, the oxtail very tender, and the sauce was flavorful with a little spicyness. Very reminicent of what you get in jamaica when you order this dish, unfortunately no spinners, they make it with broad beans. They have great lunch specials, seveal options plus a coke for uner $ 5. Worth the trip even if your not that near by. I will be back I am sure, I am going to try the jerk chicken next, I’ll let you know how it is…
