The shrimp grits were amazing… It’s a cute place… Very interesting to have a restaurant and store occupying the same space… It’s reminiscent of what I think a old time diner would look like, but done in a very tasteful way… They have a beautiful bar with great detailing… I brought my friend who is visiting from Vegas for her birthday breakfast… We sat at the bar and had a great meal.

Staff was great, they really went out of there way to make sure we were comfortable. The only problem I had was that we were a table of three and two of our meals came out cold. I ordered the grilled chicken and the other two ordered breakfast meals. The gravy on the biscuits came out cold along with the potatoes. I am willing to give it another try, but they need to work on timing the meals a little better. Grilled chicken was delicious though came out hot and the basil was a nice touch!

The look and style of this place is fun and the service was five star. Your coffee cup is never less than full. Speed is not their thing. It was 25 minutes for scrambled eggs and an omelette and they didn’t read the ticket so I got potatoes instead of a salad. Star down. The food quality was a mixed bag. The egg white omelette was thin and hard, and the spinach was sautéed in so much butter or oil that it was sliding out(I omitted the high cal glue, gruyère cheese, that they normally use.). I had asked for salad but potatoes came. They brought me a salad, which was actually quite good. The prep is very pretty and photographs well. The quality? As I had breakfast potatoes, I tried them. They were a little oil heavy for my tastes, but if you are into fats the way that Imelda Marcos was into shoes then they’re rockin’. The scrambled eggs were the consistency of silicon and came out lukewarm. The biscuit dough is reminiscent of Pillsbury biscuits, may be, with those little butter chips that the doughboy is so find of dropping into his Grands. They appear to be flash fried then put into a panini press to get the grill marks. Great concept but it would be greater with a better biscuit base that tastes less like processed food. As for speed, it wasn’t that busy so I’m not sure what they do when they’re full. When you come to eat, food quality counts. Chef needs to up their game so the meals come out hot, not overcooked and without waiting so long. This should be a five star place, with a bit more care.

I had a TERRIBLE time here for breakfast. I’m not really sure what people love so much about this place. You’re in a pharmacy with a few tables in front. I heard the waiter(a very awkward guy) tell the other table that they were out of potatoes because they weren’t delivered yet. This was literally as he was serving the rest of their meal to them. I read another review about them not having potatoes, so it seems like a norm there. I ordered a waffle, simple enough? Well apparently the waffle iron broke and I was served a «waffle/pancake.» The waiter thought this was funny. «It’s a pancake, but really a waffle.» It wasn’t a waffle. I would have really appreciated them just letting me know that the waffle iron was broke in advance, instead of after putting this blob of dough on the table for me to eat. It was awful. I wish that I took a photo to share it, but I was so appalled that I didn’t even think of it. I just really can’t believe that they felt okay serving that to me. I couldn’t wait to get the check and leave that place. I don’t think that this place will be around for all that long if they decide to serve whatever they want to people.

While in town visiting family, I decided to check out the Dispensary for breakfast. Don’t mind the naysayers, this place is pretty fab! The atmosphere is airy and open, with a soda counter down one side and the standard«pharmacy shop» items down the center and along the opposite wall. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. We were fortunate to have struck up some great conversation with one of the restaurant owners also. I don’t know what that other review was about the woman, but we didn’t have any unpleasant experiences here. The food — we only experienced breakfast, however it was nicely plated, tasty, and a bit more posh than your standard southern breakfast while still tasting great and for a very reasonable price. Between the two days we breakfasted here, we tried the biscuits with sausage gravy, waffles, and Eggs Benedict with spinach and heirloom tomatoes. It was all fantastic! The waffle is light and fluffy. The biscuits were perfect, the sausage gravy was with a twist — you’ll just have to try them! The eggs Benedict was very yummy, with just the right amount of hollandaise(i.e. not swimming), and paired with fresh fruit(my substitution) made a filing yet not heavy breakfast choice. Also the café latte was very satisfying and in a correctly sized cup! Overall we were very happy with the Dispensary, the staff, the service, and the food. I will certainly visit again if just to try more of the menu! Oh! And not to be forgotten, Gregory and Christian are awesome hosts/owners! Have a chat with them while you visit! Go here! Eat great food! You won’t be sorry you did!

At first site you may refrain but try this — its a pharmacy on one area & other side is the restaurant. Both gentleman were friendly, attentive & food was great! It did take a little long at times but the fresh food made up for it.

Came here for breakfast this morning before driving down to Miami. It was definitely different being inside a pharmacy, but technically useful as we bought stuff for our trip. There was only one server(and we were technically the only customers), but he was so friendly and attentive, we had a such a nice experience. We ordered English muffins and gravy which came with sausage(they were out of biscuits), smoked salmon eggs Benedict with fruit, and a cup of potato leek soup. Everything was delicious — seasoned perfectly and did not feel too heavy. Our coffee cups were refilled often, and our server was nice enough to brew up a new cup when our old coffee got too cold. Overall, would be back if I were ever in town again!

This was my first stop during a taste history culinary tour that I took last Saturday. At first I didn’t know what I was walking into as I saw store shelves directly in front but toward my left I was able to see the dining area. It was then when I realized this restaurant is made out to look like the old fashion pharmacies that offered ding back in the 20’s. The colors of the dining area were black, white and read, almost a checkerboard design. The dining area is small but comfortable and casual. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner: however, the kitchen closes at 5:00. Service was good although, I think they might be a little understaffed. The food that I sampled was delicious, I recommend the Mahi-Mahi Reuben and if you like spicy, the chicken tacos. To drink even though I didn’t have any, the egg cream sounds delicious. The location is beautiful too it’s located in Historic West Palm Beach with many shops and restaurants.

Quaint and lovely — The décor is nostalgic with classic soda fountain lunch counter seating, hand painted black and white checkered tables, faux cowhide rugs and lounge seating. We had the eggs Benedict with shrimp, shrimp and grits, the grilled cheese, chocolate croissant, and the best cappuccino in town. Excellent service too!!!

We saw this place had opened and could not wait to try it out, mainly because they serve breakfast all day ! It’s in a very large open space that they share with a pharmacy, sounds strange but it’s pretty cool. You step off Clematis and feel like you have gone back in time. There’s a really cool bar, and a upstairs loft. The menu did not disappoint, we had a hard time deciding but always start with the eggs Benedict when eating at a place for the first time. They were perfect !! Crispy English muffin, thick Canadian bacon, perfectly poached egg and an amazing hollandaise sauce! Can’t wait to go back and try more !! Great service also

My first visit to this new eatery on Clematis St. Biscuits and Gravy were yummy. Nice folks run the place. Love to have a restaurant serving breakfast all day. Can’t wait to try the Eggs Benedict.

We were really happy with our experience. Sam welcomed us, and explained all of the menu options. Really fresh food with great service is a combination that can’t be beat. I loved the chicken fried steak, and the omelet was great too.

This is an awesome place to eat on Clematis! They serve breakfast and lunch all day. The food was amazing and the use of the space inside this historic building was ingenious. The omelet was delicious, but the yellow tomatoes and coffee were my personal favorites of my breakfast. The price was well below what you would expect in this part of West Palm. Can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed the experience here!

Upon first walking in we were slightly confused since it’s joined with a convenience store… odd. One of the servers told us to seat ourselves and brought us a menu. We ordered an egg sandwich with the Applewood smoked bacon and a lox and schmear. The server told us that they would be served with a side salad instead of roasted potatoes«because we close at 3 and it wouldn’t make sense to make a fresh batch now since they’d go bad.» Keep in mind that this was at 11:50am so his excuse made no sense to us, especially since good food should be made to order, but we let it slide. While waiting, two more groups came in and, to our surprise, got their food. The server came up to us and stated that there was a mix-up in the kitchen, which was another insensible explanation given that we were the only customers there when we ordered and the next group didn’t come in until 10−15min later. At this point we were both fed up and our parking meter was near ending. If we had cash, we would’ve just left money for the coffee and walked out. Alas we did not, so I had to go up to the cashier and get our order canceled. They tried to get us to stay and claimed that they were packing up the food to go, but we were hangry and just wanted to leave. For all I know we could’ve dodged a bullet since the other customers seemed to have just mediocre reactions to the food. I expected more from a restaurant on Clematis St, but I guess they can’t all be winners. Next!

Great service Sam was who waited on me and recommended my meal. I ordered the grilled cheese with roasted potatoes. Fresh sourdough bread with encrusted parmesan cheese. A black cherry soda which was fresh so the taste was very refreshing. This place has an oldie goldie atmosphere red, black & white checker look with jar glasses on the table settings. This is definitely a go to place you won’t be disappointed in definitely coming back.

Absolutely amazing! We ordered 4 grilled cheese sandwiches 2 with salad 2 with roasted potatoes. The bread was a fresh sour dough with Parmesan encrusted deliciousness. The salad was mixed organic greens with an out of this world house dressing(lemon herb vinegarette). Super clean place with the best décor. I highly recommend eating here.

My new favorite spot! I’ve tried everything on the menu, not one thing I didn’t love! They are open nice & early, so I can stop in for breakfast before work. Great service. Very Clean. Food is Fresh! Love the wooden bar and décor. The staff makes you feel like you’re family, which is rare in this town :-)

It’s better than I ever imagined. Clearly the place to dine on Clematis. They serve breakfast all day! You can sit at beautiful wooden bar or there lovely dinning area where you can enjoy the view of Clematis. I park in the garage attached to the library across the street. While I get my prescriptions filled at Center city Pharmacy I dine in peace.
