This place is one of a kind! Small, quiet, and quaint with very good service. The strawberry bruschetta is by far what has me hooked!

I’ve been to the Blind Monk for both their AM Shift and their regular evening tapas. The summary is, delicious food and good service in an intimate space, will return. AM Shift: acai bowl: Your standard refreshing, delicious acai bowl made well blueberry loaf: fluffy and airy and dense and blueberry-y and delicious biscuits with honey: expensive($ 7 for two biscuits) but also the best damn biscuits I’ve ever had. The only con regarding the AM shift is that it’s a short menu, so I recommend checking it out online to make sure there’s something you’d like on it. Evening tapas: chicken liver pâté: well-executed, nice contrast with jam spread on top of ramekin cauliflower: roasted cauliflower on a cheesy cream sauce, AMAZING, the top of my «would order again» list Drinks: In addition to their excellent and diverse beer and wine selection, they offer two flavors of kombucha(ginger and hibiscus), which is perfect for those times you want to drink but just don’t want it to be alcohol. Service: I sat at the bar both times and I rarely if ever had an empty glass of water. The food also came out fairly quickly. Eat at the Blind Monk. You won’t be disappointed.

Great spot for date night. Wine is delicious and the tapas are impeccable. Loved it. Also had live music when I went so that’s a plus.

This is hands down my favorite wine bar! The atmosphere is just perfect! I would live in this place if they’d let me! Always a great crowd. Everyone that works there is super knowledge about what they serve from the wine to the cheese plates.(Which I highly recommend!) they have an adorable screen on the wall that plays movies silent in the background and at times have live music. They’ve even started breakfast/brunch! The Blind Monk is a must!

Perfect lil breakfast at an adorable lil spot in West Palm. Based on other Unilocal reviews I ordered the Acai bowl(with almond butter for an extra buck)…packed full of super foods and topped with fresh fruit, absolutely delicious and totally filling. A cold coffee brew(to which I added cream and sugar) was the perfect accompaniment. Hub ordered a breakfast plate featuring 6-minute cooked eggs, prosciutto, beautiful soft cheese, baguette and jam. Delish. The live singer/guitarist was just the cherry on top. Recommended! Tip: try to score one of the couches!

I was a little hesistant to come here, because it looked a little froufrou from the pictures, and, in my experience places like that are usually overhyped and underwhelming. But, my mother and I really enjoyed the food. It’s a little expensive for the serving sizes, but the flavors were outstanding. My mother order the bacon, egg and cheese biscuit. I took a bite, and the biscuit was light, airy and delicious. My mother ended up ordering another one it was so good. I ordered the pumpernickel toast with avocado, pea purée and herbs. It was unbelievably tasty. I say unbelievable because I’m not into herbs really. The tomaka heferviezen(not sure if I’m spelling that correctly) was great too. Overall, I’m very glad I took my mother there for Mother’s Day.

An Adorable-Elevated Breakfast Spot located in the Blind Monk Tapas Bar! One to not be missed with quick easy service or to enjoy their Upscale yet Relaxed Chic Environment! The Ambiance goes a long way with Indoor Seating, Bar Seating, and Patio Seating available! Each spot has a great amount of charm that will make you feel welcomed! Breakfast is served Daily! With Hours of Mon-Fri 7:30am-11am and Sat-Sun 9:30am-1pm! We decided to sit at their Lovely Quaint Bar which provides fast and friendly service! The Menu is limited to a few great choice of which my husband and I decided on their Cold Brew to start for Beverage which was excellent! Not needing any of the provided Cream & Sugar being a great start to our SunFest Day! With Speciality Sourced Ingredients our decisions were made swiftly with such an intriguing menu! My husband ordered the amazing Tunisian Origin Dish; Shakshouka that we had never experienced before. Basically a Egg Bake with Tomato and Fried Okra! The Okra was the best I have had not being Salty or Oily but Dried and Crispy! The Bacon & Egg Biscuit looked too good to pass up, my order arrived and tis it be true. The Bacon & Eggs Biscuit is Delectable, Fluffy, and Flavorful! Homemade Biscuit with Niman Ranch Bacon Cooked to Perfection with Minimal Raclette Cheese(per my request)! The combination of High Quality Cooked Ingredients made this simple Bacon & Egg Biscuit one of the Best that I have ever had! The Food Shines High here with such an admirable love for cooking! The Three Monks really has a great Chef that I hope to return to for their Ever So Tasty Looking Tapas Bar!

LOVELOVELOVE this place! I has a meeting on Lake Worth and took a drive to downtown Palm Beach and found the A.M. Shift through Unilocal.I’m so happy I did. I loved the feel of this place and my server was fantastic. I had the avocado toast and a baked tomato thingy(forget the funny name) with baked egg & fried okra… YUM! I also started my breakfast with the blueberry loaf, because clearly I needed to try everything! Everything and I mean everything was really delicious. I added some of the stewed tomato to my avocado toast and had a moment to myself with how good it was. Can’t wait to go back!

We really enjoyed this place. Great collection of wine and good appetisers. The biggest surprise was to open the menu card and finding a quote of Tyrion Lannister, which made our presence more delightful. Upon asking the attendant, she informed that they are also promoting Game of Thrones with a bottle of beer. However, we tried out the wine along with the cheese platter and strawberry bruschetta. It was amazing experience. I wish they had more dishes in dinner menu. Will surely try out the breakfast menu soon.

Of all the places to go in Downtown WPB, The Blind Monk is one of the coolest. A great, hip lounge that exudes a quiet, low-light ambiance; great to go on your own, with friends, or bring a date. They have a great selection of wines and craft beer from across the globe with terrific charcuterie boards and other tapas to enjoy. They play classic movies across from the bar area. There’s just such a cool vibe when you go there that you won’t want to go anywhere else for the night. A definite hot spot to check out if you’re West Palm for the first time.

Amazing brunch!!! Finally a unique and decadent brunch spot downtown west palm. The biscuits were warm and heavenly. The acai bowls are refreshing and pretty filling. The blueberry bread is fresh and isn’t too sweet. The star of our brunch was my avocado toast with pea purée, jalapeño, and pistachios. The ambience is urban but quaint. Love this little spot.

Cute little gem! I stopped here to meet with an awesome client of mine. As soon as we walked in, we were very impressed with their décor. It was hip & classy. They have a good selection of craft beers, wine, meats and cheese. They give you the option, to select from 3 or 5 meats & cheese & a condiment. We choose brie, cheddar, sausage, and fig with delicious warm bread. I was concern with their potions, but it was Perfect!!! We order the SOTTIMANOBRICDELSALTODOLCETTO d’ alba, italy, 2013, it was fantastic! Full Body and fruits! You cant go wrong! Cons: I wish they add more tapas selections, like a nice baked brie. Tips: They serve more tapa selections, in their AM shift. Make sure you look at their schedule because, they close in the middle of the day! This is a great place to catch up with friends and even meet with clients. Specially, if you go after 4PM during the week. Parking was easy to find! We parked along the side by the meters. The meters accept credit cards!

This little gem is great. It’s tiny so I may not suggest it for large parties. It’s one room and serve tapas, beer, & wine. The wine selection is great, you’re sure to find something you’ll like. Same goes for the beer. We got some food too, all of which was delicious. For our cheese plate, we got the Lille(similar to brie but creamier — this one was my fave), Don Panchego, and the Dutch Hollow. The meats we chose were the prosciutto and the calabrese(a spicy sausage). We chose the mushrooms and tomatoes for the accompaniments. It was all very good. It’s served with a warm baguette. The Lille and the calabrese were my favorites, hands down. We also got the bacon kettle corn, which was also very good. It’s a sweet popcorn with a smokey bacon undertone. We also got the ahi tuna, which while very good, we all agreed it had too much mango. You couldn’t taste the tuna at all, just the mango. The atmosphere is chill yet trendy. They project old movies onto the wall. Service was also great. Parking is on the street, we were able to get a spot right out front. Overall, great spot to grab some wine and cheese.

This brunch was the highlight of my south Florida trip! First off, the venue is so chic, but comfortable at the same time. Burlap sacks stamped with wine descriptions cover the walls and there are tables filled with corks. I had the acai bowl, which may have been the best acai bowl I have ever had. The coffee was delicious as well. My friend enjoyed the biscuits. The service was great and the whole experience was amazing! Bravo A.M. Shift!

A fun place to sit and have a variety of small plates and enjoy a glass of wine or bear. We enjoyed our order of olives, then moved on to bruschetta with cheese and strawberries which was tasty, and then had the roasted cauliflower which was out of this world. We topped the meal off with their chocolate custard which was totally decadent. Would definately go back for another fun evening.

On vacation and found this place on accident. Saw some tables and string lights outside, so we went in to check it out. They have some couches & a big movie screen. Really cool atmosphere! We relaxed on the couch, ordered a charcuterie & enjoyed some wine. It was the perfect place to end our evening. This places was one of our favorites on our vacation!

This gem scores an easy 5 Stars and is not easy to find unless of course you search on Unilocal and come across my great review! Haha Although it may seem that they specialize more in wine, surprisingly enough their food menu was beyond exceptional. My father and I came here for their«AM Shift» and left feeling satisfied and looking to return again. We started off with their refreshing mimosa that was followed by their Bacon and Egg Biscuit(which by the way was absolutely delicious and one of two of our favorites). From there we moved onto the Avocado toast topped with pea purée, charred jalapeño, greens and pistachio. Afterwards we tried the Shakshouka. I especially recommend anyone to try this dish. It was our second favorite that consisted of okra, tomato and baked eggs with a choice of pita bread to spread over. To add to all of this the customer service was a 10. Our waitress was genuine and sweet which scored more points in our book. She even gave us a fresh loaf of their blueberry bread on the house since we had to wait longer than usual. Keep in mind as well that this place does not take reservations. We most definitely will return!

The Blind Monk LOCATION Downtown West Palm Beach, on a quiet street, Evernia St. Finally WPB has started to use apps for their parking in the street, so you don’t have to worry about carrying quarters. No problem parking on this street. AMBIANCE The place is small, with an «enoteca» type of décor. It’s one of the best places in WPB to chill with a glass of wine, without loud music(or loud people). SERVICE The service is good, then again, there isn’t a full restaurant, so you won’t need much. FOOD Well, you come here mostly for wine. Good offering in the afternoon with a few selection on happy hours prices. The tempranillo for $ 7/glass is definitely worthy. They have small plates, tapas style, including charcuterie. Unfortunately quantities are really, really small and prices are pretty high. They don’t have the competition they might have in Miami, so they can do that, most of people in WPB can’t compare to anything. But I wish that the charcuterie would offer a little more(it’s really ridiculously small for $ 18.00) and a better offering. If you use mostly domestic cheeses and deli meat, you shouldn’t charge that much for that little. VALUE Honestly, the value is okay with wines, but terrible with food: overpriced, bite-size offering and again, it’s not like you are getting fresh imported Parma prosciutto or other specialties. Overall, the value is 6⁄10. Final comment Value or not, I like this place, and probably because it’s a rarity in West Palm. It’s a good place to relax, especially after work, a sort of urban wine bar we don’t see much in this area. Go, enjoy, and just remember that it’s okay for a small bite, but if you need to eat to compensate for the wine, you might want to walk somewhere else.

I have to say, I’m very sadly writing this review. I once loved going to this bar with my husband, with friends, or with out of town guests. However, my most recent visit will be my last. After enjoying a glass of wine(me) and a beer(my husband) along with a small order of chocolate, figs, and custard, we paid and left. The general manager walked all the way across the field into the lot where I was parked to accuse me of stealing a wine glass! I am appalled and completely offended. Needless to say, we did not have the glass – as a grown woman with a well paying job, I have my own. I hope it was worth it, because you’ve not only lost my business, but that of my friends who have supported you since the beginning.

I had breakfast here over a quick creative meeting and it was a great combination. Though a bit on the pricy side, the acai berry option was totally worth it. Ps: be sure to get the extra butter sauce that comes with it. Deliciousness! Go between 7:30−8am for great parking in front of the restaurant.

I have seen this place pop up in reviews frequently-and also my husband suggested it I was all in! We arrived about an hour before close and was greeted warmly by the bartender-a huge plus! Really gorgeous chill spot-perfect late night spot for meeting up with your loved one after a busy day at work. They played very mellow music which added to the ambiance. The food selection is small, but delicious my husband and I enjoyed the cheese and meat board, along with the ahi tostadas and strawberry bruschetta(#yum). I had the Riesling and my husband had the cranberry lime soda. We will definitely add this to our list of «spots»

Came in on a Saturday night after reading good Unilocal reviews. We got there a little late but Jason at the bar was very polite and helpful. We really wanted to have a small bite so we can get a chance to try this place. We were in the area for 2 days so it was difficult to try everything we heard about so we chose what we hoped were the best and indeed we had a great experience at blind monk. The wine and beer selection was fantastic and the pan con tomate even though it is a simple appetizer it was fresh and delicious. Best pan con tomate we ever had paired with good wine and beer. We had such a great experience that next day when we got ready to hit the road we thought about blind monk and decided we should go enjoy it one more time. We walked in around 5pm. We were immediately greeted by a very nice young lady, Paige. On recommendation we tried the pâté which was very peculiar but delicious. Obviously, we had pan con tomate and we were able to try a few drinks. It was an amazing afternoon with good food, nice wine, great company and Casablanca playing in the background. Delightful place with amazing staff. We are thinking to drive to West Palm just to go to one of their events which are typically on weekdays. Hopefully we can make the beer pairing dinner coming soon… If you are in town and love good wine, beer and fresh ingredients you should try this place. Amazing customer service!!! I know we will be back soon.

Really Cool little wine bar with nice décor and ambiance. We had a good time seating at a table and just drinking some wine and conversation. The tapas plates are really good too. We had a platter of 5 cheeses and a meant and all the cheese we tried were delicious. We also ordered a plate of roasted cauliflower that was amazing! i want the recipe. It was only my husband and i and we thought it would not be enough food, but it was. The wine selection is ample and interesting and they have some domestic as well as international wines. They also do beer but i do not do beer so i couldn’t tell you about that. Trendy yet Cool and quaint place for a date or a drink with friends. Good loungy music too, which i like. Nice spot. Plan to be back when i am again in WPB area.

Really nice place. Really friendly bartender. Only stopped by for a drink, so I can’t speak for the food. The place is decorated like a trendy New York City loft, and feels intimate like your best socialite friend’s apartment. They have a screen taking up a whole wall playing silent movies, nice touch. I liked that they use cloths in the bathroom to dry your hands instead of paper towels. Come meet some friends here after work if you want a laid back classy spot.

This is why I’m lovin Unilocal.Hidden gems like«The Monk» are uncovered. And I look like a hero to my gf for taking her there :) Ambiance was elegant and stylish with creativity thrown in. Not to mention a nice wine and craft beer selection. The tapas ordered by others looked tasty as well. There was a movie reflecting off the huge back wall. No sound and an action 1980s flick. They probably rotate a bunch of classics. May not seem too appealing but it really pleases the eye! A hidden gem in every sense of the word. On the dark street it is on,(Evernia St. I believe), there is no other sign of life. But don’t let that stop ya from goin in ;)
