Nothing special about this restaurant. I had the Cuban sandwich which was OK. It came with fries, the frozen blistery type. I asked for salad instead. When the salad came it was dry so I asked for some salad dressing. When I got the bill, I saw I got charged extra for the salad dressing. When I queried the waitress she said they charge extra for all toppings. I said this wasn’t a topping, it was salad dressing necessary for the salad. I won’t go back to this place again there are too many other choices in the neighborhood.

The worse food ever, I went there with family and friends and we all had bad food choices are pas con pollo no flavor at all, ceviche it was warm, almost look like it was left over from other table, fried calamary, it was fried alright, fried to the point of killing the textured of fish, the drinks … Famous mojitos don’t order them, drinks and restaurant name don’t go well, and a lot of drink people even during Family time I can say more but I will leave that for others to experience if you Dare

Came here in the late afternoon for lunch and ordered the guacamole, empanadas and a couple sangrias. Food and service were both great.

The food was delicious however, the waitress forgot to check up on us. I kept raising my hand like if i was in middle school to get her attention.

I like this place. They have some good things on the menu, but some not so great(I’m not in love with the fajitas, although my husband likes them) I feel like the food is not extremely authentic, but most items i’ve tried are still quite good nonetheless. We have always gotten Mojito pitchers. Thats my favorite part. Very good drinks! I understand at night it can get pretty crazy(fun), but I’ve never stayed past dinner. Good service.

We had outstanding service, fantastic Mojito’s and great food. Excellent Cuban sandwich, the tapas were fresh and out fast. My husband raved about his pork chops. We will be back!

I ordered the guacamole appetizer that came with corn chips and plantain chips. The plantain chips are a good idea and were tasty, but the guacamole had some type of oil pooling in the top of the bowl. Why put any oil in guacamole? It was also bland and unseasoned. I had skillet fish of the day which was tilefish. The filet was very small, I mean tiny. It was served with a very rich, gooey fingerling potato dish that was very fatty and salty. Also, the tap beer was barely cool. The pint glasses were cold but the beer was warm.

Had the Sweet Habanero Chicken Sandwich that came with a salad and fries for $ 12.50 — well worth it! Wife had the arugula and beet salad, she loved it. We came here for lunch on a Monday — very quiet and cozy. Waiter Antonio was very polite and food came out quickly. Based on the aforementioned comments I’ll give 4⁄5 stars.

Took a table outside on the mezzanine walk and enjoyed a great lunch. The guacamole platter with the crispy fried plantains slices and taco chips was a tasty start. It was soon followed by a Mojitos Salad with sliced marinated chicken breast and tangy dressing. The romaine lettuce was fresh mixed with sliced cherry tomatoes, red onions and ripe avocado slices. My wife enjoyed her spicy habanero chicken breast sandwich. The service was friendly and prompt. Given its location in the heart of City Place, it represented a good value. Next time, if I’m not the designated driver, I like to revisit those Mojitos.

Let’s start by saying how terrible the customer service is here from the entering this place to all the at to the waiter. I came where with my niece, brother and his wife. We asked to be seated in a booth but were told that we couldn’t because it was a table for 5⁄6 but literally 7 minutes later a group of 3 sat in the same table. The only people that seemed to be happy about life here are the people bringing the food and drinks. The Unilocal has a coupon for 15% yet when I asked about redeeming it they said«oh no that’s only for non happy hour times» even though it doesn’t state anything about that on our Unilocal.I’m always about giving positive reviews but this place was just insanely terrible. Don’t eat here save your money and time and take your business somewhere else. Although I love when the food comes out fast but it took 2 minutes from putting in order to get our food so obviously the food isn’t made to order. The appetizers were acceptable but whatever you do don’t order the lettuce wraps they are not type of lettuce wraps you may be thinking of when you order them and to be honest it didn’t go with anything in this tropical menu.

Really should be 2 ½, but we will go with 3. I had made a reservation for my cousin’s birthday this past Saturday. We were a party of 17. The hostess was prompt at seating us and then we waited and waited and waited. After about 15 mins no one had even come to greet us. Servers were passing by and nothing. I asked a bus boy if he could find out who our server was and I could see him asking all the servers and no one could give him an answer. Finally I got up and walked to the hostess and told her what was going on. Immediately she had one of the servers come take care of our table. Austin was a pleasant guy who made sure he took our drink and food orders right. He also was accommodating with giving us separate checks. Now onto the food. The nachos and guacamole are the way to go! The nachos are a very big portion, so plenty to share with. For our meals, I ordered the shrimp quesadilla. Let me tell ya, the are not holding back on the cheese(that makes me very happy). I also had my samples of everyone’s plates lol. The most popular plate is the churassco, which is delicious. It comes with rice and corn in the cob, definitely recommend that plate. The lomo saltado was way too salty. The calamari was rather bland and the chicharon was just ok. Now beside the sodium overload, one of my friends ordered the ropa vieja only to bite into a big piece of plastic. So of course that plate was returned and they comped that meal. I will say that they did try to correct the errors and were apologetic. Now the music! The live band really makes the place. The dance floor is just booming with people dancing. Overall, I’m not a fan because of this experience. I wouldn’t really be inclined to go back except for maybe drinks and dancing.

I recently moved to the Palm Beach area. I really enjoyed visiting this restaurant! I was here on Halloween and another occasion. Even on one of the busiest times of the year at mojitos(Halloween) the manager Joey was constantly moving about the restaurant making sure everyone was okay. I could tell he was a positive part of the restaurant. I went by mojitos recently and noticed that he no longer works there! Very bummed out. Food is good. Had truffle fries, Mac and cheese, and seafood mixto!

So we brought some family out to eat here. We’re Puerto Rican and City Place is nice so even though I’ve eaten here before and wasn’t impressed, I gave it another try. I had also heard there’s a new chef so that helped. Everything was great! We had some happy hour apps, guac, an empanada, ham and cheese croquettes and truffle fries. The fries weren’t great but we had these apps before and they were much better this time. We had a Mojito bowl, small plate ropa vieja, steak quesadilla and a Cubano. All of the food was so good. The Mojito bowl had so many layers and each one tasted great. The steak was nice tender strips of marinated meat, Spanish rice served in a fried tortilla bowl complete with sour cream, guac and melted cheese. Oh and marinated chicken too, a huge meal that could be shared. The ropa vieja was very authentic in flavor and perfect size for a small plate. Falvorful shredded meat over spanish rice, so good. The manager brought the dessert menus and said she tried all the new desserts and they were great. We had flan, tres leches and churros. Every dessert was house made, fresh and authentic in flavor and textures. This visit was far better then the last time we were here. The only issue was we were seated on the patio and the music was not working out there. The server informed us they will be launching a new menu next week so I’m excited to go back. I heard there’s more Puerto Rican dishes so I’ll be heavily critiquing those items but if they’re as authentic as the food we had, I’m ready to be impressed.

Beware of long blonde haired bartender who constantly touches her nose and hair right before she makes your mojito(with fresh fruit) with her hands… Manager interrupted us getting our check(to leave and eat at a place that looks and smells clean) to comp a shot a gentleman ordered that was not in stock. Would give zero stars if I could.

Amazing food, service and drinks. Well worth the money. The tapas are incredible. They all have a unique twist to them, that are not all Latin inspired which is awesome! The service and atmosphere were great!

Just finished watching a movie and we decided to have a Mojito before heading out. As a Cuban I have to say the original mojito was average at best. Ordered a virgin piña colada for our 4 yr old toddler — tasted ok… missing pineapple juice.

Many people in the area told me about this place. It’s Located in cityplace which is a very hip and happening little town. Live music on the streets and tons of bars, shopping and restaurants to try. The area caters to all ages. I went to Mojito for the ladies night with two girlfriends. We arrived around 8pm on a Thursday. Live music begins at 8:30. When we got there it was pretty empty. But as the time approached closer to 8:30, it started to get super busy. Since we got there early we got a seat right up front to the stage. There are four sections to this restaurant. The outside by the baranda, the inside main dinning room where I was seated(dance floor and stage was located), the left side was a huge sports bar type area with many tvs playing different sports, and the right side was and another bar area with more tvs. All areas where separated from the main dinning room. So you didn’t feel like the ambiance you were going for was being dampened on by all the music and dancing from the main room. From the menu and subsequent advertising left on the table I could see that Wednesday they offered free dance lessons, but Thursday’s was the night to be there as many people had recommended to me. We ordered the nachos and guacamole to start, two pitchers of the tropical mojitos which where absolutely refreshing. Not super strong but they did the trick. The price was also not hefty considering the place was really nice. Unilocal also offered 15% off the mojitos which was nice. 1 pitcher serves 6 glasses fairly. Between the three of us we ordered the following: small paella(yes there is a large version), the meat bowl which consisted of a taco shell with beef, chicken and pork, rice, beans, salad and covered with cheese. Reminded me of a Mexican dish, ultimately all the meats were juicy and delicious. They had their own distinct flavor despite being inside that one bowl. I suggest that meal to be share with two people. The final dish was the Churrasco. I tried it and it was tender and juicy. They also gave you a nice portion which some places tend to stiff you on the skirt steak but they did a nice job. I took w star off because parking sucks in the area and you must valet for minimum of $ 15. Also, mojitos are my favorite drink of all time and I have had better and stronger. There was lots of dancing, which included people that seemed to frequent this place. There was two main singers and they were very entertaining and had a great voice. I will definitely return next time I am in town. Everything was fantastic!

Went here to hang out and have some food before the Lana Delrey concert at the Cruzan Amphitheater. We Started with the truffle fries and the ham croquettes. My cousin was not impressed with the croquettes so only had one of the three. The fries were delicious. As mains we had the lobster quesadilla(which my daughter did not like) although I thought it was pretty good. I had the taco Tuesday all you can eat taco special and it was delicious!!! They give you 5 huge tacos to start and there was no need for any more, but the price was good for the amount of food $ 14.99 the tacos were fish, mushrooms, chicken, pork and steak. The special also includes 3 shots of tequila for $ 5. If you like tequila also a great deal. The menu also has small plates and we were within the happy hour time– from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. We had the mussels, I did not try the sauce but apparently was cooked with a vary tasty sauce. All happy hour menu items were $ 4.95

Came here recently to try out… I’m a pushover for Cuban food. But this place was more of a Latin fusion/American food spot. Located upstairs at City Place, there was no wait for a table around 7pm. We opted to sit outside so we can people watch while having dinner. We ordered some tapas and entrée items like truffle fries, fried asparagus salad, skirt steak tacos, lobster mac & cheese(this was my favorite). All the food was quite tasty and we’ll prepared. My buddy got the«Mojito burger» and he liked it very much but had to add some hot sauce to flavor it up. Service was ehhh… I think the server was new, seemed inexperienced. We didn’t need much when we got our food so it was ok with him not coming back. Sometimes when the strip on your credit/debit card isn’t the sharpest, you may want to manually enter the numbers. I think our server tried to slide my card 5+ times, so with that it freezed up my transactions so he had to ask me for another card and couldn’t run it.(I used my card an hour before dinner so I knew it was fine and I went to City Place Publix afterwards to test it and it worked, I bought some cookies). A little annoying but whatever.
