Round Table Pizza

I hate to write bad reviews if I can help it, but this Round Table needs new management. I work in West Sacramento so have been here quite a few times. The last 3 or 4 times at lunch now I have had to approach the counter to see where my pizza disappeared to… and usually after a 30+ minute wait.
Today took the cake. When I arrived with a buddy, the pizza buffet had about three slices left. We weren’t going to do that. We both ordered a personal pizza and salad bar. The salad bar had no lettuce, and several of the salad bar containers were missing or empty. We waited at our tables for about 10 minutes for them to replenish the salad bar, then got up and went to the salad bar to find… nothing had been done. Meanwhile, as we continued to wait for salad bar replenishment, I started to count how many tables were unbussed, with dirty dishes and plates. I started and counted about 8 tables. Thirty minutes passed and no pizzas. Relented and went to salad bar and scraped together the last of the spinach and minimal ingredients for my salad. Counted eleven unbussed tables at this point. Approached the counter and inquired about the pizzas, and the staff person pointed and said «they’re in the oven.» Seven minutes later, the pizzas still had not arrived at our table. Almost 40 minutes after ordering, I went to the counter and the staff person picked up our pizzas (where they had been sitting for several minutes). At least the pizza was tasty, but Round Table really needs to hire more staff or fire some existing ones. A restaurant experience should never be like this. By the way, the tables still weren’t bussed by the time we left.

Came here at lunch hour.
In terms of the buffet, the salad looked great. There was a good variety of toppings.
There was not that many pizza options, no cheese pizza (shouldn’t that be standard in the buffet?) and like a slice of the vegetarian pizza left.
I decided to skip the buffet and ended up ordering a white sauce, regular crust, olive and extra cheese personal pizza and I’ll have to say, it did not disappoint! $ 7, just the right size. It did take 20 min for them to bring out though. :/​
I’ll be back for lunch hour for the personal pan and order it on the phone ahead of time!

Wow. Came in for the lunch buffet at noon. Clerk was busy with paperwork and asked me to wait. No lettuce at salad bar, had to ask, salad toppings also all gone. Only 3 pieces of vegetarian Pizza left, had to ask for more… any thing with meat. Every table was stacked with dirty dishes, I had to clear my own place and eat looking at stacks of someone else’s dirty dishes. I could see if it was 2:00 but not noon.
I won’t be back.

I like how they let my aunty use a coupon of theirs to get us a good deal. The pizza was great and I liked the space n the many booths. The service was fast and friendly. Would prolly come by here when I’m in the area visiting my aunty. I love recommending round table cause the pizza is so good.

Overall, very disappointed with this Round Table. This review is based on our 4^th time having pizza with this location. We ordered for delivery the first 3 times. The 3^rd time was a replacement on the 2^nd pizza. We thought We would be fine dining in. We should’ve left after we waited and there was no pizza selection. When we were finally greeted by a man who was minus a personality, we asked if the buffet was over. His response was they were restocking now. It was 1pm and the buffet was over at 4pm. &19.52 and 20 minutes later we got a piece of greasy pepperoni pizza (see pic). The salad bar remained empty (no lettuce and a mess) during our 1 hour visit. An employee worked hard clearing the dining room while a female co-​worker sat watching TV. I tried to get someone’s attention at the counter, and Mr. Personality ignored me. A fellow diner shared he gave up and was eating cold/​old pizza and there was spinach left for a salad on the bar. I’m done. This is a franchise, clearly their standards are gone.

If I could give them something less than 1 star I would. Ordered our pizza for take out online. We are quoted 30 minutes. My boyfriend arrived shortly after 30 minutes, paid for our pizza and was then told that they hadn’t even started our pizza! They did not seem at all sympathetic or even try to compensate for the fact that we had to wait. Did I mention that I am writing this as I am STILL waiting for my pizza since we couldn’t get a refund and take our business elsewhere. It has been over an hour now. I hope that someone in their corporate office is reading this as I have seen several other terrible reviews regarding their poor customer from not only the cashiers, but the management staff as well.

We always go here as a family and our visit always been a pleasant. Our orders have always been right and the waiters have always been nice and welcoming.
Well today my mom wanted pizza and loves round table so we decided to go here and let me start to tell what every that went wrong.
We called before coming in and they said yeah come on we are very slow. Walking in ALL and I mean ALL the tables were dirty. So we stood and tried to order. As we are talking to the girl in the front she says there is a 2-​hr wait time and I’m like what? There’s no customers here? So I asked why and she says because we are backed up and short staffed. She apologized and she went to ask her manager and her manager decides to say it’s a 30−45minute wait actually. I was really not feeling the moment I wanted to leave but my family wanted to stay.
We ordered our food, we ordered 1 medium and 2 large pizzas original crust.
We get our pizza, first of all its not original crust but it’s skinny crust and there all mediums. Now I’m just frustrated. So I say it’s okay and we eat the pizza, after such a long wait everyone was starving.
The manager was nice enough to give us an extra pizza because of the mess up but I feel like the service was not the best.
The place was dirty we had to clean up our own tables to sit on and so did other people. I’m simply giving 3-​Stars because they realized they messed up. Taking away 2-​Stars for bad staffing and a bad customer service.

I LOVE the food. The owner is very nice! It’s right next door to my work so we’ll definitely be going there again. Customer service is great there.

If i could choose 0 stars I would. We placed an order online for delivery, the wait time was 70 minutes (which is fine). 70 minutes rolls around and the pizza is still not here so we call and they never put in our order and say itll be another hour. If this was the first time this has happened it wouldn’t be so bad but it isn’t. They will no longer receive our business, it seems like the employees can’t even do their job.

This was my choice for dinner a couple weeks ago and this was the best buffet from Round Table I’ve had to date.
This restaurant was clean and tidy, with plenty of seating. All of the salad bar ingredients were fresh and the pizza was rolling out consistently. This was the most variety of pizzas I had seen a Round Table make for the buffet in a long time! I think my favorite was the new crispy pepperoni and bacon pizza, which I was impressed was out since usually you just see the basic choices.
If I was to choose Round Table for dinner again, this location would be my first choice!

I wanted to place a delivery order and she proceeded to tell me the wait was an hour and fifteen mins

The women who didn’t state her name when taking my call rudely sighed in annoyance and hung up the phone on me! What if I wanted to come pick up my order lady!!! Then I called right back to ask for her name when she answered she obviously realized it was me again and put me on this long hold I hung up!
I order from you guys very frequently maybe once a week!
You lost a loyal customer!

This Round Table Pizza is one of the worst I have purchased pizzas from. I usually order pizzas online and have them delivered. On more than one occasion the order was either lost and never made, the wrong pizza was made, the delivery was incomplete, or the driver went to the wrong address and the pizza was cold. When I have called in the past to find out where the pizza was I have been given the run and told «they were busy.» I honestly cannot believe it takes over 2 hours to make 1 pizza and deliver it within half a mile of this establishment. I will not be placing any future orders at this establishment. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Since pizza has gotten so expensive I rely on deals or coupons to offset the cost. I live in the area and have not received a coupon from this location in a very long time. I love Round Table Pizza but will not patronize without a coupon to entice me. PLEASE bring back the coupons so I can come back.

Dickies BBQ is freaking GREAT especially Ryan, the man is stud and gave great service.

Ordered my pizza on line. Thier website sucks! So of course when I went in to pick up my online pizza order, it wasn’t even in their computer! I spoke to Marina, I explained how I ordered my pizza online. She was very nice & apologetic. She ordered my pizza. I also spoke the the owner Dave Mello he was also very nice & apologetic about the mix-​up. They offered me a drink and dinner salad for my inconvenience. When I was getting my drink the Ice Tea was terrible, watterie! So I asked Terrell for some help. He fixed me right up! By the time I got my drink and salad, my order was ready !! MARINA & TERRELL went out of their way to get my order correct! Thanks! Ingrid!

We are a business. Ordered at 9am for delivery at 12n. We had a conference and the break was from 12n to 1pm. 12:15 I called and was told that they were running late however the guy was out for delivery. 12:30 called again and was told that he should be there shortly. 1pm I called again and the lady who answered the telephone was so RUDE. She said she had 16 pizzas before us and then he should be there. I reminded her I ordered for a noon delivery. The delivery truck didn’t get here until 1:20. Pizza was cold, inedible. Round Table pizza is pricey and to be 1 ½ hours late and cold is not acceptable. We sponsor conferences weekly. We will NEVER order from Round table again.

Round Table pizza is consistently good but the pizza we splurged on tonight for delivery was cold. The driver parked like a fucking weirdo with gun n roses blaring in the background. The twists were dry so maybe a 2oz ranch sauce for dip doesn’t cut it. The only part of the order we couldn’t complain about was the free liter of soda.

Well, finally after a month of calling I got somewhere by contacting the corporate office. I received a call back from the manager, Nakisha. She was very apologetic and we worked together to find a solution (my refund). Unfortunately while processing my refund she accidentally charged me again, which was another $ 30.00 taken from my account that we had to wait for. It did get put back on my card three days later, as she promised it would, but geez.
On a side note, we ordered pizza from Pizza guys and had it delivered to Jack Rabbit Brewery this past Saturday. The pizza arrived in fifteen minutes. Each time we have ordered from Round Table it has taken at least an hour, sometimes more, and the shopping center is very close to our house.
I don’t know if we’ll order again but they did finally make it right with me, so I appreciate that.

Round Table is overpriced and garbage to start with.
But this location seem to find new ways to sink to deeper depths regarding suckage. Filthy dining room, slow to get your food done and sketchy staff make this a «pass» in my book.

Man pizza is great but the people here look so trashy makes you dont want to eat at this place .Im the only cool looking thing at this pizza spot
