Oh Streets of London, why must you make it so hard for me to love you. You are one of the few beer and booze serving eateries in West Sac, which is why it pains me so that I feel you have betrayed me. Took the fam to Streets ofter a little league game. Wife had the $ 15 dollar bruschetta chicken. Upon arrival the chicken breast was small, over cooked and appeared to be previously frozen. The dish came with some really bad looking«fresh» veggies and two pieces of bread. The dish was first delivered with none of the chopped tomatoes or basil that make up the bruschetta dish. We questioned the waitress, who really didnt understand what the dish even consisted of, and she went back to the kitchen and eventually returned with a «bowl ‘O bruschetta». And this was a $ 15 dollar entrée. I eat about anything put in front of me and I even agreed to send it back. To their credit, the manager apologized for the dish and took it off the bill. I really want to love Streets and if only they would concentrate on doing a few dishes really well instead of having some expansive menu that is half assed, I would enjoy my visits much more.

Was a regular at this location for some time based on the convenient location to our house visiting at least 1 or 2 times a week. Food was never amazing but with location being biggest factor went in with family and friends. Met with friends a few weeks back and kids wanted food trucks in Lowes parking lot. The adults wanted beers so we walked to this location and sat kids down outside. While one of the adults in our party went in to order I was approached outside by a waiter and was told we couldn’t be there due to having outside food. Understandable if we weren’t also purchasing something from their location. However I explained to the waiter that we were ordering inside and still stated that we couldn’t be there. I couldn’t believe this. We had already placed our order and still asked to leave the outside seating area. I wasn’t going to stop into your location that day the food trucks happened to bring you business that you refused. But due to that poor experience I now will no longer be visiting your location. The $ you felt you missed out on during this visit will be missed on another level. I refuse to spend another dollar in your location and have made sure to share you poor guest service and my bad experience with my friends.

Fish and salad is what I get. Extra tartar sauce of course. Mix that with some vinegar and BAM. Good to go. Portions are appropriate. Service is just grande for me. :) Maybe I’ve been too sporadic, but it would be tubular if they had their fish and chips on a rotating happy hour!

Horrible service. I am sitting here after over an hour and our sever has only stopped at our table twice. He refuses to make eye contact or pay any attention. The table next to us finished eating before we could even order and we were seated at the same time. My best friend had to get up to get us a menu even. The table on the other side put in an order for a second round of food long after we ordered and received their order before we got ours. The server was at their table more in 15 minutes to check on them than in the entire 2 hours it took for us to get our order. He would skip over our table completely and check on the two tables that flanked us. He never assured us our food was coming. He went on break and another server completed our server tho he never let us know he was passing us off. Just so bad.

Very comfortable and friendly atmosphere in this quaint pub. Food was quite good. Any of their 3 burgers can be made with a veggie patty and comes with fries, oops, I mean«chips» or they will let you substitute for a cup of soup. Mom had the meatloaf dinner, which she devoured and I think she said she was liking it a lot(it was hard to hear her with her mouth constantly full… I think she growled at me once). Her plate of tomato sauce(flavorful) covered meatloaf, mashed potatoes with beef gravy and sautéed vegetables looked delightful. My friend went with the fish and chips and we marveled at it when it arrived. I’m not used to seeing one very large piece of fish — perhaps this is the true British preparation?- but my pal said it was superb! My veggie burger was ample and very tasty. I added a little steak sauce for some extra flavoring. As this is a pub, I was not expecting great service, but found it here nonetheless. Both servers who tended to our needs were as friendly as possible(without being overbearing) and quite efficient. There is a great deal of outside space, so next time I’m in town, the weather should have warmed up sufficiently to give outdoor seating a try.

This place is just an average bar with your typical drinks. Atmosphere is ok, don’t get a strong vibe and couldnt find a reason to return.,

Been to this place a couple times now and really like it! Great beer selection, great service, I had the fish n chips which was excellent. They have a great outdoors area and a couple nice private booths we enjoyed. I will definitely be back again!

Their menu is pretty unique and tasty, but their service is on the slower side. My steak sandwich sat under the heat lamp for 8 minutes(I counted). Strong drinks!

Awesome atmosphere for friends and family to hang out & eat great food with a spectacular selection of beers from around the world! Came here to watch the UFC fight and got a perfect spot at the bar. No crowds and the waitresses quickly took to attending to my needs! Great customer service and location! Love this place!

I used to frequent this spot but haven’t been in the area for a few years. I was craving some fish n’ chips on this cold winter afternoon. And since I happen to be in the neighborhood, I thought I’d stop by. The fish n’ chips were just like I remembered them: piping hot, flaky, with no fishy aftertaste. The cod that they use is superb and clean. And the chips are actual chips you would find in England, not just fries. Staff was very friendly and my food was served fast. Only drawback: you are asked to seat yourself, which could mean you don’t arrive to a clean and ready table. Mine was wiped down as I seated myself, but better than having a table full of crumbs throughout my meal.

Came here on a wends day night… By expecting much however I was positively surprised with the current bar tenders… Both of which had great sense of humor… William sat here and cracked jokes with us for an easy hour and allowed us to have great service and a positive experience for our first time!

I have now tried this place three times and each time wasn’t the best experience. The most recent time a friend and I sat at the bar. The bartender was attentive with out first round of drinks but that was it. We ordered a full plate of the fish and chips to share. The food was hot and tasted good but we both didn’t feel well the next morning. It took a while for the bartender to notice my glass was empty and only asked if I wanted a refill because I was staring at her. That was my last time at this place. I’ll find somewhere with better service and food that doesn’t make my stomach ill the next morning.

I love this pub. Crystal the bartender brightens my day every time I see her. I literally come in to see her. Thank you Crystal for constant making my days/evenings better and full of laughter. Katie, needs to be a bartender. She knows all the drinks and makes them extremely quick. Seriously. I would buy drinks from her all day. She comes up with the greatest recipes. Seriously a those two woman are a fabulous combination. Both deserve raises. Thank you Katie and Crystal. I love you ladies.

I wish this place would stay consistent with their service. The last 2 times we’ve been back, the food is great but the service(or lack of) is terrible! We walked in today and it was dead quiet. 3 other tables full and that was it. Perfect or so we thought… We ordered bacon/cheese fries as an appetizer, Reuben sandwich and pizza. After 35 minutes we had no food. We had to walk up to the bar and ask for soda refills(not acceptable) and we asked where our fries were and we were told they forgot we wanted them first. Fries came out and the cheese was weirdly cooked. Not creamy just kinda burnt. Pizza and sandwich arrived a few minutes later and that was fine. Once again, we had to walk up to the bar and ask for a refill AGAIN! At this point, there was only one other couple here. There is no excuse for being ignored. Never once were we asked if we needed anything or if our food was ok. We even had to ask for our bill so we could get out. 1.5 hours we were there… way too much time! What we did notice was the staff were just chit chatting and having a great time while we just sat there. Another couple got up and left after 15 minutes of no service. It’s a shame the service is so sh! tty because the food here is great. Unfortunately you’ve lost our business!

I have been to Streets of London off and on for several years. I sometimes enjoy the place and sometimes I do not. Recently, I have been liking this place when its not too busy and becomes more of an intimate place for friends. Enjoy the scene without bumping into people is a good thing. I would say, overall, its a good place to hang out and have a drink or two inside or out. Recommended for a stop on a night out. Pros: Good spot to hang out Cons: Sometimes too busy Stars: 3.75

I had a recent bromance here with a high school friend, just catching up on our quarter-life crises over appetizers, drinks, and a little bit of pool. The Honey Walnut Shrimp($ 10) shut my stomach up – Hong Kong style battered shrimp tossed in a creamy sauce, topped w/sugar-coated walnuts. Also available un-battered, if you prefer. Then curiosity ordered the Scotch Egg($ 6) — a boiled egg wrapped in house-made pork sausage, rolled in panko bread crumbs, fried to a golden brown, served w/a curried aioli. It was okay. The Blue Moon made it taste better. $ 15 for an hour of pool was a bit pricey. I’d rather go to places that charge $ 1/game. That would’ve made our bill only $ 2. Regardless, it was a good time at a decent place with great company.

Heyyyy, SoLP, you got your act together! Service was notably better. I mean, a world of difference, really. Friendly, attentive, courteous. I know they aren’t new, but they have really made an effort to be better. Our food, our food was amazing! You finally came up with a tartar sauce that doesn’t taste like rancid mayo! I still don’t think you make it fresh, I hope you do, you should, but this was good. My fish was fried perfectly. Crispy on the outside and not covered in grease and the fish was flakey and light on the inside. Not too much salt, perfect. The oil was also markedly different, no stale smelling or funny colored excess oil mess. Excellent. You’re definitely getting there, SoLP. I will go back, and I think you’re well on your way to a five star review if the service and food stay on par. We’re still in that recovery stage where we have to learn to trust each other again. I think we can pull through and make a solid relationship, what do you think?

I usually try an establishment a few times before writing a review. Just to make sure I give an honest and non-bias review. Given this is the only Pub we have in West Sac I’ll give it 1 star for the friendly servers and selection of beers on tap. Yesterday I attended the St Patty’s celebration with a few friends here. We came here hoping that we can get beer food(fries/onion rings/Buffalo wings) you know the not so healthy servings along with some beers. Anyways we walked in and ordered a few Sierra Nevadas and Lagunitas IPAs and yes I get that there was an event going on but good lord 12 bucks including tip equals out to be about 15 dollars for 2 small beers. Here’s my gripe, To top it off they were not serving any other food items on their regular food menu for the night. They were only serving a corn beef hash plate that was over priced at 17 bucks. I’m going to miss you fire pit. Maybe someday we’ll meet again.

After driving 600 miles, we arrive at my friend’s house for an overnight stop. It’s time for dinner, but their kitchen is being remodeled, this was nearby and a little different, so it sounded good. PARKING: Plentiful in the shared lot for the rest of this strip mall area. SERVICE: Was quite good, happy, friendly and helpful when I had questions about the menu, as well as very attentive at first. But after we had our meals, she checked on us once, then seemed to disappear for the most part. FOOD: When I saw the Scotch egg on the menu($ 4.95) I decided I had to try it. I’d read about these but had not had the opportunity to try on until now. This is a hard-boiled egg, wrapped in pork sausage, fine chopped veggies, bread crumbs, etc, then deep fried. It was served with a mixed green salad and a mustard /mayo sauce. It had a bit of «crisp» ness to the outer«shell» but was not crunchy. The inside was softer and tasty, however there very little sausage flavor.
As my friends said the Fish & chips were quite good, so I ordered those too($ 11.95). OMG that was one BIG slab-o-fish! This thing was 2 inches square by 7 or 8 inches long, WOW! The fish was light & tender, the breading crispy and not too greasy(hey it is deep fried after all), but very good overall. I ordered the Cottage pie for pops($ 9.95). When they brought it, this wasn’t what I was expecting visually, as usually it’s completely covered with mashed potatoes, but what the hell. I tasted a little of the«gravy”(?) which had a nice flavor. Dad liked it and that’s all that matters. OVERALL: For a kinda noisy(at times) British Pub type of place, they had some tasty food, nice cold beer and decent service. That’s all that matters, right? 3.5 Stars.
