Kentucky Fried Chicken

I am not a true «fried chicken» fan which probably why I like this location. Staff is actually pretty nice and are willing to help those who are «Drive Thru» challenged. At another location I was treated as a pariah because I honestly did not understand the whole“sides” thing.
Anyway. I do not consider myself to be a food snob. Hubby loves KFC so occasionally I will surprise him. Like today when our freaking hot water heater started spewing hot water out of it’s upper parts sending nice warm water all through out our basement. It almost looks like Noah will be building something soon down there. Our cats have vacated the lower lever fearing they may be forced up a gangplank onto a ship heading towards Mount Ararat.
Back to the food. I like the way the chicken is cooked. Forced hot air/​oil with pressure. Whereas I really don’t like the chicken part of it, I do indeed like herbs and spices that make up the coating. I know, spuds are fake. Gravy tastes fake as well. Cole slaw — well, that’s a whole ‘nother story. Been trying to replicate this for years.
I don’t think this is a bad meal. Will I revisit? Probably. Did I enjoy my coating and sides? YES! I got the sides part now and I am off to help Noah with his whole dovetailing thing.

Desperation due to hungry screaming kids led me to KFC drive thru. After ordering, I pulled through to the window and waited a couple minutes before being reasked half my order. I was the only one in line so it shouldn’t have been hard to keep track. Came home to eat the worst tasting fast food ever.

KTC, thousand of restaurants all around the world that and billions selling chicken. So shouldn’t every site be able to follow a recipe? Not this one. Now a days we all can buy precooking, batter stuff at grocery stores. We all own stoves that can be set to 375 degrees and can throw the frozen chicken in for 30 minutes.
Save yourself the $ 7.70 I spend here for three chicken strips, five warm fries and a pop.
This food was no better than the frozen food I buy at Wegmans. Not crispy, and not hot out of the oven although took long enough to have been hot and crispy.
