I have been shopping TJ Maxx all over the country for years. I think they keep raising there prices. It’s really doesn’t appeal to me to pay $ 60 for a sweater. The store is ok — nothing special. Sometimes you can find some very helpful sales people. One of the ladies in the dressing was just a pleasure. Really funny. Laughing at me and my friend, as we were talking to her daughter. Teenagers seem to really like this store. They like all the Michael Kors items that are for sale. I do not see the need to pay so much for a purse, but it is cheaper than Macy’s. Parking here is crazy. People are speeding in and out. They really have no regard for other people. If you shop here, look for the items marked down. That is when you will see the best deals.

This weekend as we were on the hunt for some clothes we decided to stop in at this T.J. Maxx location. When we walked in we were surprised at how stocked and organized the store was. They had a ton of clothing for both men and women as well as a decent big and tall selection. We were able to find a ton of different items and were excited to try them out. When we went to go try on our clothing we were hassled by the employee at the dressing room which was a shame. The employee confronted me for waiting outside of the dressing room area while waiting for my partner to try on dresses. In the end, we were able to find a few outfits but would have been happier if the staff was a bit more pleasant.

I do love going to this TJ Maxx, and have purchased several outfits here. I especially adore their purse section as it seems to have more selection than other TJ Maxx or similar discount stores I’ve been to. However, the last time I visited this TJ Maxx, it was to try and find some nice leather dress shoes for my boyfriend to wear to work. Their men’s clothing section is about 1⁄10th of the store(if even) and they have NO section for men’s shoes. How is this possible? I get that their primary clientele is female, but come on! Their home good section is really tasteful and I found a ton of things that I would have loved to purchase, but didn’t fit with the design of our bungalow. They also had NO silverware… again… how? Browse and you might find some great deals, but don’t expect them to have what you’re looking for.

Not a bad TJ Maxx. The store is a good size and the home goods department is pretty big. I’ve heard stories about some questionable clientele at times but I haven’t experienced anything myself. For those who might not be familiar with the store, it’s similar to Marshall’s — a discount store that is pretty hit-or-miss. Sometimes you can find some good deals, other times not so much. Be prepared to do some digging, especially if you’re looking for clothes. Take a peek at the home goods area — I tend to get my Lindt truffles here!
