This place is no longer Paulie’s, it is Blooming something-or-other. I don’t where they found the steak they served me or how they cooked it, but it was crazy!

Chicken franciase is to die for! I love it every time and makes it hard for me to enjoy it from any other place.

Love this place! We have come here for two scotch tastings, one paired with local beer and food, and it was awesome. The food here is great and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Definitely a place to try and fall in love with!

Not sure if this goes under the new restaurant or old, but my parents brought me here for dinner on Thanksgiving, and attempted to use the $ 50 gift certificate I bought for them last Christmas(only 11 months ago). Since the restaurant is under new ownership, they were told the gift certificate is no longer valid. I’m not sure I’ll be returning here again…

I went here with a friend last night. We really did not think that we would need reservations on a Wednesday night but we were apparently wrong. It took quite a while for one of the waiter/waitresses to address us and when one did he asked if we had a reservation, we said no and he looked at us like we were nuts. He went to «check» came back and brought us to a table. Their beer selection is pretty good. We ordered an appetizer of Spadini, which is bread stuffed in prosciutto and topped with an anchovy cream sauce, it was delish! I ordered the veal Parm with mashed potatoes and green beans as an entrée and my friend ordered thier signature fish entrée, everything was awesome except my friend ordered a side of pasta with his fish and it might just be a personal preference but it drives us mad when they bring the side of pasta in a different sauce then the entrée. A white and a red sauce? Weird. But everything was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. I docked a star for the service.

I wish I could rate the food and the service separately. While the food was quite good the service left a lot to be desired After reading other reviews it’s clear that we were not the first to experience this kind of service. Her name was even mentioned in the previous review From our first question there was an attitude(eye rolling) which we saw for most of the evening Everyone else who served us was quite pleasant We did have to ask for drinks to be refilled but other than that the food was quite good. We are generally very good tippers but tonight that was not the case and even the $ 10 we left with too much! I wish the manager had been walking around tonight because we have been happy to tell him about our experience.

For a restaurant to claim to be 5 stars, I must have made a wrong turn. The Ahi Tuna appetizer was great until I uncovered the seaweed salad. When you mix some salad greens into it to stretch it, it is not 5 star. The chopped antipasto salad would have been complete if the kitchen didn’t forget the Prosciutto, weak. The Italian Pork Chop, cooked perfectly, did not have the roasted potatoes in it. When it was brought to our servers attention, she quickly returned with a plate of Fried potatoes, would have made a great breakfast potato. 5 star? The service was poor, finished plates left on the table for 10 minutes after they were finished, because there was no wait staff in the rear dining room for 10 — 14 minutes at a time. The two busboys were about as trained as if it were their 1st day on the job, although, polite.

I haven’t had a meal there yet, but the selection of single malt scotches and premium whiskeys is impressive and delicious. Next time, food!

the server(Jenna) was horrible after she took are order she never touched are table the food was gross I ordered a prime rib that was cold when it got to the table it tasted like it was left over from the nite before and the vegetable was soggy I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone which I think is sad I went to this place after the ownership changed hand and the owner seemed like he was going to make this place good but I guess it was to much for him to handle oh well I’ll find another nice place somewhere else don’t waste your money on this place

Food was decent but overall experience was lacking. Was much better when it was Paulie Anna Rose. For a «saloon» it is sad that all beer they had on tap was disgustingly skunked. The menu isn’t huge but there are some decent dishes– the duck is also pretty good. Food is served with attitude though. Wouldn’t be back… Too many good places in the area to waste time and money here.

I’ve always enjoyed Paulie’s but I have to say I like the changes in the setting, including the expanded patio area. The hubby and I went for a nice relaxing dinner on a Sunday evening and the food was wonderful. I had an amazing salad at my first course and then the smoke trout as my meal. The hubby had a special of seafood in a red sauce and he loved it. We then shared the famous banana cream pie and as always, it was amazing! A little out of the way but worth it for a nice meal and relaxing atmosphere oh and they have live music, including Lovely Williams. He’s our favorite.
