I had the worst expeirence ever at this location and I will never return my family and I were shopping and were down the toy area and were looking see what toys to buy… my son gets a ball and throws it over to us and the rude worker comes over and says we can’t play with stuff cause not Everyone puts stuff back. So I got my purse and walked out left behind the stuff I was gonna buy… who treats a customer that way when were buying stuff and doesn’t even greet us with welcome to our store!!! That’s for ruining our family shopping expeirence to bring your company money !!!

How awesome was my experience? It’s the holidays and I know the employees are frazzled but a little customer service goes very far. I called and asked if they had a certain toy in stock, they did, I asked if they could hold it, they did. So I go to the store to retrieve the toy and guess what… They didn’t hold the toy. I told the manager who I spoke to and the manager just gave the euphemistic shoulder shrug accompanied with the deer caught in the head lights look… And said I’m sorry that person went home and we don’t have the toy. Lesson learned and time wasted. And one more thing they don’t price match. I ended up finding the toy somewhere else for 80% less then what KMart advertised.

Scary Kmart. Weird people, slow employees, and all the typical craziness one would think of when walking into a Kmart store. I called ahead to put a set of chairs on hold and when I got to the store they could Not find them. I accidentally left my credit card at this location and ended up having $ 1200.00 in fraud racked up on my credit card by the time I had it given back to me. Bigger store than Billerica, but sketchy as all get-out.

A bare-bones entryway leads into an equally empty and hollow storefront once you pass through the automatic doors. This was once a Kmart, then a Sears, now a Kmart again, but it’s a shadow of whatever it used to be. The«Little Caesars» pizzeria is gone from the front of the store(and thank goodness, it smelled like feet every time you walked through the door), and the customer service booth has shrunk down into a tiny afterthought. This place is like a ghost town. I’m lucky if I see five non-employees when I shop here. We used to shop here constantly when I was little – I can still hear«Attention Kmart Shoppers! The time is now 9:50 and we will be closing in ten minutes, please bring all final purchases to the registers» because we’d be out so late rushing to finish before the store closed. It was empty then, but that was around closing time! Now it’s empty at all times of the day. The employees most likely know it too because each one I’ve encountered either looks like they’ve had their soul drained away *or* are incredibly excited to answer ANY questions I have… probably because they are so idle and bored. Stock is pretty low. I went in looking for buttons and they didn’t sell any. I looked for smaller-sized clothing and they didn’t have any petites(and only four different tops in the juniors section altogether). All the shoes are of the Walmart variety: cheaply made, cheaply priced, and most likely unable to hold up past one season of wearing. The dressing rooms are dusty and dark. The aisles are big, wide, and empty… it’s like they don’t have enough to fill this store with. That doesn’t stop them from keeping their prices artificially high. You’d think with slow business prices would be a bit lower, but they’re actually a bit higher than other Kmart locations. Recently it was hot news around town because Adam Sandler was filming«Grown Ups 2» inside this Kmart. I guess it fit the bill for«inexpensive retail location», especially considering no one really shops here anyways… it’s not like they’d be inconveniencing customers by keeping them away. So if you enjoy paying bizarrely high prices for mediocre products, trying your clothing on among dust bunnies in the shadows, and getting the VIP treatment where you basically have the entire store to yourself, this is the place for you!

The problem with this Sears/KMart is not the merchandise. We picked out a washer/dryer stackable set at this location in advance and went to the store to place the order The commissioned salesman was unpleasant, rude, and kept pushing us to buy a more expensive washer. We stuck to our guns, and placed an order for the set to be delivered. Upon delivery, the installers(who were great) informed us that we would need to purchase some additional items for the setup of our washer/dryer, which was not mentioned to us by the sales associate, though we did ask if we had bought everything needed to set up. We should’ve asked for another associate. It could’ve saved us a lot of trouble.

I’d agree with Stormoak on the conglomo. Not sure whether to call it «Smart» or «Kears», though. We bought pots & pans at the big Sears at Burlington mall, then wanted to exchange them the next day(Easter). Luckily they were open, and processed our exchange at this branch no problem. The biggest slice of B.S. at this place, though, is the fact that everything is MOREEXPENSIVE here than at the Burlington store. Examples: a splatter guard for a wok was $ 9.99 here, and $ 7.99 at the BM. A 10-pc set of Cuisinart pots was on sale for $ 179 at BM, but here in Tewks it was $ 229! Where’s the consistency? On the positive side: it’s less crowded and chaotic than the local Wal-Mart if you need to buy fertilizer, a screwdriver, some underwear and a whisk all in the same trip.

This is now Sears, or so the sign says. The merger only made a frankenstein of the two companies. Its still kmart but now with a craftsman tool section and alot of appliances. Kmartcognito. Cheap, somewhat better merch than the old K, the plaza is big with other stores and right off 495 exit 38.
