America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

They messed up my son’s prescription twice, but today, the general manager called me. She apologized profusely and gave me free glasses. Now that’s customer service! Thank you for making it right!

Horrible service! Mainly from this extremely repulsive lady named Lupita! If you don’t like your job find something else. Second time dealing with her. The place isn’t bad, but she definitely is!

I’ve been going to America’s Best for almost 10 years now and this new location in West Valley for almost two years now, and I’ve never had an experience like the one I’ve had today. The doctor was awesome as usual super helpful and friendly. But when he walked me out to the «contact guy» who is supposed to help me with the purchase of my new contacts (usually a 10 minute process) he just stayed on his cell phone on his personal call didn’t say hi or that someone would be with me shortly. He just hung up his personal phone call got up and went to a back room. I waited probably around 10 minutes when he came back and again didn’t acknowledge me, just did something on his computer when an upset customer needed to speak with him. Anywho I sat there for 25 minutes when he came back again did something on his computer and left for the day!!! A girl named Mari came and helped me it took 5 minutes and I was finished. She was super nice, fast and friendly like my usual experiences. The guy who ignored me the whole time happens to be the CL manager named Luke. I’m definitely putting in a call to their corporate office this guy shouldn’t be managing this place, which by the way was a huge mess!

America’s worst… The staff doesn’t know much and the Manager does nothing to make you feel valued. The Dr. on staff was the best part, he was helpful and professional. He knew he was at work.
All the broad’s at the front desk have no smiles and make you pull teeth for answers.
The building is fairly new and nice and the hours of business are good.

After reading all of these reviews I was apprehensive to go. PLEASE don’t let these reviews discourage you, I had such a good experience at the WVC America’s Best I literally signed up for Unilocal so I could leave a positive review. My appt. Was today (Friday) at 540 pm. The young lady (jennifer?) @ the front desk was so pleasant. There was virtually zero wait time. The doctor was attentive and efficient. He actually identified an issue I’ve had for many years, and told me how to treat it. A nice young man assisted me in ordering my glasses and there was no sales pressure whatsoever. I took advantage of the 2 pair for $ 69.95 sale. After all was said an done I got 2 pairs of adorable glasses, with an eye exam and anti glare coating for $ 160! I would happily recommend this place to anyone who will listen!

I recently went into this location to get some glasses. The doctor and staff seemed nice. I did my exam with the doctor and at the time I was having an eye issue. I had a follow up scheduled at Moran the next day. He told me that I didn’t even need to go. I kept my appointment and sure enough it was a very severe problem for which I was seen every day that week. So I ordered two pair of glasses and I wanted one with transition lenses so I asked how much extra that would cost. I was told 80 dollars and agreed to get them on one of my glasses. I left and went home, when I looked at my bill I was charged 124 dollars instead. So I called to find out what had happened but the lady that took my order wasn’t in. The other lady I talked to said she would have her call me the following day. I did not hear from anyone that day so I called the next day. After being on hold for 15 minutes I finally talked to Tania and she couldn’t really explain why she told one price but charged me another except for saying that they start at 80 dollars. Had she told me that information before and told me the actual price I would have been fine with it but to have her tell me one price and charge another that makes me mad. Just be honest with me. I won’t be going back. I have yet to receive my glasses so we will see if the are worth it.

Ahh I was so excited that a new one was opening until i went there and the same douche Manger from the midvale store, Anthony, is now at this one which makes me give this 1 star! HE DOES NOTHING! Seriously, if you have a problem he can’t fix it and he is always right, mens egos, am I right? On top of that he gossips about you while you’re still there, which makes me even more upset. West Valley I was really rooting for you, I was. You should have left Anthony at the midvale location so we could actually have at least one decent Americas best! Epic fail on your end, on the bright side if you don’t have any issues needing to be resolved with the manger or the people working and they know what they’re doing, it seemed pretty quick as far as your wait time… probably because no one goes there cause of the manager. Or you leave faster than you came in because they are of no help.
