Dunkin’ Donuts

This has more to do with the thief (middle age, dark hair woman with glasses and wears the rubber gloves) that’s working the drive thru. It’s happened 3 times with me, once with my daughter. The last time (today at around noon) was a test. So here’s the deal: you order a cup of coffee and give her a $ 10 or $ 20. The change is a pile of ones. You better count them because it’s a good chance she swiped one and stuck it in the tip jar. When you call her on it, she takes it out of the tip jar and gives it to you, muttering some excuse. Don’t they split the tips? So does everyone there know what’s going on? Management? Just make sure if you get a bunch of ones back as change, count them. It really adds up if you’re a regular. (Ironically, I used to tip each time until this crap.)

I recently moved to West Warwick and this Dunkin is right down the hill from my apartment so I tend to stop in bright and early every morning before work. Unlike its counterparts in Johnston where I just moved from, the coffee is excellent here every time no matter who makes it, and every single person working here has been friendly. They’ve even all started to recognize me and my typical order and make it perfect each time. This isn’t a typical Dunkin, and that’s a good thing.

The coffee and customer service here is always good… I really wish they offered soy milk!!!
