At first glance, this seems to be a nice hotel. Took my shower, then proceeded to grab towel to dry off. Lo & behold, there was a long strand of hair inside folds. I could see this even w/o my glasses. A feeling of gross came over me. I proceeded to grab the 2nd towel. Another«ewwww». Again, more hair inside of folded towel. On my 3rd towel, finally one that is not showing hair on it, although I am wondering about the cleanliness of 3rd towel given the my first 2 towel experiences. Do not disturb sign was put outside the door. Staff does not honor and still came into my room.

This is my second stay at this hotel and it will be my last. I am working at the military base and need a close hotel but I would rather drive an extra 10 mins. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member and can not believe this is a Hilton property. The first night I found the last guest’s soap in the bath and on the sink basin so I had to get new soap brought up to me. The second night I found my pillows on the night stands with no pillow cases and no washcloths in the bathroom so again I had to get a delivery. The third night the fire alarm went off for the second time of the day. I also found beer bottle caps laying next to the bed. The air conditioning system doesn’t work unless someone is in the room moving around so the room is 77 degrees and very slow to cool off. The room didn’t get below 70 the whole week. The front desk never apologized or even made me feel like they cared about all of the trouble I had. I also asked for a razor which most hotels offer free if you forget but I was told I had to buy one instead. I usually love HGI but this one doesn’t deserve to carry the Hilton name. The Internet is also very slow so it was hard to work at night. The TV didn’t work on local channels and others would be off and on. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, friendly staff. The breakfast was a little pricy for what you get. They try to serve dinner but with a sports bar with-in walking distance why would you eat at a hotel. I would stay here again.

Clean room, great bed. Location was perfectly located to the highway, for easy on and off. Plus its a Hilton. :) Downside, no Starbucks close by.

This hotel has free parking, isn’t to hard to get to in terms of navigating with Google maps, and easy to see the hotel from a distance as you’re driving. There’s free wifi, a fridge, and a microwave, but there is no free breakfast. The Hilton staff were able to honor my preferences for away from ice machine and elevator. I think the main concern is that this hotel is really in the middle of nowhere. I looked out the window into a corn field. If you’re arriving late at night, good luck finding something nearby that’s good, open, and quick. If I remember correctly, the kitchen closes at 10PM. This is definitely a business hotel, but next time I will probably stay elsewhere.

HGI’s are always a great place to stay while on business travel. The Mount Holly location is nice because in addition to the restaurant/bar in the lobby, there’s a much larger sports bar in the same parking lot(The Recovery Sports Grill), in fact the side exit of the hotel opens to the front door of the place. The staff at Mount Holly have always been super friendly and go out of their way to help with any extra requests or issues. I have enjoyed extended stays there on and off during various times of the year and have always been impressed.

Nice place to stay this place seemed new, or at least newer, also there’s a sports bar right next door to the hotel as well. The staff is prompt, courteous, and attentive to needs of the the guests. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and hot tub, also it has a very nice workout facility for those who want to work off the meal they enjoyed before returning to the hotel. Also the breakfast offering in the hotel is excellent since you are not left with the usual buffet for everything which gets difficult to eat at times. I would have rated five stars, but the the walls are a little on the thin side. Also the hotel door is about two inches from the ground which makes a lot of ambient light when you are trying to turn in for the night. I would stay here again because there’s not a lot of places to stay in the area, also the hotel is in a secluded area which makes it kind of restful, just need to bring the earplugs for some nights it can get a little loud in the hotel halls and when the next door neighbor wants to turn their TV on late at night.
