Not a great first time experience at Cracker Barrel. The waiter seemed distracted and bothered by the fact that we were sitting at one of his tables; took our order said he’d be back & came back with partial order. Biscuits came when our meal was almost complete & waiter never checked on us. Another waitress noticed we needed something and helped us out. Otherwise, I have no good report for our male waiter but(April) the waitress was a joy. I’ll be staying away from Cracker Barrel in the future

The hostess and server were exceptional. It is nice when people are genuinely happy to see you. The coffee was piping hot and everything else was tasty. As always we battle over the peg game, my wife always wins. We stopped in during a storm and this pleasant experience saved our day.

I usually don’t go to this location due to the bad experiences I’ve had in the past. However, my family insisted on going here for dinner on Memorial Day. Well, I’m happy to say that I’m glad they talked me into it. The young gentleman who served as host was very prompt with seating us and quite cordial. The food was hot and fresh and our waitress, Khadedra L., was on top of her game. She was both extremely personable and efficient. There were no disappointments this visit. I may give this location a try again in the near future based on Khadedra’s exceptional customer service and the tasty meals our party of 5 enjoyed.

Waited about a hour for my food. Then comes a sandwich that’s supposed to be Chicken BLT. I got 2 Chicken fingers 2 slices of bacon on toasted white. The waitress was great but was not happy with the wait in a empty restaurant. I guess it’s just not what it was before.

Really good place to unwind and have a NICEMEAL. Food is excellent and country store is really nice. Can get noisy and crowded but well worth the visit. I go there for my holiday meals as I live alone. Just a perfect experience. Stop in.

Good breakfast and dinner. Asked about MSG and their ‘Nutritional Guide ’ didn’t not have it listed. I had basic eggs and hash browns with no seasoning as the only thing on the menu safe for me to eat. Sweetheart had the chicken sandwich and said it was decent. Walter did a good job as our server.

Not having one of these in CA, and my love for their Chicken Fried Steak and their food in general, was enough for me to stop in while visiting in NJ. This location is just like any other Cracker Barrel, adorable gift shop with unique gifts to pick up for any occasion as well as a hearty home cooked meal. The service was ok, the waiter seemed to be really confused and he fumbled the order a couple of times. He was nice, but seemed to have his mind elsewhere and not too sure about the menu. I ordered my usual, Chicken Fried Steak with the mashed taters, green beans and corn. The fried steak was cooked just right, nice crunch on the outside. However, there were a lot of tough/gristle pieces and it was really embarrassing to have to spit them into a napkin while dining with the rest of my company. The mashed potatoes were good but you needed to add your own seasoning to them or else they would be too bland. The corn was not good at all, but the luckily the green beans were. The people working in the gift shop were friendly, but they were getting some Christmas items out and it caused a ton of traffic when trying to get in and out of the place. The walkways are already small, but throw in a bunch of boxes and employees and things get crazy. This location in terms of the food and wait staff was not at all what I have experienced from other CB, which was a bummer thus the 3 stars.

Better than your average CB. Catfish for breakfast? I was skeptical, but now I crave it. Attentive staff and quick service. I’ve been here 6 – 7 times over the past few years and I’ve never been dissatisfied.

We have never had a good experience at cracker barrel. Slow service, cold food, and servers who pick and choose whom they will be nice to and or serve. It just seems that all the same issues occur, yet nothing changes. The manager at this location was so quick to blow off our complaint and even told us that she would«personally» over see our posts and make sure we ate taken care of properly. We only saw her once after that conversation. And we paid for the entire meal. No offer for anything. If there were, we would have denied it. We won’t be going to anymore Cracker Barrels.

Usually can’t go wrong with Cracker Barrel. Overall ok but the fried okra was very stale, almost inedible. Ray the server was awesome. He made sure we had plenty of drinks and biscuits. Also the store area was freezing cold. So cold in fact the cashier had to wear a poncho.

It’s a Cracker Barrel. The food is fine, the service good and the restrooms were clean. It was a nice place to stop along the route from NYC to Washington.

oh gosh Cracker Barrell has gone down hill. I use to love this place! I don’t know what happened! After I was seated at my table it took forever for a waitress to introduce themselves and to ask for our drinks. Another waitress came over to ask if we had been greeted yet by our waitress, we’re like Nope! haven’t seen anyone! So she was nice enough to get our waitress over to our table. She bought our drinks but messed up my friends drink and had to go back to fix it. Our food was not good. So disappointed in the food, my friend got fried catfish and it was so bland(she kept saying thank goodness they gave her Tardar sauce) I got pancakes and scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon. The pancakes were the only good part of the meal. The scrambled eggs were not tasty, dried out. Very sad scrambled eggs. The sausage was not good either. Yucky sausage! And bacon was too salty! to make it worse the waitress never checked up on us. We needed napkins, ketchup, refills on drinks. We also didn’t get cornbread and biscuits! We had to ask for it! We got the biscuits during our meal, not before while we were hungry and waiting for our meal. So disappointed with our dinner experience at Cracker Barrell, I will not be going back there again.

It’s a Cracker Barrel. They are all the same, and this one is just like any other. Service is good. Wait staff is very friendly and helpful. If you are in the mood for Cracker Barrel, you won’t go wrong with this one.

Have a couple hours to kill if you choose this dump! You may have to get your own coffee. The only place in the world that needs 2 hours to serve breakfast. I hate Cracker Barrell. The store is annoying. You have all this crap from China to get through to the hostess desk. I didn’t come to buy cheap garbage, I came for breakfast.

So after a long weekend of partying our tails off in Atlantic City, we decided to take a mini road trip to Cracker Barrel for some breakfast before we decided to head back home. For starters, this place is beautiful! As you walk in, theres a little shop where they have cute things like key chains, shirts, embellished notepads & also snacks! The people here are so pleasant. I honestly did not want to leave. You really get the country feel from the vibe alone. The food is amazing! I’m salivating just thinking about it. Conclusion: I want to marry this place.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, if loving a chain restaurant is wrong then I don’t wanna be right! I «LOVE» Cracker Barrel Old Country Store! I usually stop in for breakfast and then. Watch out! I usually go nutty with the store items. These are must haves: Coffee — Trust me, I likee A can of Virginia Peanuts Bag of beef Jerky Hand cream Peanut brittle Maple Syrup Pancake mix CHOCOLATE Right now you’re judging me. Even if you are, this place is for the grown and sexy. I want you to come here for breakfast. Have a «Sunrise Sampler»(You gotta get grits) After breakfast, shop for some items to bring back home. Then. Go outside and sit on a rocking chair. Burp a little. You’re feelin’ me right now aren’t you!!! Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Thank God I’m a country boy!

Im sorry but I just dont like the cracker barrel’s food. This is my second time at one of their restaurants. I ordered the same thing here that I did at the other: the old timer breakfast(I think that is the name or whatever the first choice combo breakfast is). It consisted of my eggs being cooked over medium, a SMALL side of grits, sausage link, biscuits and gravy and baked apples. I did not care for any of it. The biscuits were odd tasting and i didn’t care for the gravy. It was just really bland food overall. I honestly ate here because we were travelling through the state and I was out voted to come here. Next time that happens and we come to another CB I’ll just watch everyone else eat and save my money. On the positive side the service was great, hence the two stars instead of one.

In a review of my first time at a Cracker Barrel I said I wouldn’t return because I’d found almost nothing for a vegan to eat there. But this time my companions were hyped to see the«Old Country Store» gift shop so I went along with it. This time I found something accidentally vegan on the breakfast menu in the«Wholesome Fixin’s»(500 calories or less) section: Apple n’ Cinnamon Oatmeal Breakfast, $ 4.99: oats, apples, dried cranberries, raisins, cinnamon, vanilla, and pecans. Very tasty and satisfying, and not at all boring. I opted out of the milk and muffin that come with the oatmeal, and my waitress said my bill would be reduced by the price of the muffin, but I got no discount. The gift shop was a hoot. Gearing up for spring, they’re now stocking Easter items and retro baby clothes. If you care about buying US-made look sharp, because much of the old-timey patriotic kitsch is made in China.

Cracker Barrel was pretty busy as usual. We had a better experience than last time. Our server Ashley M. was friendly and attentive. In addition to tap water, my parents and I shared a bottle of Stewart’s Orange N Cream Soda. It usually comes with iced mugs but this time it came with regular glasses. My mom ordered the country dinner platter Grilled Chicken Tenderloin with side of Fried Apples, String Beans, and Carrots. The Grilled Chicken Tenderloin was dry. The Fried Apples was served warm and it was sugary and buttery. The string beans were tasty. The carrots were served steamed but was less tasty than usual. My dad ordered a featured dish Roast Beef dinner plate with a side of String Beans and Carrots. The beef was slow cooked, fatty, and tender. I ordered a bowl of vegetable soup. The vegetable soup was spicy and was missing croutons. I also ordered a house salad with Dijon Honey Mustard dressing and without bacon bits! The house salad consisted of spring mix, spinach, and arugula with shredded cheddar cheese, grape tomatoes, and cucumbers.

Went over the weekend with some friends and we had great service. We had a party of 8 and our waiter Cristian was wonderful! With an elaborate order and several alterations to some of our orders… Everything was correct and the food for the most part was good. Although I gave them 4 stars… I have to admit that we ordered pecan pancakes and they were not good! There was no flavor at all. Not worth the cost. All their other stuff however was good.
