Should have reviewed earlier, but had a great dinner back in February! My pomegranate martini was delicious. My seating was comfortable. I had a vegetarian option of mushroom ravioli that was great, and reheated well the next day! Hope to visit again soon.

My wife and I were celebrating our 42nd anniversary on May 26th2016. My wife unfortunately has celiac and gets extremely sick if her food is contaminated in any way. She wanted to go to P.F. Chang because they are super careful when she orders her GF meal. Robin’ Nest in Mt. Holly is 10 minutes from our home of 37 years in Springfield Twp. I convinced her to go to Robins’ as we also catered for 30 people at home for my Mother’s Memorial in April and everything was fine. Robin offers a nice selection. And honestly the food has always been excellent. I also enjoy sitting along the water. I had the Spinach Ravioli which was very good. My wife had the following; the chilled cantaloupe soup topped with whip cream, a cosmo for her drink, iced tea, and for her entrée the Gluten Free Beef Brisket. The waitress even offered my wife a free gluten free dessert to take home with her. We declined the offer as baked goods have a greater chance of cross contamination. In a very short time her stomach began to bloat and she woke up at 5am with stomach cramps. She is a teacher so her Friday was difficult to say the least. Perhaps someone could get back to us with the«trigger» that caused her stomach issue. It is Saturday night and she is still feeling the effects. We have been racking our brains to find the culprit or cause of this. Was the soup mixed in a blender that is used for other soups? Is the whip cream not gluten free that they use. Most whips we use are GF. We have friends and relatives that enjoy RN and will continue to recommend the restaurant, but my wife may have to stick with her Chinese dishes in Princeton or Marlton. For 99% of customers this is a great place, but for those with celiac, you understand how hard it is to eat out and not fear the worse.

Most amazing grilled cheese ever! Such a nice town and quant little restaurant! The French onion soup was a great substitute for clam chowder! Complimented the grilled cheese very well! Loved it!

A quaint– there’s no other word to describe it– spot that literally had me scraping food off of my plate. I had the Grownup Grilled Cheese with the Chilled Strawberry soup and the sweet and salty, hot and cold combination was absolutely perfect for a warmish, rainy day. I sat by the window and resisted the urge to inhale my food. It was a perfect meal.

This is far and away the nicest spot to eat in or around Mount Holly, especially after the High Street Grille closed. The food is quite delicious, with a fair assortment of options with alternating lunch and dinner menus. The dessert options are also scrumptious as well. My only real complaint is that, particularly during the lunch rush, the kitchen often runs out of ingredients, meaning options are scratched from the menu. The kitchen can also run slower than acceptable. Otherwise, though, the food is worth it, and the waitstaff is friendly. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. The décor is certainly unique and interesting, kind of like if an eccentric grandmother decided to open up a restaurant(there are no creepy dolls at this place, however).

Eaten there three times now. Service is always friendly. The food, for the price you pay, is very good. Cozy atmosphere, clean and quaint. Been there for Easter brunch, and a couple of lunches. Asparagus soup is great, as are their salads. So many desserts to choose from as well. I take away one star due to the coffee. Their coffee is very, very weak. I mentioned this in the two visits I asked for coffee. So please get this fixed. Thanx.

What a wonderful experience! A friend from HS recommended it on FB and it turned out to be better than expected. Service, food, and ambiance! Soup was great Salad very good Entrees of fish and ravioli were wonderful. We would definitely return. We eat in Philly regularly and this competes very strongly.

My friend Carol and I had lunch here last Saturday and the food was great. We enjoyed the sandwiches and soups. The french onion crock was very good and my cream of asparagus was rich and terrific. Thanks for the great food and l recommend this restaurant to folks. The restaurant was packed for lunch which is a good sign.

Great food, great atmosphere. Dirty utensils, dirty wine glass and dirty table. I will try this place again I guess they were busy.

Ehh. Not impressed. My boyfriends grandparents 60th wedding anniversary was held here a couple weeks ago. The location… gorgeous. We sat outside by the water and had the whole area to ourselves. We had about 30 people. The staff was great and attentive, moving chairs around and taking care of the cake. We had a fixed menu with a couple options to choose from, everything sounded delicious. The food itself was ok, not bad but nothing to write home about. HOWEVER, my boyfriend and I left hungry! We waited awhile to be fed, but we had a large group, so that could be expected. But the portions were very small and there was no salad or bread included. I ordered the quiche, which was luke warm at best and just ok? Did I mention there was no bread? His family paid a small fortune to have the party there and you can’t throw in a loaf of bread? There is no reason bread should cost extra. Enough said.

This same time last year, I stopped into The Robin’s Nest for lunch. Had the Crab Cake Lunch special. My Mother always said: if you can smell fish it is old and ready to go bad. That crab cake was awful. This was my 2nd visit there, and this was worse than the 1st. I rate the food there as less than 1 star.

Robin’s Nest food is best described as hit or miss. Depending on what you order, you will either enjoy your meal or be stunned at how lackluster the food is. Regardless of whether you like or dislike their food, the fact of the matter is that their food is unnecessarily too expensive. Hits: steak with blue cheese, chilled blueberry soup, fried goat cheese salad Misses: soggy breakfast and bland lunch sandwiches

Nice place for lunch with quirky, interesting décor. I’ve been here twice and have tried the Mahi Mahi Fish Tacos and the Apple Turkey Panini. The fish tacos were decent, but had tons of drippage and were rather messy to eat. I enjoyed the sweetness of the mango(?) spread within the turkey panini. The thin apple slices were barely detectable, however. I was ready to dismiss the pasta salad as a generic side, but it was actually quite tasty. Service was friendly, but I found the wait time for food to be longer than I would have expected/liked.

I came here with my grandparents and great aunt and uncle for dinner last night, and the food was phenomenal! My grandfather and his brother ordered the salmon stuffed with crab, my grandmother and her sister-in-law ordered the duck, and I ordered the NY strip steak. Everyone loved their meals, and the strip steak was among the best I have had. Medium-rare, it was cooked to perfection, and topped with tasty gorgonzola butter and fried onions. Served over mashed potatoes so delectable that they almost seemed like ice cream, and accompanied by steamed vegetables, it was enough for two meals! I also ordered a side salad to start, which consisted of fresh greens, carrots, and a grape tomato. And the rolls, hot and fresh, were delicious! I paired all of this with the Malbec, which hit the spot. Everyone else ordered whiskey sours to drink and after sampling some of my grandfather’s, I realized why. They were second best only to my grandfather’s! With ample indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service, and high-quality food and drink, Robin’s Nest Restaurant is truly as good as it gets!

This restaurant was highly recommended by my coworkers so I’ve been wanting to try it for some time. The restaurant has a very personable appeal, welcoming, cute, and homey. I can tell there are a good amount of regulars. I had made reservations for Sunday brunch for a party of 4 because I was informed that it can get quite busy. We were immediately greeted and seated. It wasn’t as busy as we had anticipated. The service was excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. My husband and I shared both the stuffed french toast with bacon and the Eggs Benny. The food was very good and The portion was just right.

Food was AWESOME! Wait was a lil long, but totally worth it. Came in a fairly large group without reservations, so we were expecting a small wait, so that didn’t really play a role in the ratings. I’ve only tried my husband’s corn beef sandwich with pasta salad and my spinach quiche with side salad. Normally, I would have sampled everyone’s dish, but I was so into my meals, I didn’t really care for anyone elses. My quiche was great. Very moist, had flaky crust, and very flavorful. My husband’s sandwich was AMAZING! I loved it more than mine. Perfect amount of dressing and the bread was grilled to perfection. Why the 4 stars you ask? Well, when we told them we had 8 people, I heard a few of them talk smack and giving attitudes like we were an inconvienience. You guys should go do that elsewhere and not right in the front where everyone can hear! I’m glad we didn’t get her as our server. We ended up getting this really nice gentlemen. Also, they ran out of sausage. My original orger was the sausage hash, but I had to change it to the quiche instead. :-( This is definately on my list to come back. So glad my sister took us here. I love her!
