Bob Charest Band

We were soo happy with The Bob Charest Band for our wedding. They really brought the house down and had everyone on the dance floor. We first met Bob and Cindy a year before our wedding when we were searching for a band. Not only did they invite us to see them in action at another wedding, but they also had us over for lunch at their home to discuss our story, our favorite songs, and our vision for our wedding. And when it came to wedding day — they listened to all our requests and suggestions and their song choices were perfect for our big day. They also will learn whatever first dance song you would like and do it for you. I can’t say how awesome they were and they really have become our friends over the last year. In addition — we had a lot of guests from out of town for our wedding — so many were unfamiliar with Maine and the Bob Charest Band — and we keep getting rave reviews whenever we see people. If I could give them 5+ stars I would.

If I could give the Bob Charest Band more than 5 stars I would. They are definitely as good as it gets for (in my case) wedding bands. My wife and I hired them to play our wedding reception; however, we also had the opportunity to see them play live at the Gold Room numerous times. Let me tell you in one word… AWESOME!!! They are the most talented, professional, experienced and overall nicest band I have yet to come across.
Anyone interested in having a band play their wedding need not to look any further than the Bob Charest Band. Our overall experience working with them couldn’t have gone better. Bob and Cindy are extremely generous and had us into their home a few times to discuss wedding details. I could have hired them as wedding planners based on the amount of experience and knowledge they have. They «worked» with us on planning the music from the start of the ceremony all the way through the end of the night. I say «worked» because we had an absolute blast doing it. It didn’t feel like we had «worked» what so ever. By the way, they had done up an immaculate spread of food for us upon arrival. All home cooked. Let me tell you, Cindy can not only sing her tail off but she can cook too! We left with a belly full of food and laughs!
After our wedding, we have had countless compliments on the band. Even people who absolutely hate to dance were out on the dance floor ripping it up and then later bragging to people about it. I am completely serious when I say this. They literally had people casually dancing in between their salad and entrée service. It was very impressive.
After dinner when the lights turned down and the volume was turned up… forget about it! They absolutely rock the house! Classics to current hits… they played anything and everything to keep the crowd moving.
When its all said and done If you’re not dancing at a Bob Charest Band performance you better head to the doctors and have them check for a pulse!
