Huge selection and very friendly staff. I was taken back because from the outside it looks like your typical liquor/​wine/​beer store but once you walk in it is a different world. They seem to have one of everything available in the state of CT. Overall a solid pick to pick up some drinks.

Not much has changed other than size & new paint. Dick’s still has the best beer selection in Westerly hands down.
They seem to be getting a new brewery’s offerings in all the time: Left Hand, Bruery, Shebeen. There’s always something good to find here weekly.
Ryan will definitely help you with suggestion or let you know when to expect that elusive beer to come in. I’ve ordered specialty wines before with no problem. There’s plenty of hard stuff too but I stick mostly to beer.
They’ve expanded their shelves & cooler making things more convenient. If you’re local then you probably know about them but if you’re heading to the beach stop by for the selection because it’s top notch!

The selection of wine & beer is extensive! I just moved to Rhode Island from San Diego, and I thought I was going to have to search high & low for my west coast IPAs. I was proven wrong by this place. Great choices from all over the country.

Dick’s is such a great liquor store. When I walk in and start browsing, a staff member immediately asks if them can help me. Since I’m usually in search of a new type of wine to try, this is always welcome. The staff is knowledgeable, without being pretentious, and can usually help you locate what you want in a matter of seconds.
They are also the least expensive store in the area as far as I can tell.

I love coming to Dick’s whenever I’m beaching it for the summer in Westerly. The selection is HUUUUGE for wines and beers but not so much for liquor. The store is well organized and the staff is pretty helpful. They also have a pretty good selection of mixers in store so you can get everything for your adult beverages at one stop thus eliminating the need to go to McQuade’s across the street. Dick’s even has lemons and limes at the register.
Their prices also beat the pants off of liquor stores in CT (where I live 9 – 10 months of the year). Well worth the drive from the beach area for the price and selection.
They also have wine and/​or beer tastings once a week.
