We’ve never been to IHOP at night but tonight we had eggs and pancakes for dinner. Our server Rita was very friendly efficient and a joy to have around. For a family of three, we had a total of 22 pancakes some with peach or strawberry topping. The pancake were delicious and the eggs were served as ordered. No unpleasant surprises. The«second shift» attitude was a surprise. It was warm and friendly. We’re definitely coming back.

Came into eat this afternoon and our table was dirty so the hostess asked for a rag to clean the table. Some guy throws the rag and falls on the floor, she continues to wipe our table with a dirty rag. When we asked her to get a clean one, she rudely stomped away. I work in food service. You can’t clean a table with a dirty rag. You also can give someone an attitude for NOT wanting to eat on a dirty table. Also, tried to call the store and the phone was busy. Huge disappointment.

The food here isn’t as good as first watch but it’s big and the kids love it. Big place but still a wait on weekend mornings. Coffee is decent and serving sizes are good. Waitstaff is attentive but sometimes uninterested. Better ihop than most I think.

Short Version: I’m not sure what other IHOP’s I’ve been to have been missing, but this is easily the best IHOP I’ve ever gone to. The service was fantastic and friendly, the location was clean and open, and the food was good. It’s still an IHOP, but as far as the chain goes, this is one of the best I’ve ever been to. They do offer carry-out to-go if you want to order your meal then pick it up later. Long Version: Amazing IHOP location. It’s locating in a nice, modern-looking neighborhood with a huge nearby Meijer grocery store. The building itself is easy to find, and I do imagine parking can be a pain during rush times, but I imagine people overflow-park over in the Meijer parking lot. The inside is GORGEOUS. Truly. It looks like this was very-recently built. It all has a very upstanding, regal type of feel to it. Everything was clean, restrooms were well-stocked. The booths didn’t have rips and the tables looked very clean. It was spacious and didn’t fell crowded at all. Whoever they hired to do the layout of the building did a very fantastic job. I’m impressed. When we came, the waitress was the only waitress there, and she did seem busy, but she served in a way that made it clear she still cared about our experience. She was very friendly and upfront about how she was the only one on duty, but even so, she refilled drinks promptly and took care of the check and everything with ease. When some of my chocolate chips fell off of my plate while she was serving it, she even went into the kitchen and got a small cup of chocolate chips that I could pour on my pancakes to make up for it! Fantastic, fantastic service. Food itself tasted like IHOP. Good IHOP, but IHOP none-the-less. Better than a lot of the versions that I’ve tasted from other IHOPs. Great IHOP. Would definitely visit again.

The service was horrible and it took us 30 min roger seated so I was thinking this place is great because they are so busy the it took us a hour to get all of our food and it was less then good. First and last time in. Bob Evans is killing you. I will never recommend this place. Sorry just being honest

IHOP is always good for convenience and choice between breakfast and lunch food. I went recently and had a good order of banana pancakes, french toast, and bacon. The food is always tasty with good service which I appreciate. My only problem with IHOP these days is the portion size… SOSMALL!!! I feel like I’m eating kids size plates no matter what I order lol. One time recently I had to order additional fries to go with my sandwich and I sitll wanted more!

I love ihop. However, this one is really just an old Damon’s that now serves breakfast. Would have had 4 stars if they were open 24 hours /day.

Tape worms anyone??? Service was decent. Food was absolutely disgusting. I ordered the stuffed French toast, bacon and eggs(over easy). The French toast was so stale I had a hard time cutting it with a knife, and when it did cut it also crumbed apart. The bacon was still pink and incredibly undercooked. My eggs might as well have been sunny side up. The whites were not cooked in the slightest. I will not be returning to this location unless paid to do so.

Had dinner with a friend here and was happy we did. I had the chicken and waffles. Very tasty. It was nice to have a variety of syrups to choose from. Chicken tenders were cooked nice. The waitress was nice and the acting manager stopped by to talk and asked us how every was. I’d go back — sure will.

They really missed the mark today. Dawn was our waitress today. We had her on previous occasions and she was always great. We waited almost 15 mins for our drinks after we ordered… even our water. Them almost 30 mins later we finally get our meals and they had been under the warmers. I ordered Chix Florentine Crepes which has veggies, swiss and chicken in egg. It was so full of cinnamon that I barely ate it. I always ask for extra hollandaise and that wasn’t enough to correct this. Boyfriend’s eggs were not cooked completely. Dawn said she would bring us more drinks… forgot and just wasn’t timely at all. Very disappointing experience.

Okay so I’ll start off with the bad– When I first walked in there were about four tables with people at them and no staff to be found, after waiting for about 8 minutes I finally got seated. The after another 10 minutes I was able to put in my drink order… so you can see it was a very slow process, I believe I finally got my food about an hour after I walked into the restaurant. It seems like this location is extremely understaffed! Now the good– The food was great! I ordered cinnamon pancakes which were perfect but only for ones with a sweet tooth. I also ordered a side of hash browns and a drink, the portion of the hash browns were small but they were good. My Girlfriend ordered the crêpe combo and a drink. She got 2 crepes, hash browns, 2 eggs, and bacon for just under $ 9 And it looked delicious. The total bill was about $ 21 which was a good price for the excellent food, the only reason I gave three stars for the horrible service, but if you have time this is the place to eat!

The place smelled like a bathroom. The quality of food is horrible. They never get an order right, been there several times and never have been happy.

If I could leave 0 I would just left for Bob Evans next door. The place had 6 people at most. after being seated right away. we Waited 10 minutes for someone to come by and take our order. Did not happen as we are leaving a manager is walking by and my wife says out loud we are leaving because no one wants to wait on us. Didn’t seem to bother him he just kept Right on walking … We are now at Bob Evans having a hot meal

I really like Ihop as a greasy spoon… Their pancakes and waffles are really good. However, I have to draw the line on the amount of grease they use when making the hash browns, eggs, and breakfast meats… I want to love them, because they taste good, but something about eggs and hash browns coming to the table swimming in evident grease doesn’t make me feel so good… It also doesn’t make my tummy feel good later in the evening(note to self). I think that when I go back I will just stick to plain waffles or pancakes, as these are not greasy and taste amazing… I will forgo the delicious but just too greasy eggs etc. The s

This is where my son wanted to go for this birthday dinner. Out of ALL the restaurants in the Columbus area he picked here. We had never been here before so I was down for a new adventure, although it did leave me very disappointed. I ordered the turkey berry melt. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the turkey or the jam. They were both delicious. Believe it or not, it was the cheese I had a problem with. It had a bitter taste and left a film in my mouth. The after taste was even worse! I don’t know if it’s cheap cheese or what, but it was so bad I had my husband taste it and as soon as he popped it into his mouth a look of horror rushed across his face. I just gave him the«exactly what I was thinking» look. If they would replace this«cheese» with say a white american or just american cheese it would make the sandwich so much better. The stuff that they calling«white cheddar cheese» makes this sandwich almost unbearable. With my sandwich came onion rings. They were pretty good! Not the best I have ever had but definitely good. My husband got the fried chicken dinner that came with mashed potatoes(that he said were really good) and corn(good as well). Although the side dishes were very good the chicken was very over cooked and pretty dry. The skin was a dark brown instead of the golden brown you get when it’s fried to perfection. Because we were at IHOP we wanted to taste what they are supposed to be famous for, their pancakes so my husband and I ordered just 1 to taste and let me tell you it was YUCKY! The flavor was just off. It was overly sweet and not fluffy at all. The texture seemed wrong as well. Cracker Barrel, Bob Evans & Scramblers all put their pancakes to shame. If you are going to call yourself the International House of Pancakes, your pancakes should kick everyone else’s pancakes booties! But sadly, theirs do not. THUMBSDOWN! My youngest son go a chocolate pancake with chocolate chips in it. It sounded totally disgusting to me but when he got it, I tasted it and it was actually pretty good. Finally, a THUMBSUP! My oldest son got chocolate chip pancakes in regular pancake batter. I did NOT like them, however, my son did so…1THUMBUP and 1THUMBDOWN. I feel like this could be an ok restaurant with some tweaking of recipes. The building they are in is beautiful. I just wish their food’s flavor matched their building’s apprearence!

Very busy on a Sunday afternoon. To be expected, of course, and we did fine. Met my sister in law and her son here. Our meal was fairly large and complicated, with three adults and a kid, and there were some issues with speed and accuracy, but things were sorted out well. Our server was very friendly. The food was typical IHOP– good not great. I had the country fried steak dinner, which was pretty good. Very little gravy, so I asked for extra. It came with soup; I had broccoli cheddar, which I would pass on next time. Sweetie had her usual breakfast combo, the nephew had a burger and fries but didn’t seem into them, and sis had steak tips which she enjoyed. We finished with a couple of their crepes, which looked good but seemed disappointing(I didn’t try them.)
