Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern

If you’re looking for fabulous fish and chips, this is the place to go. Their other dishes are also nice, and service has been good every time my family and I have gone. The only downside is that the dining room is small and can be a bit crowded. Still, I’ll happily brave the crowd to get some more of those fish and chips!

Great spot for the family. I also went when my sister and Mom were visiting for just a few beers. Great service when it was super busy. We did call ahead for a reservation. Great shrimp app. We will go back for sure

I enjoyed the meal here. Good crowd watching NFL football and they have plenty of TVs with all the games on.
The service was good.
The food was excellent. The fried pickles were very tasty. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich for my meal and it was definitely one of the better buffalo chicken sandwiches I’ve had.

I love this place. However there is a bartender that gets a little distracted, and so you have to wait as she talks to others patron. So I’m torn how to write this review. They have great food and a great Bar. However the Happy hour bartender needs some work. So 3 ½ out of 5.

Been to a Rusty Bucket restaurant 2 or 3 times but never to this location. The experience has always been good but this one at Polaris stood out as the best. As always we had the potstickers and they were great, as usual. This time we tried the Texas Sirloin chili, wow it was excellent. Also had the Mahi Mahi tacos (very good). But to top it off we finished with the Sticky Bun Bread Pudding and it’s worth the drive to Polaris !!! Oh yea, service was great also.

Everything I’ve tried here is good. The burgers are really good. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes is different with the BBQ dressing and pretty good. Quite a lot of BBQ flavor maybe order without and use ketchup if you don’t like different good either way. Ruben = great

We love this place. PLEASE BRING BACK THE CHIPOTLE WINGS!!! that’s the best sauce you had. Drinks are great using fresh fruit. We are regulars and will continue to be!

Good American style food and a decent beer selection. Only complaint is that I order carry out often and it almost always is in the 30 – 45 minute range even though they always tell me 10 – 15. You’d think I’d learn, but I also don’t want cold food

Had a Otterbein graduation party here last Saturday night! Our waitress went above and beyond! quick with the drink orders and the food was perfect! And it was crowded to boot, but never had to wait! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to have a little get together! Great job, I am a fan!

For a local bar kinda place, they really know how to cook fish! Fish and chips had moist fish, crispy fries, piping hot when served. My salmon salad was incredible. Salmon was cooked perfectly, very surprised. Being from Louisiana, the «blackened» salmon was just hot rather than seasoned, but still good.
Our waitress was a little overwhelmed and got the drink order wrong, but quickly made up for it by covering the cost of them. Our tip MORE than covered the cost of the drinks.
We’re only here for a week but I can see us coming back here.

Came here with a group because Old Bag of Nails hadn’t opened yet and we were in desperate need of fried fish. It was pretty ok I guess; fish wasn’t as good as The Old Bag, and my Reuben reminded me that I don’t like Reubens. We were glad they were open, and they were full of kids/​families (that’s important to me now,) but for the money we dropped it seems like it should have been better. Meh.

Ok I used to really love this place but after my recent visit not so much. I met up with one of best friends before she was to back to school. We arrived around 230 pm and proceeded to the bar and sat down at a booth. Word of caution do not do this because you will become the invisible customer. After waiting for about ten minutes my friend asked someone counting their money if a server could come over to which she replied she would get us one. Our server arrived in a huff and genuinely seemed put out. We asked for water and ordered appetizers of the peel and eat shrimp and the hot spinach dip. Our appetizers arrived in a timely fashion but the plates she brought were dirty ughhh strike two. We then ordered adult beverages um yeah that took fifteen minutes to receive after we asked our server where they were and they were not busy um strike three Im not so sure I’ll go back worst visit ever and it’s definitely left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I had their veggie burger and fries as a carryout order. Good service, but mediocre food. I could have saved money by getting the same meal at BK (which is a good veg burger).
I wouldn’t order again.

We’ve always had a good experience here. They have recently remodeled and will be able to utilize the patio as a «3 season» room. They explained that it will be open unless it is bitterly cold.

This is one of my go to lunch spots.
When I’m feeling like a healthy lunch I like the a cup of chili, and the Salmon or Double Nickel Chicken Salads. When I want to splurge I love the Italian Torpedo sandwich and seasoned fries.
They have about 20 beers on tap. The selection is great and they often have some hard to find craft beers. There is a small patio that I enjoy on nice days. The inside is warm and inviting and there are a ton of TV’s. The staff is friendly and I’ve always received great service.

One of my favorite places on Polaris Parkway. It has came under new ownership and since then it’s a complete transformation.
I love the salmon salad as well as the bucket of peel & eat shrimp. It’s high quality food, great service, and a fun environment.
I think if you are out on Polaris on a Friday night you’ll find yourself pleasantly surprised.

Visiting from out of town. What a fun spot! Fried pickle chips are so good. Natalie is a great bartender. So friendly and always kept em coming.

Elvis Burger for me, French Onion Soup and parmisan crusted tilapia for my mom.
Nice atmosphere, full but not over crowded. Waitress forgot the soup as an appetizer but that was the only hiccup. Good service, will definitely be back again.

This is a great little pub with a nice patio. The interior is reminiscent of way too many suburban pub style restaurants and is not the main attraction. The menu has a nice selection of pub style food — good sandwiches, burgers and appetizers. There is also a nice variety of general ‘comfort’ food and they have daily «blue plate specials». Good selection of beer and wine. The service was good — attentive without being intrusive — and our appetizer arrived in less than 10 – 12 minutes after ordering. Prices are reasonable although the beer (other than the basic domestic brands) was all generally in the $ 5 range. Domestics were in the upper $ 3 range.
Great place to spend a late summer/​early fall evening on the patio.

This place is a great place to eat at but can be quite busy on the weekends. I especially like going here with my girlfriend when the weather is nice as they have a really nice little patio. Be prepared to wait a while for a table though if it’s during the dinner rush. The one thing they have here that is incredibly delicious that I ALWAYS get is their spinach. I’m not sure what they cook it in or how they cook it but it is one of the best things I’ve ever tasted in my life. They also have really great pizza. One time when I ordered their pizza they forgot the banana peppers. Even before they brought the pizza out they told me they had messed it up and gave me the pizza how it was and told me they’d make me one to go. And they also comp’ed my liquor! I said, wow free pizza and free beer, you know the way to a man’s heart!
This place always has great servers here too, I’m not sure how they manage to get such good servers, maybe they pay quite well or maybe i’ve just lucked out but the service is always great. They have great fried pickles and I’ve yet to eat any entrees there that are not really good. The main go-​to entrée I usually get is the wasabi tuna wrap. Yes that sounds weird and yes it’s healthy (OMG) but it’s probably the best thing I’ve eaten there entrée wise besides their pizza, which is much better than one would think from a non-​pizza and non-​Italian type place.
All in all I really like this place, they have great friendly help, excellent food and large portions. Check it out, especially if the weathers nice and you can eat on the patio. You won’t regret it!
