Skyline Chili

I probably will never step foot into this location again, after the vocal treatment I received from the (I assume) the manager, around 5:00 — 5:30, this evening (Jan. 2^nd.). I returned a medium chili take out order, complaining about it not having much meat (it was mostly broth), and was accused of having done this before. I have NEVER done that, have NEVER got a carry out chili order, and this person insisted, out loud, that «Oh yes you have». I sincerely don’t appreciate being accused of lying! They did allow me to return the order, and replaced it with a three way, and I appreciate it, but DO NOT intend to go back there again, after the way I was treated tonight. We live nearby, and have in the past, frequented this establishment many times, and never been treated this way. Sincerely, Richard L. Parr, Westerville, Ohio.

I love coming here every time I come back to Columbus. I love the three way chili! The coneys are also very good. I love the heaping mounds of cheese that are on all the items. The place is pretty quick in getting ones food ready and service is good. The food is great either in the restaurant or as carryout.

It’s a different chili for sure. But besides the fact you have to get the pasta with it. MUCH better I think then their dogs or whatever they are called. But I actually would try that pasta again with hot sauce as a god carb meal after the gym. Nothing special, limited options, and a dumpy looking place but has some rich history with their chili.

I have always liked Skyline chili and used to make it a spot to hit up every time I drove up from Chillicothe. The can stuff is one thing… but having fresh coney dogs is a whole different thing!
Always hot, fresh and fast.
Only downside is that a few times we have went their tea has expired (you can taste it). Short of that we will keep coming back.
Try the Habanero Cheese, its pretty good (though if you are used to spicy food, then it won’t do anything for you lol).

My family and I enjoy coming to Skyline. Being from PA, I have never had Skyline before (they don’t exist out there.) The taste is definitely more of an acquired taste — you probably won’t like it the first time. Give it a few tries, and I’m confident it will grow on you!
This location is located close to home, so we visit frequently. The management is super nice, and the wait staff seems nice too. I have never really had a issue here. So why 4 stars? location is a outdated. Time to upgrade the décor!

This skyline is very fast, clean, and friendly! I go to them for my cheat meal a couple times a month and the food always taste great

I stopped here after a 4^th Friday in Westerville. One of my first jobs out of college was nearby and this was the location I most frequented.
It looked dirty and rundown. The person who took my carryout order was pleasant. When I arrived home I was disappointed in the taste. The spaghetti was not nearly as well cooked as I’ve had at other locations.

Love Skyline! Great food at reasonable prices! Staples are the coneys and the 3ways! 3ways are spaghetti with heaps of cheese on top (you can also make it a 4way or 5way). Just a great place!

Since I was a first timer my meal was free and I received a gift bag with goodies!!! I had the three way spaghetti, coney dog and a funnel dessert: yummy!!! Had a blast and I’m looking forward to going back again

Born and raised in Westerville, Skyline is a bit of a tradition in my family. The restaurant has been here since I can remember and the food is still awesome. My favorites are the deluxe burrito and chili sandwiches with cheese and their fries are some of the best in town. They now have fun items like funnel cake fries — a great ending to a yummy meal. Taelor is one of the top servers, always friendly and efficient. Ask for her section when you’re in ;) Zach, one of the managers always greets every table to ask how the meal is. Great location with a friendly/​family feel. Tip: while waiting for your meal (which never takes long) add a drop of their hot sauce to an oyster cracker that has a hole (or hollow)!! We used to call them Cracker Bombs — yummmm!!!

As far as a Skyline Chili goes… You can’t do better than this one! Great service, friendly manager, fresh and tasty food, and very clean! If you are lucky enough to get Amanda as your server, you will leave there feeling like Skyline royalty! Every Skyline should be as good as this one. I had not been to one in over a year, but it just moved WAY up my list of quick places to eat. Thanks Westerville Skyline!

This location is bright and they always have knowledgeable people working the counter. I stopped for lunch and had two chili dogs (with added hot sauce) and a small 3-​way which is spaghetti covered with chili and cheese. That was a little more than I needed but I don’t come here that often.

Growing up in Cincinnati, I was raised on Skyline Chili. Now that I live in Washington, DC, I try to convert as many friends as possible, so when I was in town with a few friends who hail from Norway, I of course had to make sure they tried one of my favorite hometown meals!
Most people will have had Skyline somewhere before, so I will not get into the food (which, of course, I love). Rather, I wanted to take a minute to compliment the manager and staff on the service. Our server, Taylor, was prompt and courteous, and I never was out of crackers or drinks (much needed for the amount of hot sauce I use). Even better, she immediately asked if there was anybody at the table who had not tried Skyline before (the Norwegians), and explained the new Ambassador program which rewarded regulars for bringing new fans to Skyline. It really added a lot of fun, and our guests had a great time.
The manager made sure to stop by and make sure everybody was enjoying their meal, and when another from our party who had never been before mentioned that she was skipping the chili due to being on a diet, he offered to at least give her a free taste, just to see what she thought.
It all made the experience that much more fun, and certainly helped create a few new fans — so thank you!

I stop by a Skyline Chili at least twice a week for a Five-​Way and a Cheese Coney. The Habanero Cheese adds to the taste. Each Skyline location features good food and great service. The staff was notable at this location for their prompt and friendly service.

Great food at good prices… Service is top notch and the kids night on Wednesday is even better… They have activities for kids and kid eats free with paying adult… A great alternative is to try the loaded baked potato with skyline sauce and cheese or the burrito … And you can never go wrong with a 3 way or a coney dog…

Not good. Corny service, cheap food. What is the fuss about? Everything they make here you can make yourself in your microwave for a quarter of the price and it’ll taste the same.
I managed to eat a gluten-​free meal here using a free meal ticket that we got at work, so props to them for making that happen, but it turned my stomach the way only bad food can. Yuck.

SKYLINE Chili is delicious eats at fair prices. Always a winner. Great service, too.
Recently, I had straight up three way chili and it was yum yums. Skyline may be old news for people in Ohio but may be something new to try for visitors. Don’t miss it!

Oh my goodness… Oh my goodness!
When we entered, we were pleasantly greeted by Colleen. After we were seated, she was also our server. Very sweet and bubbly! …not the typical attitude so many servers seem to be graced with today.
When I explained that it was my first time at a Skyline, she immediately was shocked (then told her I had just moved to the area). She explained the menu and of course made a recommendation… which I had… The 5-​Way.
When she brought our food, she asked if we wanted bibs… she was slightly disappointed because no one had wanted a bib all day… so for the fun of it we both took bibs. Very cute I must say… and a GREAT IDEA since I was wearing white, and did get a few spots on the bib!
Bravo Colleen — will always get the bib in the future!
Now… on to the food. OH MY GOODNESS… OH MY GOODNESS!!!
The taste was great, and of course I’m a HUGE cheese fan… no place ever puts enough cheese on anything, but they sure made me happy here!!! AHHHHHH… THE POWER OF CHEESE!!! I’m the guy in the cheese commercial… or at least I should be!
While we were eating, Josh the general Manager, came up to our table and introduced himself because he heard it was our first time here.
VERY NICE customer service touch! He wanted to make sure we were enjoying everything… how often does that happen???
the only time I ever see a general manager is when I have a complaint and have to summons one. This guy made it a point to introduce himself… BRAVO!!!
So… why 5 stars for a chain restaurant??? The food was great and the customer service was beyond what you could ask for!

Being raised in Ohio, I’d only ever had Skyline one other time… so I wasn’t really sure what to expect.
When we walked in, we were greeted in a very friendly manner by Colleen (who was also our server). Colleen was a sweetheart, but insisted that we wear bibs. After I was done eating, I’m sure glad I did!
Let’s just say… if you’re EVER craving chili with a mountain of cheese piled sky-high…this is the place to be. I had the 5-way…which is spaghetti, topped with chili, onions and a butt-​load of cheese. It was delicious though!
Soon after we began eating, the manager came over and greeted us. He was a very friendly guy and was truly glad we were there! THAT’S how you make a business successful! I don’t usually give FIVE stars… but this place was well deserving! Great job Skyline!
Will definately go back!

Quick, attentive service and we were out the door. My cousin and I stopped here to get some oh-​so-​delicious Skyline for the family and we were not disappointed. Good portions and plenty of cheese, oyster crackers and hot sauce. There was only one other family in the place, so quick service is to be expected. But, they were very nice and did a great job.
On a side note, Skyline is one of my favorite meals! Cincinnati chili is utterly fantastic and Skyline does it right. Meaty goodness with a little sweetness and I never get tired of it! If you are in Southern/​Central Ohio, try it out!
