I call it grumpy’s pizza. Great prices, good food but the owner can be really rude to customers. I’ve listened to him rip into multiple customers in a row because he couldn’t hear them or for asking how late they were open or for asking the total on their order over the phone. Other times he can be nice but seems like a really negative person.

I was hoping to say this would be great to eat unfortunately i cannot nor will i. At 7:50 pm with the OPEN sign turned on, and the hours posted saying they are open until 10pm my wife, daughter, and I were told they were closed by an older gentleman chatting with someone. The door was not locked nor was there any new signs just the old faded signs posted on the doors and windows. If you are closed turn off the open light and lock the door. A very plane location with old furniture and a well used old school menu sign. I won’t be back. They may have good reviews but I don’t know how.

The pizza is amazing! Very fresh ingredients. I got the pepperoni, sausage, onion pizza and it was fantastic! The prices are very good and the quality is just as good! One thing everyone should know is that this place is CASHONLY! Glad I had cash on me because they did not tell me that when I ordered. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been coming to Plaza Pizza since high school(since it was in the plaza on Schrock Rd. – almost 25 years) and I love it, but I think people will either LOVE it or HATE it. There’s no in-between. Another reviewer said this place is «a time capsule» and that’s a pretty good description. No matter how long it’s been, the place looks exactly the same, and more importantly, the prices don’t change. I always get the sausage pizza bread(the sausage is, hands down, the best I’ve ever had… EVER!) and a meatball sandwich. The guy who runs it is a hoot. Always amusing.

I love this place. First rate«Columbus style» pizza. Fast, friendly, and inexpensive. Run by a nice older couple. Be aware that it’s cash or check only. No credit cards.

True mom and pop. Walked in and both owners were watching old TV shows. Spend $ 9.50 on medium pizza with garlic cheese bread. It was delicious too!

I’v heard lots of great things about this place from friends and neighbors! So I said lets try them tonight(12−28−24 @ 6:30p) and we drove up and started to get out of the car and realized they were closed? We walked up to the door and the hours posted said 11a-10p. So for now 2 stars for not being open during posted business hours. Oh fiddlesticks!!!

Drove by it a ton and finally stopped in. This place is a time capsule, low prices, no delivery and literally run by mom and pop for the last 50 years. Very good pizza and I was told by another waiting customer that the double sub is the best sub anywhere. I will be back often. Oh and they have anchovies as a topping.

Excellent Pizza and they have the best prices in the Columbus area. Mr Wilson and his beautiful wife have been in the pizza business for over 50 years. Is that cool or what?

This place has Donatos style pizza but done much, much better. When you order toppings they really pile them on. The pizza was good but not extraordinary. Actually what I thought was the best item they had was their Italian sub sandwich. I’d rate it very, very high and worth going back for.
