Applebee’s

Food is good but portions are tiny now. Will be going to 99 where we can get a real meal.

Had the triple hog dare ya, the pulled pork was still almost frozen in the middle when I bit into it. Manager comes over to apologize but in the fashion of walking by me when he said it and was about 10 feet away. Thanks guy for your sincere apology…

This is, in my opinion, the best Applebee’s in Western MA. In terms of good service, consistent food and cleanliness. We’ve ordered car side to go a ton of times over the last 2 years and it’s been on point every time. Dining in has been great as well. Keep up the good work.

Had the brisket burger with sweet potato fries and my daughter has french onion soup and some kind of burger I wasn’t paying attention. The service was good and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, The portions were okay, the place is nice and clean and the waitress was nice and courteous.

Favorite place to eat! Those perfect margaritas are awesome. The service is always great. I lived in Westfield for about 5 years and I love going there and seeing the new things they have started.

OH MY LORDY LORD COWBELL LOVER. So a few of my buddies and I were on our roadtrip to go shred some pow total early seas if ya catch it man. So we’re like damn! MUNCHIES!!! So we’re like damn! APPLEBEES!!! So we walk in and we see this glorious creature. So we’re like damn! GLORIOUS CREATURE!!! We immediately follow this creature of love and instantly knew that this will be the place that we find ultimate satisfaction for preparedness of some pow shred. So we sit down, order some drinks and frites and we’re like damn! Drinks and frites!!! We weren’t even hungry or thirsty but we were doing everything we could to lengthen the exposure to this GLORIOUS CREATURE!!! The drinks and frites were of 5 star quality. I’ve never had such a mouth experience in my life. And in addition to the mouth feel; I had the honor of the most pleasurable eye feel… as the evening came to an end our checks came and it was time to make the move… time to ask this glorious creature for a name. We mustered up the courage, asked the ultimate question, and the glorious creature spoke; with grace and sonorous manner…“Vicky, my name is Vicky”. Our eyes glazed over, blood pressure dropped, and hearts stopped beating. The Earth suspended its rotation, the Sun and the Moon aligned, life was no longer worth living if living meant being away from this glorious creature… this glorious creature that was our server, this glorious creature who’s name was… VICKY

Excellent service provided my the majestic Vicktoria! Sublime customer service skills, positive attitude and super friendly! She deserves the Waiter Of The Year Award! If that award even exists.

Best Applebees ever! Food is so fresh and organic. And I had the best server ever! Ask for Vicky! She is so great and quite charming. Has a wonderful sense of humor and physique.

avoid ordering a steak from this restaurant… you will not be satisfied. i tried twice and both times it taste like rubber.

It’s applebees, do you really need a review? Pouches of prepared food microwaved to order. Eat at a locally owned restaurant instead with a chef in the kitchen, not sime high school student or“cooking” by following some standardization manual or training video how to make every meal according to corporate’s test kitchen

I only rate food and I struggled to give 2 stars. We ordered 5 appetizers, salmon, Thai salad, and a couple of pasta dishes. Nothing was fresh at all… We would have been better off to get food out of a can and microwaved it ourselves. Portions were very small and prices go right along with their overhead. The only reason for the second star was because our waitress Emily was awesome. Not sure I’ll try this chain again… Not sure why I go to chain restaurants at all.

My girlfriend took me here for a date and we had a blast. Top shelf cocktails and ½ priced apps. Our waitress, heather was so nice and accommodating. My fiesta lime chicken was hot and delicious. Our spinach and artichoke dip was awesome. Definitely coming back.

My son’s birthday was a couple of weeks ago. We had called a week prior to make a reservation, and were told to call back the day before. I called the day before, made a reservation for 18 people, answered the questions about high chairs and such, and told the family the plans. The day of the «party,» I saw they were busy, and called 45 minutes prior to the reservation to confirm they would be ready for us, and was told «We don’t do reservations.» I explained I had already made one, who I made it with, and all the details I’d given. Again he says, «We don’t do reservations.» He said he would try to reach the person who took the reservation and call me back. When he couldn’t reach her (as if that should make any difference!) he called back and said they wouldn’t accommodate us, but he «couldn’t be more sorry.» I said I didn’t want him to be sorry, I wanted him to start holding tables for us… it was still 45 minutes away! He refused, saying it isn’t their policy. What do you think the odds are of getting 18 people to sit together at a crowded Applebee’s without them reserving space? Um, zero! I told him, and still say, «It will be a cold day in hell before I go back there!» This is not the first time they have disappointed me, but it will be the last. Went to the Hangar in Westfield instead, and they were fantastic, very accommodating, happy to have 18 people ordering food and drink (which Applebee’s should have been) and the food was MUCH better!

I went there today and my roommate found a nice big black bug in her salad! The manager was hesitant and not understanding when we said that we all lost our appetite. Never going back there.

The food is ok, staff was good but the tables are tight together. We were sat at a table with one end against a wall and three deep and if the person against the wall had to get out, the other two had to scoot out so that person could slide across their seats because you couldn’t push your chair out. Other than that, they didn’t mess up the food or drinks, so it was still an OK meal

Solid food as always. The Lunch menu is a better option and value than the dinner.

Applebee’s sits right along the retail district of Rte. 20 (East Main Street) leading out of Westfield towards West Springfield, MA. It’s one of those major national chain eateries where you know what to expect before walking in the door. Soups, salads, bar appetizers, burgers, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, seafood, steaks, chicken, ribs, pasta, and Weight Watchers’-approved meals decorate the menu. It’s a little bit of everything along with a full bar for after work.
I was there for lunch and took advantage of their lunch combo special — French Onion soup and the Grilled Shrimp ‘n Spinach Salad. Nice and light, and certainly affordably priced. It was a quick meal, and much preferred over a greasy fast food joint.
This particular Applebee’s is popular with the local college crowd from Westfield State College, and the bar area does get a bit rowdy later at night. As with other Applebee’s there are lots of TV’s in the bar area tuned to various sports channels.

I met up at Applebee’s for drinks and appetizers the other night. I decided to write up a small review while waiting for the check.
«The margeritias are the shit! Sooo much tequilas. My nachos are really soggy but even though my nachos are really soggy they’re are really delicious. The potato skins were. Almost as much as the potato skins.

We went here in a pinch last weekend because the wait was very, very long at the restaurant we originally wanted to order form. So we decided to just get take-​out and eat at home. The food wasn’t very good. I’m not one to knock chain food — there are plenty of chains whose food I enjoy a lot. Applebees isn’t one of them. I got the turkey avocado sandwich on ciabatta bread. The turkey was ice, ice cold. Like it had just come out of the freezer cold. And it was slimey — like it was defrosting slimey. The avocado was decent. The ciabatta roll wasn’t very good. And it was supposed to come with a green goddess dressing — I didn’t taste that at all. I was really disappointed in the sandwich and ended up tossing most of it. We split the pretzels appetizer. This was the one upside — the beer cheese dip was very yummy. Overall, I just can’t see us returning to Applebees.

Was in the area and needed a quick lunch after driving for 2 hours.

It’s corporate food… but the portions were good and the food was tasty. As long as the cook staff can follow the pictures on the wall it’s hard to mess up the food

Nearly $ 40 after tip for lunch for two. OUCH We didn’t even order the expensive entrée’s or drinks from the bar. If this had been for dinner it wouldn’t have been as big a deal, but would have expected a dinner sized portion.
