We came here 45 minutes before closing on Memorial Day. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Yes, this is a traditional Mexican place but the food was great. We tried three of their burrito offerings: hot and spicy, steak and cheese, and burrito loco. Each were great in their own way and definitely filling. We would be willing to trek from Broad Ripple to Carmel for the burritos and service again.

I love their guacamole mexicano. It is so fresh. The chicken tortilla soup is wonderful, but it does have a lot of chicken in it. Great food and wonderful, friendly service every time.

Chips and Salsa were fine. Meal was almost cookie cutter standard quality Mexican fare. Nothing unique. Probably will not go back. It wasn’t bad but not compelling enough to make the rotation

I was having a surprise party for my husband and had it set to be a bar next door(The Local eatery and Pub). When they didn’t save us our tables we were in a bind.(and they didn’t care at all– not my idea of good place) the Toros were amazing at moving people around for our large group. The staff was amazing. The margarita’s were awesome. I had chicken fajita’s that were the best I’ve tasted. It ended up being the perfect place and everybody said their food was great.

Umm… it’s okay. Chips are thick. Salsa is okay. Taste like average Mexican food. Staff are nice.

I like the food. I’m Vegan so I can’t testify to the full menu but I get a warm meal the way I want it. They make it work so that’s a 5 star in my book. I really hate going hungry and I will. I will not eat anything that had a face sorry. It’s good to find places that will work with you. They are very mindful of food allergies also.

This is just another cookie cutter Mexican restaurant. Nothing special about this place. We ordered the cheese and bean nachos and that was literally what they had on them, beans and cheese! We had to ask for the lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, etc. They have a larger vegetarian menu than most, however. Still nothing unique here. Just more beans and cheese. Probably won’t becoming back here.

Great place for a sit down meal. The staff is friendly and provide good service. There are great lunch specials and the food portions are good for the price. Good chips and salsa.

We were going to brunch at the pancake house, the wait was too long; we decided to try this place. Our server Manuel was friendly and attentive. I ordered the carnita tacos with my favorite corn tortilla shells, they were delcious. My boyfriend ordered the super ranchero enchilada’s, all 5 were tasty. Great place for a gathering and they have tv’s to watch sports.

Best nachos in town. I have tried a few other menu items but the nachos are by far the best. The service is good and efficient.

I’ve been coming to Los Toros with my family for about two years now. We try going at least 3 times a month. The place is amazing! It never disappoints. The portions are huge so you are always leaving full. The staff are always so humble and are very quick when you have something to say to them. Never a long wait for food and the wait for a table is never longer than 10 minutes. Plus it’s very cheap so you’re getting a lot of food and drinks for your buck. All around best Mexican restaurant in the area. I recommend it to anyone!

«The Toros»(I think they had to change the name assuming Los Toros was an established chain…) is located at Gray and 146th. It is definitely the best Mexican option in the area. Highlights: Food is very good, excellent portions, and service is routinely lightning fast. Margaritas are tasty and come in small to ‘fish bowl’ sizes. Chips are very good and their selection of hot sauces gives you the option to branch out from the house salsa to kick your chips(or meal) up quite a few notches. Great place to meet friends and hang whether in the restaurant or separate bar area. Lowlights: None. Recommendation: Do it.

Los Toros serves good food at a decent price. My personal favorite in the Carmel/Westfield area. We’ve been here several times & haven’t had a bad experience. The hosts & servers are always friendly & prompt… I’ve rarely had to ask for a refill. I love the Burrito Choris! Almost addicted to it. They have many meals with actual steak for the beef, not just ground beef(though that is an option). Traditional chips & salsa are plentiful & pretty good. Seating is good & you do not feel crowded. They have several booths large enough to sit 6 adults comfortably which is nice to find in any restaurant. They have several TV’s(usually showing sports) but the atmosphere is not loud at all which is something I really look for when dining out.

This is our«go to» mexican resturant. You won’t find better. They have all the usual tacos, burritos, and more, as well as American spin dishes, but then they have some wonderful authentic dishes. I just wish I could branch out from the chili poblano…

Fairly standard Mexican fare but a very nice restaurant with a bigger menu than most Mexican restaurants. The big plus from me is that they have cholula hot sauce on the table. Why other Mexican places don’t serve that blows my mind.

So with The Local wait too long we decided to come here. Décor is typical Mexican place. Chips and salsa was okay nothing great but not bad. I had a shrimp quesadilla it was full of shrimp and tasty. Margarita was pretty tasty too. Pretty typical Mexican joint. Service was good and prices were fair.

I enjoy the chips and salsa here. Very good(not sweet) tomato taste. Not to hot, just mild… The older I get the milder the salsa needs to be. But any who… I can’t steer away from the Taco’s de Carne Asada. Three grilled skirt steak taco are the Boss. The other Mexican Restaurants around the area seem to boil the meat which leaves it chewy. This place grills the steak. I leave with the bill around $ 11(tacos and tea) and a full tummy. Muy Bueno!!!

This is the best mexican place that my wife and I have found in Carmel. my wife is from Arizona and swears that they have the best chiles poblanos that she has had since she left AZ. I almost always get the enchiladas suizas which are cheese enchiladas smothered in fork tender fall apart pork with cheese and tomatillo sauces. Flat out delicious! and if you like shrimp, try their coctel de camarron for a starter for 2 or a meal for 1. We Love this place. The service and food are always great.

My family loves coming to Los Toros. It has become our go to Mexican place in the Carmel area. The service has always been good and we enjoy the food. The frozen margaritas aren’t too bad either. I’ve never had a bad experience in over a dozen times or more going to this place over the past couple of years.
