Mazza Chautauqua Cellars

Chad the Chocolate Man! Let me preface by stating I visited Mazza Chautauqua Cellars
Wine Store at 4717 Chautauqua-​Stedman Rd, Mayville, NY 14 757.
I’m no wine expert but I had an amazing time. I came on a Wednesday afternoon and was greeted by Chad the Chocolate maker and his wonderful wife. We were told the history of the Mazza Wineries, as well as the associated chocolate making of Meymar Karlopie, we then got down to tasting. I first had the bare bones red, which was just the right amount of dry and full for me, I paired it with the milk chocolate which was great. I next had the Port, usually I find Port’s too syrupy but this one was great with just the right amount of spice. The rest of the tasting went great and Chad was very hospitable. I tried some of the Spirits too, great for mixing or for a cold day. My friend and I then took a glass to walk around with on the grounds, which are beautiful. I highly recommend going here if you are in the Chautauqua/​Mayville area. I will be back
