I agree with the other 2 reviewers. Went there today with my 4 and a half year old. He really needed to use the bathroom and they would not allow him. They told us that the bathroom was out of order. Which seemed odd since there was and always is a sign of the door that says employees only.
If your main clientele is children who in general can not control their bowls or emotions as well as adults you should consider allowing them use of the bathroom especially when they are going in there with an adult who happens to be a paying customer.
I think that we are done with this store.

We had an experience similar to what MR posted. They do not seem to like children or grown ups, even paying customers. We will not return to this store.

Don’t shop here. There are plenty of other toy stores available to you, one being just around the corner from this very store. I have never been treated with more disrespect as a paying customer as I was while I was shopping in Thinka Dinka. I live in town so it’s very convenient for me to purchase all of my own childrens’ gifts and the many birthday party gifts that are needed right around the corner but unfortunately I will go out of my way to go elsewhere and I will discontinue shopping here. The manager on site is disgruntled and rude and will treat you and your children poorly. While I was in the store he raised his voice at both me and my son because my son was playing on the train table which is there for children to play with. We were quiet, we had not made a mess at all and I had 4 – 5 items waiting on the counter to purchase and yet the employee of the store took issue that we were there and acted as if we were in his way. Shame on you Thinka Dinka. Until you have a manager on site that actually enjoys his job and is willing to help paying customers, you will not have my business and I will encourage others to stay away. There are plenty of other stores to purchase gifts in! Go to the store around the corner, you won’t be sad you did.

Wonderful in town toy store. Today I had the expertise of the owner’s 9 and almost 5 year old in purchasing a toy, who could be a better expert on toys. They helped me pick out a few toys, offered gift wrap and a drink! The selection is excellent, especially on Legos. Cordial service by owner too, nice atmosphere. Great place!
