Rogers Beach

Seemed like a nice beach. Free parking in town a few blocks away.

It is a beautiful beach. Very clean and has restrooms and a little spot for you to get snacks and what not. People are very nice and it’s family oriented. Only thing that grinds my gears about this beach is ((((drumroll please !!!)))) … You have to actually live IN the town to get a pass !!! Let me explain… I live in Westhampton Beach… My NYS ID says I do and so does my utility bill … Sooo I assumed I could get my beach pass and enjoy myself… I was wrong… When I reached the counter I was told by a young man (btw that kid needs an attitude adjustment in the worse way) that I wasn’t allowed on the beach because my address belonged in Quogue… I showed him everything and nothing… I was told to go to another beach… Ummmmmm… Ok… If any of you Town Hall people read this !!! Give a girl a break !!! That’s the closest beach to my house and I don’t think its fair that I have to hike a million miles on a bus in the summer because I live on the borderline !!!

Nice if you can access it. Go pre-​MDW or post-​LDW if you don’t have a pass.
