Let me first say that my hair dresser was great. I liked her and she did a good job.
My problem with this salon was the price. Most Aveda salons are non tipping so the price includes a tip for the hair dresser. This salon was not one of those salons. Normally that would still be okay with me except their prices were just as high if not higher than other TIPPING aveda salons.
My trim cost $ 40, my highlight cost $ 100, and then I was charged $ 35 for toner. So in total it was $ 175 plus tax then added tip. I’ve always gone to an Aveda salon and never have I paid that much. Aveda at Casals and Rometrics included tip and were lower than $ 150 for same service. Price does matter to me so this will be my first and last time to go to this salon. I, like most Americans don’t have $ 200+ to shell out every 4 – 6 weeks just for hair.

After years of searching I have finally found a hairstylist that knows how to cut my long thick hair! The receptionist recommended I see Alison and I’m so glad I did. She’s truly amazing! She really listened to what I had in mind and just worked her magic from there. The complete experience from start to finish was really great.

I was a first time customer and received excellent service at head quarters this week! I called and got an appointment the day of, which was super convenient. The receptionist was lovely, and offered me a variety of refreshments while I waited for my stylist. The wait was brief, I was on a time restraint and my stylist Ali, did an amazing job in the exact time window that I had. She gave me a beautiful cut, like «compliments from strangers» level hair cut.

I went here today while in town visiting family nearby. (I live in the NYC area and needed a root touch-​up.)
Katianne did my color and she did a fantastic job! I liked the upscale but comfortable atmosphere and everyone working there went out of their way to be polite and friendly. I never felt ushered from station to station like in some salons. I left with a glossy mane of bouncy waves!

I had to get my hair just styled for a wedding on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. I was staying close by to here, called and made an appointment. I just needed my hair washed, blown out, and flat ironed. With the thickness of my hair, and my lack of experience, this takes me about 90 minutes to do. I went to Rose, a junior stylist, and it took her 45 minutes or maybe a bit less and it only cost $ 21! Yes! I looked and felt great while also scoring a great value.

I think supercuts would have done a better job. First my request for a trim was ignored. I wanted to keep the length and instead walked out with a shoulder length bob/​Then to top it off it’s uneven and by uneven I mean random strands that were left long. To make matters worse I caught the uneven pieces in the front at the salon and then they «fixed» them and supposedly made things even all around. Clearly not the case. I have always had good luck with aveda salons so its disappointing that this one is so terrible and sullies the brand. Next time I’ll save my 45 bucks and go to supercuts. DO NOT go here unless you want that beautiful I let my 5 year old cut my hair look.

the first time there, my cut was great… second time, my hair was considerably shorter on one side… the third time, stylist didn’t even want to shampoo my hair, was cutting my hair crooked, corrected them, they agreed, then tried to fix it, went home to only find that hair was much shorter on one side, in the back, than the other… won’t be going back, disappointing experience… IF THERE WAS A WAY TO GIVE ZERO STARS, THAT’S WHAT I WOULD GIVE…

Have been coming here for years. Very professional, great product, head and hand massage with the hair cut, and soothing hot herbal tea. What’s not too love!

I purchased a Groupon for this salon and got a great deal! $ 70 for full foil highlights and a cut. I was not treated any «differently» for being a Groupon customer like I thought I might be. My stylist was Angela. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. After searching for almost a year, I may have found my new go-​to salon! Plus I absolutely love Aveda products so that’s another plus.

Great service and a great job of cutting and styling. This was my first time here, but I have been to plenty of Aveda salons before. This is one of the better ones that I have been to.

Pretty good service and you become attached to your stylist quickly, I know I am! The services have 3 ranges based on the experience of your stylist. But for spa services there is one base price. Some of the services are quite expensive and some are really good deals. It also helps if you go during promotions when you can get 3 services for 75.00: hair highlights (10 foils), cut, and a wax (i think that’s the services they offer with it). The facials made me break out and red so I won’t do that again. Also, sometimes the eyebrow wax irritates my skin around there. The pedi and manicures are quite enjoyable; however, they have a limited color selection. The only services I would really recommend is hair coloring/​highlighting, shampoos and cuts.
