Slow service. Waited 10 mins for one tea. They got the guys order wrong who was before me. It wasn’t busy so I don’t understand why there was a mistake on his order. I got the passion fruit green tea with grass jelly + lychee jelly. The tea is really sweet and the grass jelly was not tasty. I did not care for the jelly. I would have got the honey boba but they were all out. It was really cold with little ice. That was the only plus cus it was very hot outside. I would not go back.

I really really love Beepop before. I saw on Unilocal that they close at 12am, and then I went to Beepop at 11:30pm, they still took my table very quick But now, I come at 11:10pm twice time but they don’t take my table any more? I just wonder what is kind of service? So suck! I’m so upset about their service right now! Five star before and now: it even isn’t worth one star!

After we order our drinks and food, they come out 30 minutes later saying they have no boba. Also they«ran» out of popcorn chicken but the table that was seated after was is able to order popcorn chicken. Had to ask for napkins and utensils. Would not recommend. It’s not worth the Instagram photo.

I used to addict Pha Lau, and Satay Beef Noodel of Beepop, it used to be very good and tasty. But now I decide to stop coming this place because they changed their chef and all the foods are totally different than one year ago. Pha Lau was the worst. It looks like a bowl of beef stew rather than pha lau, but its smell was not beef stew and was not pha lau at all. The smell of spices was very strong. I could recognize right away that it was a different chef. I came on Sunday 05/29/2016, a day before Memorial Day and it was a long weekend holiday. There was only one staff who’s working as a cashier, taking order and a server altogether. Service was really bad today. If the main chef and all staffs were all off for long weekend, they should close for couple days rather than selling some shit to customers.

To Beepop Owner, I came and ordered three items. Waited 30 minutes and Nothing came out… I was like wtf. I came up and talk to 3 servers and none of them has an idea of what I ordered. So I was here 30 minutes and no one bother to ask«why is there a table with no food» for 30 minutes?“ Let me tell you something, I can teach my shit better than your servers.

My favorite place for Vietnamese street food. The PHALAU(beef intestine) is so authentic here. I have tried all of their PHALAU: PHALAU with noodle soup, PHALAU with bread, and PHALAU with stir fried noodles and every one of the dishes were good. The BANHTRANGTRON(rice paper salad) was ok. The BUNDAUMAMTOM was also ok. The Milk-teaquila was ok, but the portion was so small, we 4 could only get about half a glass of milk tea for each person and 6 different tiny toppings for $ 13, so not a good deal, even though good representation. The Thai Green Tea flavor was ok though. TIPS: They only accept debit card or cash here. No Credit cards

I came here after stopping by next door at Zero. I was intrigued by the name and I have been on a little mission to get the hubster up to speed with milk teas and other drinks that contain boba, jelly, or whateves. Thus far he is a REALLY into the milk teas but he LOVES milk so it was an easy transition for him. I walked in and was greeted right away. The cute bee décor was nice. To the left of the door on the wall was the menu written in colorful chalk. I perused the menu and really could not decide. I was looking from more milk tea flavors but sadly they didn’t have many. Sniff, sniff. I asked for a few suggestions and all I got was crickets. No Bueno. I was a little taken aback by that. I guess I’m just used to people at the very least telling what they like or what there favorite is but again the crickets were chirping quite loudly I thought they were bout to break out in song at this point so I just moved on. I decided to go with a Oolong milk tea and Passions Love tea. I also deiced to get the little bottles because I love being able to use them later for smoothies I take to work or when I do my different olive seasonings. The young man rang me up. OMG nearly $ 15 for two drinks. WHAT! I can’t say I will be coming back here paying that kind of price for 2 E’ffin drinks. It’s not like it was some vintage glass of wine made with grapes from some remote region of the Tibetan mountains that is only accessible by hopping on one foot up a step cliff. Goodness Gracious! That was a pretty steep price tag. A few moments later and my order was up and ready. The young man sort of came a live from his catatonic state he was in and came around the counter to hand the two drinks to me. I snapped a couple pics and was out like a light. Legg’s like both drinks but felt the Passion Love was a bit TOOSWEET. I would have to agree. The Oolong was on point but nothing special. It could have had a bit more of the oolong taste but it was ok. Nothing was off the chain to me here so probably won’t be coming back anytime soon, especially with those prices.

I came here for the first time with my friend since I was born in Vietnam I mean Vietnamese-Vietnamese so I was kinda crave for Viet food! This place looks so Viet, from the decoration to the servers and even the location(located right in the Vietnamese area). I tried Daikon Cake(Bot Chien). It was pretty good, of course not as good as authentic Bot Chien in Saigon but it tastes almost the same. The sauce is good too! I also tried Banh Trang Tron and Xoi for the second time and the third time I came. It was yummy!!! I love it!!! I gave them around 4 stars for the food as compare to another place, this place is way better!!! And the drinks? Around 3 stars only I gave them around 3 stars since every time I order to go I always have to wait for around half an hour :( I gave them around 3.5 stars for the customer service. They are nice! All look so Viet :). They should be more friendly tho! I would probably come back for my Bot Chien and Xoi. Good place for those who is missing Saigon and Saigon’s street food :)

Terrible service and not even good foods as they were used to be. They said they open at 11:30am. We came a little early so we waited. there was no problem at all until one of the worker, who was also locked outside waiting for his work, told us they were actually open at 12:00pm. Okay, fine, we were happy to wait a little more cuz we were here anyway, and we were craving for some«Pha lau». At 12:10, the guy owner finally arrived, but then he ended it up with forgetting the store key at his house. he came back 30 mins later to open realizing that we were still waiting there. Shockingly, there was no «SORRY» or even a smile on his face to us. WTF??? However, we still came in cuz the cute worker who also waited along with us. Okay, the failure was getting worse when we got in. We sat there, waited for the worker done taking his phone orders even though we were the first ones to get in the store. we didn’t know that the order priority supposed to give to phone orders even though there were customers in the store way earlier. As the result, phone orders food came out first. Our drinks came out first with no boba, they gotta cook it. FINE. Our foods came out at last. The quality of the food is under the okay level. Huge disappointment. they were way more amazing before. Such a failure for a boba and munchies place in middle of Bolsa. there were really competitive out there. Sorry this is the last time I would give this place a chance. It’s been the fourth, but I don’t wanna talk about the other three. if there was 0 zero star for rating, I would give them. No recommendation to anyone!!! P/s: To Miss Diem, the girl owner: where were you? Please come back on the register. I miss your amazing service and food.

Their single selling point for me personally were their Caprisun like drink bags. You can choose to have your drink in a plastic bag that will transport you right back to your childhood. That was the only reason why we came and you can imagine our disappointment when the server told us that they were all out of their plastic bags. Their reasoning was that they get their bags made out of the country where it is cheaper which I understand but when you’re going to compete with hundreds of other Asian tea shops in the area, I would just pay a little more and have the bags ready all the time. Anyways hearing that news, one of our friends went over next door to get his drink elsewhere and I chose not to order a drink. My other two friends decided to give it a try anyways and ordered their Vietnamese coffee and a Strawberry Banana smoothie. HOLYCOW their drinks are seriously diabetes in a cup. Even when adjusted. I did not enjoy their Vietnamese coffee because I could literally feel myself getting diabetes. Our friend did not enjoy her smoothie that much neither because for some odd reason the smoothie did not come mixed together. It came with a layer of strawberry on the bottom, and then a layer of banana on top. A smoothie implies that they are blended together? Anyways she said after she mixed it altogether it was a little better. On top of that, their boba was undercooked. Fail on every level. I do admit that their décor is on point. It’s pretty cute. But they’re located right next to the very popular Zero Degrees. I would rather go to Zero Degrees any day than order at Beepop. Plastic bags or not, the drinks have to taste good! 1⁄5

I like going here solely for the modern take on Vietnamese street food. Service was okay. The servers seemed kinda bored and dead, and they just did the standard hi, menu, and back to the front. I got a drink here, but it was average, not worth mentioning. The food I got was the Banh Trang torn, or the rice paper salad. I tried both the saucy version(too much sauce) and the non-saucy version, and the dish was very unique. I haven’t had anything like it before. It’s just rice paper that has been cut up like a salad. I wouldn’t get it again, but it was worth trying once. I also got the tamarind balut(fertilized duck egg). It was very tasty and different from regular balut. It is very reminiscent of Vietnam’s tamarind quail eggs, but in a different form. It’s very delicious and the vegetable rau ram that comes with it is my favorite. This is the only thing I would come back for.

Another boba shop to cross off my list! Stopped by this place on a weekday night with some friends. We got here and there were no line at all. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not. The cashier who took my order didn’t look like she wanted to be there. I was asked if it was my first time, said yes, and she didn’t say anything else except take my order. Okay. The interior looks like you’re sitting in a beehive. Very adorable and Instagram worthy décor and furniture. I don’t really like the black walls though. Feels a bit bleak to me. The drinks were decent. I was feeling kind of under the weather so I ordered a lemon iced tea with honey. It was superr sour and the bobas were not that soft and chewy. I couldn’t finish my drink. One cool and unique thing about this joint, however, is you can get your drinks in a capri sun looking bag. Which is the first I’ve heard of! Bonus for their creativity. But no, I would not come back. Not sure if I would recommend either because you can get better and cheaper drinks elsewhere. If you check in on Unilocal you get 10% off but only if you spend over $ 15.

+ Nice service + Drinks were cool enough for me + Decent indoor seating + Nice music! Nothing really bad to say about this place, but it does strike me as the run-of-the-mill tea place. There’s nothing about this place that makes me want to wake up 9AM on a Sunday morning to say, «Hey I want some Beepop today!.» However, this place is nice though. Service is nice, inside is nice and clean, drinks are nice. albeit not the greatest– still nice. I’d try it out if you’re in the area.

I came through here with my buds just because we wanted to try a new boba joint. Ok well, me personally. So anyways, its located right next to Zero Degrees which sucks because Beepop looked so empty. We came through and ordered from what looked like a very extensive menu. I had two drinks actually. The thai green tea tasted decent and wasn’t bad at all though later it was making me feel pretty queasy. They didn’t put too much matcha in there which was perfect for me. But after tasting it, I immediately tried my second drink which was a strawberry lemonade slush and it didnt taste good to me. My friend tried it and thought it was good but for me maybe it was the after taste of matcha lol. Overall its a nice boba spot. Nothing special though you can order Viet food there and dine in. Mostly snack type stuff though.

Came here last week with a friend because I saw she had bookmarked this place and noticed that there was boba service, whaaaat. If you can’t afford bottle service at the club, this is the next best thing! It’s not on the menu, so I asked about it and apparently it’s a little much for just two people so maybe next time, boo. The interior is your typical boba joint. Except I felt like a bee in a beehive. I guess that’s why it’s called BEEpop get it? Hehe anyway. So we asked the cashier for suggestions and he told us about a buy one get one for $ 1 and we were oh hells yeah. And then he told us they have boba bags! They look like huge caprisuns! We both ordered the green Thai tea. At first, I was like meh. But after a while it grew on me and it actually does taste like a Thai dessert. The bag was so big I got full before I had lunch. And that never happens. This place is definitely worth the money especially with the deal. Too bad it takes almost an hour to get here. But if I were around you’d find me here.

I ordered the almond milk tea here. They come in the regular cups, the bottles, and the bag. Really cool idea with the bag. The drink was ok. There’s a check in on Unilocal to get 10% off but that’s only if you dine in, and order at least $ 15 worth of food so that sucked since I couldn’t use it. They accept debit cards only! And at least $ 10 purchase to use debit card, or else it’s cash only! Anyway, I got my drink in a bottle with honey boba. Nothing special. Didn’t even really enjoy it all that much. Bland flavoring. A ton of ice in my drink as well. The WORST part is that they have almond pieces in my drink. Yeah straight up almond pieces. So not only was I chewing on the boba, but I had to make sure I wouldn’t choke on the almond pieces! Wish they would’ve told me that! Everyone inside and outside of the place was Vietnamese. Service was good but nothing special about the drinks. Most likely won’t be coming back.

Review for drinks only! I didn’t get any food so I’m not sure how they are. Avodurian smoothie: nice! It tasted more like avocados than durian though. Thai green tea: tastes good but I really hate the leaves at the bottom. Can’t they be filtered out??? Thai tea: okay. It was watery and I’ve had better.

Stumbled across this place because all the boba shops nearby were nearly closing. I must say, GOODFIND! Conveniently next to Zero Degrees. Iced Milk Drink:(with caramel, egg pudding, and boba) Totally fell in love with this! The milk itself was not too icy nor was it too smooth. The caramel was not overly sweet and the boba was good. Loved that it was served in a little pouch! So unique! It’s hard to beat Half and Half’s iced milk but I would def come back here just because it’s so much closer to me. Thai tea:(friend’s opinion) Subtle not overly sweet drink. If you’re a sweet tooth, you may or may not want to add more sweetener. I would recommended trying the original first then ask to make it a bit sweeter. Popcorn chicken: Standard! Just like any other popcorn chicken out there lol Golden fish ball:(friends opinion) Taste resembles like Jazz Cat’s but it’s not as spicy. She would come back here if she doesn’t want to drive all the way to Jazz! Service: Awesome. The young woman and young man were very kind. You can tell that the management will go above and beyond for their customers. Ambience: Good place to chill and just hang out. It’s pretty relaxed and Low key. All in all, beepop is great and I will come back to try other things!
