I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. I ordered the strawberry milk. I just got it in a cup since you have to pay extra for the glass bottles. The strawberry milk is really good. The milk is surprisingly refreshing. They give it to you unmixed so you can see the strawberry mixture at the bottom. It is sweet but not overly sweet. Just make sure you aren’t lactose intolerant if you order this. Would like to go back and try matchata.

I came here the other night and ordered the Coffee Horchata. Honestly… it was just whatevers and I would not order it again. I couldn’t decide whether to get ice cream or a drink at first. so I sampled the ice cream too. I tried the Taro & the Thai Tea, both were really good! :) It was similar to Frostbites, where they put it on top of Custard. I personally like the ICY texture of frostbites, but I also really enjoy the icecream too. what a dilemma! I know there is a Zero Express that has the drinks they have here, but not the icecream. I was enjoying my drink outside and there was a sign that said UBEMILK. that caught my attention! However, they only have it at Zero Express. I’ll have to try there next :) **You can purchase a glass jar for your drink. They’re really cute!

i found this place via Unilocal and stopped by after dinner with my family. i am not sure what they have here besides drinks but i came in to get the green tea horchata(matchata). i am a sucker for anything with matcha. it was great! my husband had the mangonada which had such an interesting flavor. definitely worth a try! they also have cool angel wings inside for a neat photo op.

Pretty good. The mangonado was pretty good. It wasn’t the best but it definitely was good. The prices here are a little steep. You have to pay extra for the bottle which sucks because roasting waters is included in the price. Which makes it better for me. I got the raspberry mojito which was fizzy and bubbly which I liked. I might try the orange one next time. Nice vibe and I like how spacious this place is. I would come again!

Expect a long wait. Last few times I’ve come here they seem under staffed. The wait to order takes awhile and when they’re backed up no one is there to be cashier. The time for drinks to come out takes a while too. I recommend their green tea horchata and their mangonada(ask for extra mangos). We also ordered their milk tea which was very very sweet(coming from a sweet tooth) and their coffee horchata which was a bit bland. The place offers games and has a few tables for large parties. The parking for the plaza is a good size too !

It’s hard to give this location a higher rating since there are so many other«Coffee and Tea» options in Garden Grove. Parking can definitely be tough and so can finding the location if you’re not familiar with the area. The Horchata coffee didn’t have much of a Horchata flavor. The Matchata was good. The employees were nice and checking in on Unilocal gives you 10% off.

Each time I went there, I was not disappointed. Definitely get there strawberry milk drink. And there strawberry mojito drink is refreshing as well along with their surprise potted desserts. It is usually a surprise because I let the workers choose the blends for me. Give it a try if you have never been. You’ll either be blown away or simply satisfied with a good dessert :)

Been here a few times, whenever we’re in the area. I prefer it over Tastea, Tebo, and 7leaves. Berry milk is my favorite drink there. So good! Get the reusable glass bottle! Milk and cereal sundae is really good too! Can get really crowded, so expect a wait. They’ve definitely gotten faster at making the drinks and sundaes though :) Lots of parking! They take cash.

I had seen pictures of this place all over my instagram, so I finally had to try it. Their menu is smaller than most boba places I’ve been to. However, the types of drinks they had were very unique, like coffee horchata and berry milk. I decided to try the matchata because I love horchata and matcha green tea. The drink was pretty good; tasted exactly like a combination of horchata and green tea. They also have these cute glass bottles like many hipster boba places these days. It was $ 1.50 extra, but I opted for it because I knew I would reuse the bottle later on. The drink prices are pretty comparable to other boba places I’ve been to. They also had ice cream there, which I’ll try out another time! Oh, and I can’t forget about the angel wings painted on the wall. Perfect for a crazy Instagrammer like myself trying to get the most creative picture to post.

Came to try this location and was happy. This one is located in a plaza good amount of parking as compared to the Long Beach one. Staff was great and helpful. This time i went with the bottle and Jasmine Milk Tea which was good and also got 10% off for checking in. Only wish this was closer to me or else I’d be here a lot. So far i’m 2 for 2 with Zero Degree’s drinks as far as being happy with them. I know I’ll be back again to this one and the LB one.

Ok ok, I spent $ 1.50 here to get a glass bottle instead of a plastic one, on top of the cost of the drink. Then, I saved 10% from my Unilocal check in, but tipped 10% :P. Joking aside, I really did like this smoothie/bubble tea/drink bar. There were a lot of options for people who like a variety of drinks, so in case someone in your party does not like bubble teas or smoothies, there is something for all. I ventured here after a very heavy lunch, so I was looking for something light. The cashier suggested a mojito drink, so I gave the strawberry mojito a try. I liked the chunks of strawberry and the carbonation, and the mint was refreshing. My friend got the jasmine milk tea with boba and seemed to like it a lot. A good place to stop to socialize or grab a mid afternoon pick-me-up.

This was my first time at Zero Degrees and I’ve been wanting to try it ever since some of my friends went to it a while ago. The built up excitement to try it was definitely met! My boyfriend and I decided to get drinks in their famous, cute bottles. I got a Raspberry Mojito. I originally asked for a pomegranate one, which they didn’t have since its out of season, which I was bummed about but I appreciate the fact they really do use fresh in-season products! And I prefer raspberries over pomegranate anyways. Just ask them what fruits they have for mojitos! I was really pleased with my Raspberry Mojito! It looked absolutely beautiful, totally picture worthy! And it was very refreshing with a hint of sparkle. I’m sensitive to sparkling drinks, but this one didn’t tickle my throat at all or make my eyes water from the sparkle. It was perfect! My boyfriend got the Coffee Horchata and it tastes like coffee ice cream! It was also very delicious! It wasn’t tooooo crowded when we went either at like 4:30ish which was nice. The cashier was also friendly and the service was quick! I like how they also have Unilocal pictures on a screen next to the menu on the wall so you can see what the different drinks look like. I would come here again! Next time I would love to try the ice cream!

+ Kept clean + Open seating inside + Simple and minimal + Awesome customer service + I’m a believer in the Machata drink First time here last night and I was thoroughly satisfied. The menu is simple and easily seen, as it’s painted right there on their wall in clean font. Service is pretty quick. I ordered my drink, went to the restroom to wash my hands, I came back and it was completed. The inside is kept nice and clean. You have tables to sit at and play games(Jenga/cards/etc) as well as just chill and watch music videos that they stream on the TV inside. It’s a very laid back atmosphere in here, and I’d love to come back again. Also, it was my first time having the«Machata» and you know, I’m definitely a fan.

If there’s one thing I can say about this place… they take some really nice pictures. wouldn’t you agree? I had the mangonada the other day with my girlfriend… damn if you like that tamarind mexican candy that they sell in Mexico or at the trucks in Santa Ana then you are in for a treat! It basically is a mango smoothie smothered with tamarind type of stuff and comes with a gigantic mexican candy-like straw. But for me honestly, I was done after a couple of sips! It was just too much to handle lol. Don’t say you haven’t been warned! I have also tried their ice cream. It is decent and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it, but I think that places like frostbites do a better job overall. That’s just me personally though. Their mojitos are probably the star of the show for me. They are so refreshing. Strawberry is a little bit sweeter, raspberry is a little bit more tart, I personally liked the pomegranate a lot because it came with a bajillion pomegranate seeds. I friggn love pomegranate seeds. I wonder if they could upsize this because then it would be just perfect. OH and don’t forget to check in on Unilocal! You get 10% off right now as check in offer!

My friend Bonnie took me here eons ago and I totally forgot that I hadn’t written a review for here yet. Ordered a mangoada in their jar the first time. It was interesting for me because you could taste the mango, but the stronger heat came from it as well. It was a spicy drink. What? You thought drinks could make you cool down? Nope! An iced drink called the mangoada is coming for you! If you’re not into unique flavors, then you’re probably not going to like it here. Or you can get something that’s more classical. Van’s probably gonna say something about this, but the second time, I came with my friends and I got the orange mojito with(chia?) seeds. It’s like an orange crème soda, or orange sparkling soda of some sorts? It’s really interesting and it’s tasty. And the thing is, you can choose from 3 fruit flavors as well! It was empty when I went at noon on a Tuesday with my friends, but they probably attract a lot of people. The reviews, opening 2 other locations in RH and long beach… It’s a good place to try creative… creations!

Came here since my niece was nagging to go. I’ve never been here so I agreed to make the trek. We came on a cold Sunday night so of course the place was deserted. The ambiance reminded me of every other dessert place in Westminster/Garden Grove area– modern, hip, clean. They also have a box full of cards and games if you choose to hang out while eating or drinking your dessert. I am a big fan of horchata and matcha green tea(also thai tea but that’s irrelevant) so of course I ordered the Matchata. You guys should make a Thaichata jus sayinnnnn! My niece ordered the strawberry milk and a cup of Italian ice with dole whip. She got strawberry and lychee ice on top of dole whip to be exact. The Matchata was good. They make their own horchata so don’t expect what you’re used to from Mexican restaurants. The drink tasted like I was drinking the leftover milk after eating Apple Jacks cereal. My nieces strawberry milk was really good too. Reminded me of the nesquik strawberry milk I used to make when I was little with the powder. Except this was better! Fresh strawberries! Next time we’ll try their sundaes if we have another sugar craving to satisfy.

I love chamoy and mangoes, so you best believe I’m a fan of chamangoes. I also tried another sundae but we scarfed that down before I could snap a photo of it. This was taken pre-renovation, so I’m not sure what the interior looks like now.

I absolutely love Zero Degrees. I come here specifically for the boba sundae. It’s such a genius idea, I’m surprised no one did it before. Basically, vanilla custard + green or Thai tea ice + boba + caramel/condensed milk drizzle. How can you go wrong?! Every time the boba has been consistently chewy. Portion size is perfect. Taste is perfect. Except one time when it got a bit salty, but that’s because Adele was playing in the background and they were very quick to stop that. Overall, I would highly recommend it. In regards to drinks, the matchata drink is pretty good(matcha + horchata). Note: Don’t forget to check in for 10% off!

So many new ice cream and dessert places to try!!! Came here for the Matchata and chamango. Cashier was super nice. Took my 10% Unilocal check in and told me the bottle I got could get me 10% each time I come back. Both were reallllllly good! The Matchata is a little sweet but so tasty! I love how they go together. It makes me want to try the coffee one. I was kind of iffy about the chamango at first because I can’t really do spicy but it tasted like Lucas or tajin… which I love. Paired really well with the mango and it had a more sorbet like mango ice thing on the top and a creamier texture ice cream on the bottom. Will def go again!

I started coming here back in 2013 because the potted sundaes drew me in(its still currently one of my favorites, by the way — get the thai tea potted sundae!). The staff is patient in offering samples, and orders come out pretty quickly. The store is kept really clean and offers plenty of seating and there are always really good music videos playing on the tv(Reminding me that music videos still exist these days)! I used to love the Strawberry Milk here, but after the 2nd store opening in rowland heights & new menu items, it seems they may have changed the recipe for the strawberry milk. It now seems like straight up milk with a only faint hint of strawberry and sugar. Maybe next time I’ll ask for extra strawberry? It wont deter me away though since prices are really affordable and most of everything is really good. Also, one of the biggest reasons I love Zero is because they have FRESH watermelon slush!!! Regardless of whatever else I order, I always have to leave with watermelon slush!!! Yum! Also, check in on Unilocal for a discount!
