C & K Vision Optometry

My family has been going to this place for over 10 years and we were giving this place the benefit of the doubt, but every time we come they manage to mess something up. The customer service is terrible and the prices are horrible. I do NOT recommend going here. My family will no longer be returning.

I used to buy my glasses from this place until my mom had a horrible experience with the staff and when I found out the optometrist didn’t get an accurate reading on my vision.
First off, when I recommended my mom to this place, she saw they had some nice collection of frames and because they took her insurance here. When one of the guys adjusted her glasses, he put a permanent mark on her frames and she brought that to his attention. The guy denied it and then started talking to the other workers, including the optometrist, in Vietnamese trying to lie and cover up his mess up. Just because she doesn’t look Viet doesn’t mean she doesn’t understand. She was so angry. I’d be pissed off too, and I know my mom is a good-​hearted person. My family stopped going to this place after that. Also, this place is lame. They make you pay more for your prescription test for contacts if you try to purchase contacts elsewhere. They charge a lot for contacts.
Secondly, when I found a new optometrist that my friend recommended me too, I was so happy about the recommendation. It was just down the street and a lot cheaper to get both tests for glasses and contacts. The optometrist has been in business for many years and has a lot of customers. She told me my frames that I had purchase from the last optometry that I went too was too high and explained to me how optometrists do the testing. C&K made my reading for my glasses too high, which would cause my eye muscles to strain every time I used them. Based on this optometrists opinions and how she presents herself, her credentials are high on my ladder. It went up event more when I had a vision problem and she resolved it without charge. She’s such a humble person, unlike the people who work for C&K.
