At a gathering, Phong overheard me complaining about the thousands of dollars i was paying for my car insurance; he approached me and told me he was an agent and that he could help… i thought, right, with my crazy driving record, and my car, there is no way he can reduce my payments and offer a competitive product. I called him anyway, because what did i have to lose? He called me back with a quote and I was sure he had increased my deductible and downgraded my insurance; cause there was no way he could offer the same level of coverage for over a thousand dollars less. I went through the policy with him and not only had he not reduced my coverage, but he had also improved it. Given the price, I was afraid that the services would be inferior or lacking. I have to tell you, going with Phong was the best decision I made.
Fortunately, i had not had any claims since I switched, so i had not truly experienced the service. A week ago, my car was hit by a bumper that was bouncing around in traffic on the freeway. The SUV in front of me ran over it and catapulted it into my car. It damaged my front bumper, hood, front quarter panel, roof, and my windshield had to be replaced. My car is not even a year old yet, so I was not very happy to see all this damage.
I called Phong the day after this happened, he took care of filing the paperwork and sent me an email with a phone number to contact to have the car inspected and fixed. All i had to do was to make a call and take my car into a shop very close to my home. The shop Mercury recommended is great as well; they send me daily pictures of my car and where in the process they are with it. I dropped off the car on Monday and it will be ready on Friday.
I have been recommending Phong to my friends and family since I got my insurance with him, my main reason for the recommendation was his competitive prices; now that I have actually had a claim, his amazing service and responsiveness tells me I made the right choice by going with him. Found Phong on Unilocal because my car insurance was expiring and instead of the rates going down, it went up a bit. Just like majority of the reviewers have said already, Phong is very knowledgeable and professional. I actually called ahead of time and he told me exactly what i needed to bring so that everything would go as quickly as possible. Took probably around 15mins from start to finish and i was saving myself about $ 450 a year. It’s funny because I had Mercury before using AIS, so i canceled that policy and got Mercury again through Phong for a way better price!

Great customer service! Go to PHONG! He is very helpful! He went over all the different health coverages one by one to help me pick the best ideal plan.
